First time trying the Podgy Punjab and would definitely recommend. Very tasty, flavoursome home cooked food. Good friendly service. Will definitely be using again. Ian and Kirstie

We had a takeaway from here for the very first time on Saturday. I liked the idea of authentic Indian food not cooked for the masses. There wasn't a huge choice, but that made it easier to decide what to order. I did it all through their website from ordering to paying. You could leave questions on your order form. Harvey came straight back to me with answers to my query and with a rough delivery time. He followed up nearer the time with a WhatsApp and an ETA. So it was personally delivered by him (he also cooks the meat dishes). We got a sample Tarka Dhal which we wouldn't have chosen normally but it was delicious. Our lamb curry was tasty and flavoursome, we just ordered it 'normal' heat strength and we found the spice levels just perfect for us. We will definitely use The Podgy Punjab again, excellent food and excellent personal service. 👌

I’ve held back leaving a review until I’ve had chance to try most of the dishes offered, and I can honestly say The Podgy Punjab does not disappoint! Being a fussy meat eater all my life, I always approach new dishes and restaurants with caution by only sticking to what I know; becoming more adventures with later orders. The Podgy Punjab has always been a fantastic experience serving delicious quality food every time. Surprisingly after trying a few of their vegetarian dishes it’s hard to believe a meal can taste so good; even with the absence of meat. All their dishes are perfectly balanced without having any one ingredient that over powers the others. The amount of fat is also appears to be massively reduced when compared to restaurants. Dishes I’ve enjoyed the most are: Chilli Paneer – Very good flavours and difficult to understand is vegetarian. Lamb Samosa – Just delicious, bursting with flavour with a crispy pastry. Order extra! Desi Chicken Curry – This rivals any curry I’ve ever tasted, I real treat for the taste buds. Overall, outstanding quality, perfectly balanced. A true taste of authentic Punjab food.

A great meal delivered on Saturday. The dahl makhani and was tasty and so different from standard Indian (well mostly Bangladeshi) Restaurant fare. The desi chicken curry was delicious. well done! Will certainly re-order.
