Very good ambience. Real artworks on the walls which makes whole place a unique one. Cozy and inviting. Very attentive staff members. Fantastic selection of alcohol drinks. Tasty Cocktails. The food menu not too extensive which indicates fresh produce. Classics with a twist I'd say. Subtle life music on sunday early afternoon. Relaxing and welcoming environment. Absolutely worth visiting. Hope to be back in the evening. We'll done you guys. Also the very best Bloody Mary money can buy!

I've been a couple of times now and the food is outstanding! I might even go as far as to claim that this might just be the best restaurant in Leicester. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, staff is very friendly and helpful and the desserts are out of this world!

This was the second time we've used Orton's to host our Graduation Reception and we couldn't have been happier! The front of house team couldn't be more accommodating, despite us getting in their way constantly! Mary Jane is a wonderful host. Very forgiving when we change things at the last moment and an absolute pleasure to work with. The food is wonderful and ambiance perfect. I couldn't recommend Orton's more 😁👍 See you again in August!

Not really a food place. Got a variety of drinks which I'm sure is nice; a friend of mine order a half pint but was served a full pint. But me and friend came for food. For £16 you can get a small block of fish and some reheated chips. And for £6 you can get a nice Instagram picture of desert; the desert itself has a nice artistic style but lacks any substance. It was a interesting experience but my friend and I will be glad never to come back.

Amazing, you need to try out Orton's Brasserie. The place is decorated brilliantly, they've made sure the tables are socially distanced from each other. It can get a little noisy but it's just everyone having a good time. The service was brilliant and the staff are very friendly and super attentive to their customers. The chefs in this place make some amazing food from there compact menu which I guess means they then make sure each dish is brilliantly presented and tastes as good as they look. Really recommend the chicken liver parfait and the fish and chips very different but just absolutely delicious. Hugh choice of cocktails and drinks and wine.... the sauvignon blanc they had was amazing and everything is very reasonably priced for what you get. Will be going back for sure to try out the tapas menu.

Been here before for brunch and cocktails when it opened. Came again for dinner and both times we had ovely tasting food beautifully presented. Drinks and service were both high standard. The decor is nice too. The tempura batter broccoli and lemon and raspberry posset were particularly notable.

This might not be a fair review because we visited during the pandemic. The menu was limited. No tapas. The music was a bit too loud for dinning experience. The staff were good friendly and the cocktails were great well presented. I will visit again because it will be a better experience I'm sure once the lockdowns are over.

Went for dinner and enjoyed two little plates for our starter (duck and cod); then the monkfish and burger for mains. Lovely food and good wine (we had a bottle of gavi). Good service too. Only downside was the coffee which was pretty tasteless and expensive. Regardless will return and recommend. We had a lovely meal. Thank you!

Staff very friendly, environment is very nice that doesn’t look like you’re at Leicester city centre. In front of the curve theatre! Good for a pre-theatre meal once the theatre is back running. A few steps away from the train station if you want to finish the night Cocktails have really nice presentation

Orton's is my absolute favourite restaurant in Leicester. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted! Servers are also great, always efficient, polite and happy. Absolutely wonderful! The owner has done amazing! Turning it into a lovely hybrid establishment! The food is unbelievable, staff were awesome, welcoming and friendly! Can go there for a social night with friends, date night with the old other half or side chick you know! Lovely atmosphere even after lockdown. Felt comfortable and not unsafe. Will definitely go again for sure! Maybe breakfast next time!

Went to a book launch and had a fabulous time. I'd not been since it had changed ownership and was pleasantly supervised. It was nice having the windows open onto the side garden which set a nice feel of the inside out. I'm going back next week to try the food.

Visited with a friend and two babies and had the most amazing experience! We asked for a table out of the way and were offered a private dining room where my toddler could stretch his legs without getting in to mischief. I also called ahead to check if a milk allergy could be accommodated - when we arrived I was given a menu which had been altered to clearly show which meals were safe/could be amended to be safe. The chef also created a completely new, off-menu dessert for me when he couldn't amend the existing ones. The quality of the food was exceptional and portions were generous. We ordered some cocktails which matched the high standard of the food. I ordered a couple of mocktails and it was a nice surprise for them to actually look and taste like a cocktail (instead of a juice mix in a nice glass!). Honestly one of the best meals I've had and the staff created such a friendly, comfortable atmosphere - we will definitely be making many return trips!

🦋 WoW .. A beautiful transition of a find while strolling through a winding road of a churchyard in the cultural quarter ..
