A. A.The service was great, they have a 2 for 1 cocktail happy hour with an interesting variety. The food in my opinion was fine. I will go back for drinks, but probably not the food. We ordered a starter of ribs, a side plate of cheese fries, jerk chicken and buttermilk fried chicken. The buttermilk fried chicken was the best plate out of them. We also hAd 4 cocktails with a bill of 51 pounds which was great.
R. R.The atmosphere was pretty good, food was nice and staff were really friendly. The location is great, right at the heart of town next to the Highcross shopping centre. Parking is close by and only a couple of quid. Great to round off a night or afternoon in the city centre. It is also a great spot to be dropped off and picked up by taxi's, so quite accessible.
V. A.G The bar manager is amazing. Proper polite and friendly. Very lovely bloke and made some lovely cocktails. Must advise to come here for Happy Hour for two drinks for price of one. Hoestly what a lovely man. X
j. b.We went for a post threatre meal, we had booked in advance for 5.45pm and specified we needed space for a pram. They managed to fit us in, but no note was made about the pram. Service was friendly and quick. We have been plenty of times, but music was very load on this occasion, my husband couldn't hear me from across the table. We have a 4yr old that is not a picky eater, but the kids menu is limited to burgers or jerk chicken both with fries. He had the chicken and they swapped the fries for rice. Would be nice if they offered small portions of the adult meals for kids. He enjoyed his meal, we did ask for some mayonnaise as the chicken came without any sauce and was dry by itself. I did also take advantage of 241 on cocktails.
M. M.I came to Turtle Bay for date night with my Mrs, will definitely be going for our next night out too. The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. We were served by Lila on the bar who made us some beautiful looking cocktails, that tasted even better than they looked. The food was excellent, I loved the jerk chicken. The music, friendliness of the staff, and just the overall vibe made us feel like we were on a holiday in the Caribbean. Thank you very much Turtle Bay!

A.Honestly went on an impulse and didn’t know what to expect. But the food, drinks, service and atmosphere was amazing. I’ve tried prawns from other places afterwards and still have not stopped dreaming of the ones from here! Would definitely recommend the small plates and rum!
B. P.Great, fresh food. Excellent service and atmosphere. I had the best fresh lime and soda water of my life! Not too expensive. A definite to go again. The waiter was attentive but not annoying.

T. A. B.Have been for bottomless brunch twice now and the service has been poor both times. You have a 2 hour slot and we only had 1 cocktail in the first hour. Very hard to get more drinks and told by other staff that you had to wait for your servicer to take the order. Would be better not to have the 'bottomless brunch' and to pay for the food and drinks that you actually have. When they come, the food and drinks are very nice.

C. T.Personally had one amazing experience one mediocre. This was mediocre if you're on bottomless the wait per a drink is at least 15minutes + there's also an add charge thats folded conveniently so you can't see its optional. If they'd said I'd be fine and probably add more to round it, but it's s the fact it's not said and just done. And to be blunt you feel rude to ask what's the service charge.
If it wasn't the long wait times on drinks I'd happily said 5 stars but 15 minutes and to be blunt we were there to get drunk but instead we were tipsy

Good place when you have the company and in the mood. Even at quiet times it is quite noisy with the music, not really a place for a quiet drink, or romantic get together.

J. B.Turtle Bay always offer great Cocktails. It’s better to go at Happy Hour so you get 2 for 1 on cocktails, but either way, their drinks are great. Food as well, is exceptional, with a Caribbean vibe all round.
R.Great bottomless brunch (2hrs). Good food, and great mix of cocktails. Not really a negative, as is quite logical, but rather than ordering different flavour cocktails individually, (we were a group of 4) you’re encouraged to order the same cocktail as a group. This is to save the time it takes to make individual cocktails, so that potentially you have more time to drink and order more within the 2 hour limit.

J. L.Turtle Bay has always been one of my favourite places. I love the food, the atmosphere, the rum.
The quality has not diminished and the rum is still brilliant. However this Caribbean themed restaurant seems to be getting less Caribbean themed. The charming one pots that were served in blue and white enameled pots, are now in bowls. The menu has taken a decided turn towards a western market (they no longer have rum cake). The whole experience left me longing for a little more authenticity.
Please don't get me wrong, I loved my visit and I will continue to go there whenever I'm back in the country. However it the small changes I saw today don't seem, in my humble opinion, to be changes for the better.
I will say that the staff that served us were exceptional, friendly and so efficient. The area she was covering should have been covered by 2 staff minimum, yet the young lady was working was on her own and was still getting the job done. Whilst being a wonderful addition to the whole experience.

C. B.The food and drink is incredible, particularly the squid and curried goat. However, the service left alot to be desired; having to ask for cutlery for both courses and long waits between drinks/courses. Also feels as though you're packed in like sardines.
But we came on a Saturday afternoon, when the place was absolutely heaving, so a lot can be forgiven, particularly when most hospitality industries are so short staffed. When we asked to remove our desserts and just get the bill, the manager insisted on removing drinks and giving us a discount. Fabulous customer service, which made up for their "sins"!

G. E.We booked for my birthday for 3 people and we’re given a tiny table of two with only two sets of cutlery and 2 menus. They then found a chair from somewhere else in the restaurant when I told them it was for 3 people not two. I asked if their was another table but they said only outside was available. I think this new method of seating people is wrong ad their wasn’t enough room for 3 mains, a bottle of prosecco and sides on the table… this should be changed.
Having said this. Izzy our waitress was absolutely amazing and was so lovely about the whole situation. She was on top of everything and was really great. The food was also lovely, thank you :)

Today, came for bottomless brunch for 2 and was served by Alan who was very friendly and enthusiastic. Despite it being busy for bunch, he kept us topped up on our drinks when they were running low🙌🏼 We had a Vegan Motherclucker Burger with Sweet Potato Fries & a Roti Chicken Wrap with Grilled Halloumi!
They also kindly threw in extra shot kindly for our anniversary and maintained social distancing in line with COVID guidance. Will be coming back soon!☺️
