It's always a popular mc Donald's but you can usually find a spot to sit upstairs that's why I go there. The toilets are always clean and service is prompt, the staff are helpful and friendly but I do find that I have to clean my own table before eating, having said that the tables are cleared regularly. It is my regular Mc D.

Called in for lunch with the kids. Very average unfortunately. Food could have been a bit hotter, burgers looked like that had been thrown together with sauce coming out the sides. Buns seemed to be a bit greasy too. The table we picked hadn’t been cleaned particularly well, the table had been wiped but the floor was dirty under the table and the seats didn’t look like they had been wiped either. The toilets were also quite smelly. While they say they check them often it looks like they need some TLC.

Guy who served me (couldn't understand what he was saying due to his poor English) put mayo chicken and then when I corrected him never added it as a meal which I had requested Props to the manager though who let me have fries for free and apologised. Not a bad McDonald's. Always mega busy, especially with uber collections in all the time. The area leaves a little to be desired, often see an altercation with people begging for money. One near highcross is safer optio.

Traffic wardens are visible in the area sometime even one o'clock in the morning. If you are driving better avoid this place or park in a safe place away and walk.

Hit and miss on it being rammed Did you know the machines aren't just for bank cards ? You can order your meal on the screens and then press pay for order, then cancel order, it says pay with cash? And say yes . Then it gives you a ticket. You go up to the cashier and hand a ticket over with out hardly any words needed your meal is being prepared ha! So if you have a big order you can take your time on the machine lol!#anxiety

Lovely site. Always keep clean and tidy despite how ridiculously busy it can get (due to location I expect). The self service machines and table service definitely help in reducing queue times, and service is just as quick when you order food to the table, impressive. The staff always seem to be upbeat and getting on with whatever needs doing. I’ve yet to find fault with this McDonald’s and will continue to visit.

Not the best Mcdonalds. The first time I came here I odered something small (mcflurry, fries & nuggets) and the screen was packed and all staff members (including the shift manager) had no urgency to serve anyone. I was served in 10 mins which is ridiculous for something so small. The seating area upstairs was closed off which I'm aware happens past a certain time, however the downstairs seating is limited and for the amount of people in the McDonald's I thought it was a bit cramped. There was no counter for pepper/salt and sauces, and I wasn't given any napkins. The staff were unprofessional, with one member swearing really loudly in the customer vicinity and not apologising, but overall they were okay. Once seated the cleaner kept coming over to clean the already clean area, wanted to get rid of our rubbish when we were still eating and just generally being annoying by hovering. When we were gathering our things she interupted by saying there was some kind of code on the receipt that I needed when I wanted to throw my receipt away. All in all it wasn't the best experience. The second time was in the morning and the staff were alot better and more professional however they did get my order wrong when I asked for a latte and was given a hot chocolate. The area was clean and staff were friendly enough. I've given a 3 star due to how I felt about my first visit and I wouldn't necessarily go to this McDonald's again but the food was edible and mistakes corrected when mentioned.

I've stopped at this McDonald's many times while out on the road. The staff are friendly, helpful and smiling. The menu choice for vegetarians is limited in comparison to some European menus. The service where you order things on the screen can be a little risky because I have had things missing from my order several times. McDonald's anywhere is always busy, but the one by the clock tower is extremely busy and often doesn't have very nice people inside. The one by the town square is much better for this. The food here is delicious and is priced very well. There are also a lot of seats to choose from and you can even get high chairs for your kid!

It's McDonald's it's quick and easy. Normally get a breakfast for the team at work. Has touch screen ordering system same as any other McDonald's. It's clean and pretty quick as well. You know what your getting when you go to any McDonald's and what more do you want.

I usually go to McD's on the Clock Tower but as I was in Market Street and there was plenty of available seating I decided to give this one a go. The service was good and the food was tasty and hot, had my usual, Big Mac meal. The reason for my low rating is that there was nothing at the condiments bar other than the ketchup dispenser. No salt, sugar, serviettes, straws, stirrers etc!!. I didn't want to queue up again to get these things and risk then not getting somewhere to sit, so had to drink coffee without sugar and fries with no salt on. Spoilt my meal.

The classic end of night snack to take the edge off. I've been coming to this McDonalds for years, during the day it's often very busy, but it's smaller size and better layout still make it a much better option than the McDonald's in the high cross. Stays open all night as far as I can see and has a public restroom that is kept reasonably well. Service and food is pretty standard for McDonald's. Some odd characters late at night but very rarely anything unruly or discomforting.

I was expecting to take a table number and wait for the food to be delivered. it wasn't a bad experience, just not what I was expecting the food is at its normal high standards and sametude. why not 5*? don't know for what it is perhaps I was stingy on the stars. for me I never know if I am going to get a milkshake because the machines always malfunction. I think there needs to be an app that tells you if the milkshake is not on the menu.

Well, you know, McDonald's is McDonald's but I had a toffee sundae (OK, 2 toffee sundaes cos I'm an ice cream addict) and they had a layer of ice cream around the edge but were both completely hollow. They fixed it when I pointed it out but it's been happening more and more over the last few months and I'm just glad I was still there when I noticed. It's outrageous, especially as most people probably don't complain so they are dropping people off who are too timid to point out that they've been shafted. If you read this McDonald's, shame!

This store is quite slow in preparing orders compared to other stores. They also do not check the orders through the app so you go there thinking your order is ready to collect but instead you have to wait for your order to be placed after you let them know that you ordered through the app.
