c. c.Best chip shop in Leicestershire! The whole menu is delicious, we love the food and the.service is second to none! Owners are fantastic and we love the traditional vibe of the shop. Now we have found this gem, we will not go anywhere else for our chips! Keep up the good work. 👍

W.I just had to share this after my wife and i went on a walk to Bradgate park we came across, what i can only describe as on of the most back in time chip shops i have ever eaten from, bar only the black country museum. what an amazing time casual this eatery this is. The shop is just a feast for the eyes with old memorabilia on the walls. The food did no disappointment eather with the taste of the past. The host was just lovely with nothing to much for her, with her poor husband rushing around sweating but still had the time to talk. How this shop is not on great places to visit in Leicester i can only wonder, we are missing this gem

I must say we live about 5 miles away, but this has become our goto place every Friday now.
It's immaculate, extremely clean, so friendly and tasty of course.
Upon my fisrt visit I've felt as if I was dragged back in time few decades.

d.Decided to try this place tonight as we had such a terrible experience of Anstey Chippy. It was easy to find, well presented and had traditional style. Prices were better than the other fish bar in the village as well.
The most important bit is the food though. The chips were cooked in nice fresh oil, the batter was crisp and the fish was tasty. We had cod and chips and it was delicious. Will come back soon.

A. B.If your a fan of traditional fish and chips in served in a traditional way then look no further. This little gem is located on a quiet street but has queues out the door from hungry locals. They serve tasty chips and battered fish without the sloppy greasy taste you get in most main stream chippies. They serve homemade curry sauce and mushy peas and even wrap it all up in newspaper for the real traditional feel. Staff are great and really bring this little establishment to life

G. F.Being partial to a chip-or-two I am happy to report this fried potato emporium is every bit as good as reported by everybody else. Has a feel of popping in to a friendly front parlour whilst being served hot vegetables and tasty piscean treats. Basically, deliciously recommended.

s. m.As the name suggests, a traditional fish and chip shop - complete with the 'family' cooking and serving and all wrapped up in newspaper (and the obligatory plain paper too!). Gets busy and not open long hours so always check before you call by but we'll worth the visit.
