P. S.A small chearful place, serving tasty authentic parathas, and curries. No frills in this place, just good food. Not expensive either. A great place (if u are looking for Punjabi food) for breakfast, brunch, lunch, tea or dinner. Well worth a visit...👍🏽

The only good thing was their Stuffed Alloo Parota. Great taste and texture. Totally loved it.
That's the only good part.
Their both curries were mediocre at best. Unsatisfactory flavors / spices / panner : curry ratio. Along with horrible packing for delivery. Everything leaked onto the other packed stuff and made a total mess. Who packs curries with Foil Container with Lid. Total wrong move.
Mango Lassi was also average at best. Their quantity felt much less that what I expected. But that's on me.
3 Stars because the Parota made my day.

L.We always eat here when we visit Leicester but unfortunately we have caught covid twice after visiting this place. Although it could be due to somewhere else... we can only think of here as we always wear mask everywhere but obviously cannot whilest eating.
The food is perfect everytime and for low price but the seating area is too small considering today's pandemic now means we need space around us. No window open. Heating blasting.
Also, their fire alarm been beeping since before October and still last week.. change batteries!
Service is fast in terms of getting your food to the table but ordering is a little slow as one person cooks and works on till.
We would give 5 stars for food but after contracting covid twice after visiting Shere punjab where there's no social distancing and people coughing just inches away we feel we cannot give 5 star.
Paneer pakora is amazing!
D. A.Shere Punjab has been around for years on St. Saviours Road and yes it's not an ultra modern restaurant with quality furnishings - but it doesn't promise to be either. It promises great quality Panjabi cuisine at a fair price and it does just that. The Samoseh are some of the best you can buy in any shop and the other dishes are delicious. You know what you are going to get when you come here and that's why people continue to come here even when the rest of the world has gone ultra modern.

I took at takeaway, sat down on a bench right adjacent to the shop and gobbled down two samosas and a decent amount of jalebis...
Loved the flavour... Truly nice stuff, and pretty economical. £3/kg jalebis and 40p samosas... Wow..
Will definitely revisit. Highly recommended...👍👍
Z. K.We ordered 2 saag and makhai the rotie. Absultly devine. Took us back to India and our childhood favourite. Also ordered spinish paneer for the children and punjab pakora to take away.
Although we preferred the saag the children really enjoyed spinich paneer with alloo pratha and punjab pakora all highly recommended.

G. C.I ordered starters and main course meals from Shere Punjab for my son’s birthday. My all guests enjoyed the food. In fact they all were asking me who made this yummy food. I will definitely recommend Shere Punjab to all those people who like to eat delicious food at reasonable price. Also, staff here is so friendly. I been here with my family 3-4 times in last couple of months and we always felt welcome and loved the food.

P. S.The samsoa and snacks are OK. Would stay away from the curries. Taste like they have gone off and give you a upset stomach the following day. Overall OK but not great.

G. D.I discovered this small restaurant a bit late during my year and a half stay in Leicester. Don't get misled by the very simple decor when you enter. They offer a very good variety of authentic Punjabi food. I have always found the portions to be quite large. This is probably a very rare combination - great food, great portion size and yet very reasonably priced. Not to forget a very polite service. I highly recommend the aloo parathas and makke ki roti with saag.
S. V.As always the quality of the food is outstand and the prices are very reasonable. The speed of service varies but the homely atmosphere and friendly service makes up for this minor shortfall. Fantastic and authentic Punjabi cuisine.
U. S.A small cute dhaba that offers excellent parthas accompanied by dahi and pickles. Their lassi is also very tasty. Gives you a homely feeling due to personalised service. Would recommend all. To try the food at an extremely decent rate
