Fantastic quality ingredients and yummy food! No frills kinda place with a decent number of options on the menu (including vegetarian), fast service, simple dining. The only slightly off putting thing about the place was the couple of TV screens with constant government/NHS covid propaganda on loop!! No idea what that was all about, but I've not ate out for some time so could be a new thing for restaurants. All in all, a perfect little place to enjoy some tasty and healthy food at a reasonable price. You can't go wrong!

Would certainly recommend- authentic Greek food. Many vegetarian options -that was very important to me. Fresh vegetable -delicious tomatoes. Tasty tzatziki and good quality halloumi. Pita bread was okay! I will be visiting them again .

I’ve ordered over apps and ate in the restaurant several times and food is always delicious and fresh. I’d only say the pork and chicken gyro meat is a little on the salty side but in general, I’m always happy to eat from The Olive.

If you are in search on Authentic Greek food this is the place. I have tried numerous in the midlands and the olive is far superior in terms of quality and taste. The Chicken Gyro is very tender and delicious. The Tzatziki is better than some I have tasted in Greece. Highly recommended reminds me of my visit in Mykonos 3 years ago before COVID. Absolutely beautiful Greek food, I couldn't recommend this place anymore. A really nice relaxed atmosphere with great food and friendly staff. It's not the biggest place so you may have to grab a takeaway or wait but its worthwhile.

Good service but a little slow (but I think they were low on staff so not really an issue), and portion sizes were good however my wife's food was a little dry and half of the pork seemed undercooked compared to the other half, which considering the time was a little odd and the reason for the score.

Exceeded my expectations. A group of us went and had different items from the menu. We were all impressed with how good they were. Perfect for a quick cheap snack/meal. Only downside was the food arrived at different times so some were finishing as the others arrived.

I have just come back from Crete and fancied the Greek flavours. I stumbled upon the Olive and all I can say that it is on par with the food in Crete. For comparison i ordered the Chicken Gyros and then Pork Gyros. The chicken and pork was moist and the tzatziki was exceptional. I will be ordering again tomorrow! 5*

Lovely Gyros pitta, takes me back to many a holiday in Greece. Good portion and full of flavour. I took a star off based on the the atmosphere doesn’t really feel a place to relax and eat. The silence is quite deafening and the stream of deliveroo drivers coming in makes it more of a takeaway. I will be eating here again though.

So authentic didn't even feel like I was in Leicester. completely disagree with another review on here, the meat is lovely not dry at all, the bread is perfect, even got the chips down to a fine art. Okay to have in a rush, but not very healthy. We had the mushroom wrap. All the wraps come with chips. Most of the flavour came from the salty chips and tzatziki. The mushrooms were quite bland, but the onions added some much needed texture and crunch. It seems as if veg options are not their forte, and more of an afterthought. So unless you’re eating meat or you like salty chips in a pitta wrap, I’d avoid going here. It would be good if they had more plant based options e.g. a hummus wrap with salad etc.

I usually order online but the other day I was able to go in store for the first time. The woman serving me was lovely and helped me order as I forgot what I usually would get online. Even when I got part of my order wrong she was very accomodating. The food never disappoints. I have reccommened to most of my friends since my first delivery haha. Good place, good food, the bread in the gyro wrap is so nice and soft, so it doesn’t overdo it, and it’s not too heavy. Review would be a higher rate, but I had to give it a 3 because I attempted to go here twice after the lockdown restrictions were lifted and they were delivery only, which is frustrating because I like their food but don’t live within the delivery zone. But food wise, you can’t fault it. Quality food for the fairly average price, would totally return.

The halloumi pita was good for the first few bites but the halloumi to salad ratio was off - way too much halloumi and too little salad to balance it out. Bread was pretty good though. My recommendation would be to have the pork gyro or the chicken souvlaki wraps because both of these items are delicious. The chicken was especially flavoursome. Great Gauthentic greek food in a fast food kind of way. Also has seating for about 20people. Food menu allows for portion size on some items and has indicators for menu items that take longer to prepare as dinner items. Although not licenced the selection of canned and bottled drinks is good. I had a plate sized portion lamb Slouvaki which was a good large portion. Food is freshy prepared with fresh flavous. Would recommend for snack or evening meal.

I always come here whenever i miss the street food of greece. Greek food is by far my favourite cuisine and this hidden gem doesn't disappoint. I came here as soon as i got back from cyprus (i was already missing the food ). We had halloumi fries served with tzatziki, which were delicious, tirokafteri (feta dip) which is by far my favourite and chicken souvlaki wraps. The chicken was tasty and succulent, it had so much flavour in the wrap and was full of fresh salad and tzatziki. Would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants traditional greek street food. Leicester has long been lacking great Greek food in the city centre and the Olive hits the spot! The food is always super fresh, authentic and amazing with the most friendly of welcomes and service- just like being in Greece! We have been a few times and looking forward to our next visit already! The children and adults alike love the calamari, homemade tzatziki, gyros, souvlaki, halloumi chips.... well everything!
