Order came fast and efficiently it was also very nicely packaged. The food came warm and the Chips were crispy and fluffy wish there was more ;) . The two meals we got were the boneless Wings combo bbq(right) this was sticky and was very nice and then chicken tenders combo dynamite (left) good kick and was tasty. The chicken sauces were good and fully of flavour I would definitely would recommend trying this place. It is very filling and tasty. It is also definitely worth the price. I would like to try the nutty hazelnut sauce next :0

Found this hidden gem by reading reviews for the best chicken in Leicester, and it’s absolutely true! I had the chicken tender meal with chilli mango sauce as someone recommended. These were the best I’ve ever had and the sauce was unreal! The Cajun tomato dip was also so good! Worth every penny.

Hot fresh food. Accommodated requests for sauce. It's one of the only places I get delivered that have hot chips. Which clearly shows how they cook to order. Please keep it up ! Chicken is amazing. Love this place.

Love the dynamite tenders, all orders are cooked fresh so u can expect a bit of a wait but definitely worth it. Also the halloumi friez are probably the best I have had anywhere in Leicester!

Not a terrible first time visit. Burn it have to award it a 3 and a half stars if possible. Wings were juicy, flavoursome, well presented but fries were a bit of a let down as they weren't totally fresh or from the same batch, I felt like I was served a mixed load as I got different temperatures and a few being totally cold. Seated area inside could have been kept cleaner and well maintained whilst the service seemed a bit of the slow side. May potentially return again but would have to mention any flaws as my hunger got the better of me and I just needed to eat.

It’s something different The texture of the flavours used on the wings are mouth watering So yes I highly request all individuals that have not invested there time and money into this incredible food deluxe, to simply just go for it! Lastly, to the owners of wing trap, it was better when it was called wing shack. Also the main factor of every shop in the food industry is customer service... .... hence, I would like to thank all staff for there exceptional customer service skills, especially the kind ladies Loll and Arshia, even to the gentlemen jameel and max! These amazing human beings are the main key workers that have been there in the beginnings of wing trap, as a conclusion uplifted the reputation of the restaurant. They should be thanked highly by the owners as they are the foundation of the business!!!!!!

Love the food but often times don’t get my food due to delivery problems and staff often don’t try to help just tell you to contact the delivery company. I mean you pay for your food the restaurant should hold some responsibility that food is delivered.

We’ve all been to generic chicken shops and there’s generally nothing special about them. WingTrapp is different, their wings are all cooked to order, there’s a huge selection of sauces and you’ve got the choice of drums, niblets or the superb boneless wings - imagine diced thigh meat as luxury chicken nuggets and you’re sorted. Sides are fresh and again cooked to order, sweet potato fries are definitely worth picking. The shop in Leicester is consistently clean and bright, menus are clear and the combo deals are great value. Personal favourite toppings include the Thai sticky honey with sesame seeds, a sticky sweet and sharp sauce that your choice of wings are fully coated with, and the dry lemon pepper rub. There’s a good selection of dips too. It’s fast food, but there’s no chicken wings sat under heat lamps in a warmer for hours whatsoever - so at busy times you can wait for 15 minutes while your wings are fresh cooked - but it’s worth it for the freshness. They’re a takeout restaurant that only does one thing - and they do it very, very well. Staff are friendly too and will talk you through the dozen plus toppings and flavours your wings can be tossed in. If I moved 20 miles away I’d still drive all the way here for these, so if you’re in the area, definitely give them a try!

Vegan wings were a let down. Everything else was good. Dynamite sauce must be great so on meat hence the 3 star review. The vegan wings were 1 star and only offered 1 sauce choice. Zero flavour on the wings.. tasted like rolled up carpet I’m sorry. My suggestion is to use tempeh or seitan? Not even sure what I ate.

Hands down by far the best wings you will ever try in your lives you won’t regret it trust me. Personally think it’s silly selling 50p dips that are tiny. if I’m ordering like 12 wings and I get a portion of chips thats tiny doesn’t really make sense. And the normal chips taste horrible. Restaurant relies too much on its chicken sauces everything else is mediocre. Would also recommend getting side salads.

Only two downside are the price (it's not extortionate considering the quality but there are cheaper alternatives) and it would be better if the combo meal deals had more choice of sides instead of just fries, and should include a drink. But I could not fault the chicken and would definitely recommend. Update - dropped a star because in the months since opening the service has gone downhill. First two visits were great but I feel they may have been putting more effort in because it was new. Most recent two visits they had run out of peri peri sauce and also run out of the jumbo wings, and the service time had dramatically increased despite not being busy. The number of staff working was visibly fewer than before. Once you get the food it's still great but comes with a bit too much hassle.

I love wing shack, it's my guilty pleasure. Yummy chicken with about 20 different sauces to try plus chips and dips and a really yummy range of halloumi fries with toppings. It's a must stop after a few drinks or if you want to blow the diet. Can get very busy so waits of over 30 minutes not unusual.

Provides you with gloves to eat if wanted, price of the place and wings is moderate could still be lower since from my experience you don't get what you pay for. Seating is comfortable, the place can get really hot in there when it does get busy on a warmish weather since it does get cramped quite quickly. As the flavours, you do have a vast range of flavours to choose from, with a selection of wings.

The food is pretty damn good. Really really reasonable prices. Highly recommend the Thai sticky honey tendies. Staff are great, and overall the place is well worth the visit. The only thing that gives this place 3/5 instead of 5/5 is the fact that it takes SO DAMN LONG to get your food. One meal at lunch time regularly takes like 20-30 minutes to come out. Could get restaurant food quicker. If they cooked in advance and kept it warm, especially over lunch, the experience would be great.

Pretty decent and definitely worth everyone trying and I will certainly be trying again. The things I think you should know is that the Habanero sauce whilst very hot in my opinion, had a rather unpleasant smell and taste - like curdled milk. I highly recommend the Dynamite sauce. The "Boneless Wings" are just Popcorn Chicken albeit very large pieces. Which brings me on to the size of the Classic Wings - Personally, I found the pieces too big. I would rather have smaller wings but more of them. Early days for them but I think the format has huge potential and I wish them the best of luck!

Honestly, I was a little disappointed with the wings, as they were slightly chewy and some of the meat was still pink. But I'd still like to try their other options and I'm more likely to go for a boneless and skinless option next time. Hi I arrived to Leicester from Sheffield on business about a week ago, it was quite early in the morning so I didn’t think many food places would be opened but alas I found wingshack,as I entered the shop I was greeted by a smiling face. I was asked if I had been here before and when I replied no the female employee began explaining the process and when I was stuck on what flavour to get she began explaining how each flavour tasted and even went as far as to get me tasters for each flavour I asked for which was a lot and never once complained. It was the greatest customer service I’ve ever experienced and the wings can not be beaten I eventually ended up having the sticky bbq but I can’t wait to come back and try some other flavours. I’d just like to say thank you to the female employee who was working if a branch is ever opened in Sheffield I hope to see you there.

Lovely little wing joint!! Portions are huge! Crispy, tender and flavourful. Defo return next time i'm in town. Why 4 star and not 5...... a little cramped in terms of space (not too much at fault of the establishment as they can only do what they can with the venue they have). Drink selection can be increased a little. A place to wash your hands after you've eaten :)

Went in to Wing Shack for the first time last night, Was a very enjoyable experience. Was greeted by a lovely Smiley lady with red hair she was very good and gave us a recommendation of Wings and Nibs and said we should split the sauce she let us try a few different ones and we eventually settled on Chilli and mango and Sticky Honey, The lady recommended the Halloumi overload aswell, The food was absolutely amazing fresh hot so tasty!!! Its a shame there isnt much seating. I will be telling everyone to go there such a positive atmosphere aswell all the staff seemed to have a good rappor. Il be going back!! You need a bigger venue!!

The food is amazing, has unique signature sauces which suits different palates, quantity wise you can’t go wrong, and quality wise either however there are times when the chicken ‘wings’ gets smaller by size and the portions remains the same and feels unfair to pay for what the actual wing sizes, lately this has improved (you can tell I’m a regular customer there) it’s so tasty!

Come here to get the best wings in town. With so many delicious sauces you'll have a problem picking the yummiest flavour of 13 . My personal fav goes to dynamite. A fresh/tangy mayonnaise with a slight kick, its perfect if you cant really handle spicy food. Also the halloumi overload is just the absolute BOMB. A generous portion of halloumi fries coated in a yummy batter topped with yoghurt and mint and tamarind, garnished with corriander and pomegranate... all i have to say is YUM honestly the best halloumi you're going to get. Plus the staff are really friendly and really helpful if you're not sure what to have.

i was down in Leicester and was told about this new place, as a wing fanatic i thought id go have my lunch there, although lunch time was quite busy, i wasn't waiting for more than 10 mins, i ordered the South Carolina sauce and it hit the spot, the dips Cajun tomato dip really complemented my chips, it was big portions and quite reasonable priced too, i am down in Leicester again soon and will most certainly be trying another sauce :) :)
