1st time tonight. Amazing. The best fish and chips for a long time. The chips were perfectly cooked, all brown and proper, not white like they shouldn't be. We also had SF chicken which they cooked specially for us. Fab. The staff were great too. Thankyou.

Only chip shop I use on saffron lane, never had a bad meal from there.

6pm on a Tuesday night had to wait for chips, but that's ok, but what I thought would be fresh chips turned out to be refried from another day and the fish was full of small bones. Now normally the food I'd good but it's put me of going back.

I've been going to millennium for past decade and it ceases to amaze me. I've been to the two chip shops in Monsell and I can hands down say that they don't even measure to the quality of food served from here. I mean what kinda chip shop doesn't serve scratchings!? I will never go to any other chip shop as I'm usually in the Saff/Monsell area and I will continue to pledge my allegiance to the greatest chip shop in Leicester. Tasty food and awesome staff.

As a customer of millennium fish and chips of when it opened. I am sad to say that of recent times the chips have really gone downhill. Today my chips were super greasy and looked like they are severely overcooked. Last time they were super skinny chips and not at all like chip shop chips and before they were undercooked. Pretty sad times if I have to start being a customer of an alternative fish and chip shop because your food is so erratic. Before and on occasion you were 5* and now it's more like 2*.
