Little smaller than we thought it would be but pleasantly surprised. Good music and an a comfortable decor and atmosphere. The food was fantastic and served piece by piece giving you enough time to serve up but not too much time so that the servings were cold. Pleasant staff and friendly quick service. Spot on would definitely go again and have already recommend

I went here with colleagues from work. This place offers a Chinese/Thai fusion with a modern twist. Dining area is quite small and they were particularly busy on that day, so there was a bit of human traffic which got them frazzled. Staff were nice, mostly college students. The decor was minimalist/modern. Food was very tasty but not a lot of variety. The menu in house was different from the menu on the website which was pretty disappointing. I understand they offer a buffet styled takeaway service for lunch. All in all good value for money.

My first time coming here, decided to try it out since it was on the tuck. app with cashback. we each went for the 3 plates and a side of the chili salt fries which were delicious and definitely enough for both of us. The mushroom starter was incredible. All menu items were well priced and sounded amazing, will definitely be back to try more

Great food, and really friendly staff. We ordered • chilli chips (right middle dish) • chicken soy noodles (lower left bowl.) • chicken fried rice (left middle bowl) • chicken hakka noodles (top left bowl) • salt and pepper chicken too. It was all so nice, and we did however over-order, they were happy to oblige with my request of having my food in a box for later. Would come here again. Edit: the music was also amazing, I don't normally pay attention to music but myself and my friend loved it.

I ordered spicy rice and chilli tofu stirfry from the a la carte menu, the other diner ordered a box. We both agreed that the food was completely delicious. The dishes tasted fresh and light but very filling, the tofu was beautifully soft with an excellent spicy sweet sauce and there were plenty of lightly cooked fresh veg in the rice. The service was friendly, fast and polite, thanks Tina! Definitely would go here again.

this was my first time at the shop. It was a collection so I was given 10% off for the first time automatically without asking. Chips were really nice and tasty. Felt spicy 🌶 near to end. Amazing place. Firstly the greet we received on entering was super duper, then Tina explained to us how the menu worked. Then the food came there was 4 of us we all had different meals with extras on side. Every meal was fresh and fantastic tasting. Highly recommend a visit to wok Indo.

Mick and Sandra poped into the Wok for a mid day lunch. The staff were very welcoming and polite. First thought’s were how clean and tidy it was. The menu was a little different to what are use to, the staff explained in great detail all the dishes available. We both eat all the food we ordered. The flavours were a super balance. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our first experience here when we visited, for our recent “day-date”! From the moment walking in to the restaurant, we experienced no faults from the friendly and very attentive staff esp Tina, to the very tasty food that was served fresh. We’d opted for the garlic Mogo, 2x (dry and saucy) chicken Manchurians, chilli paneer, veg Hakka noddles and egg fried rice with our soft drinks and all were deliciously perfect, we even had leftovers that we took home and enjoyed later too! From the moment I was introduced to this place it has bene a weekly stop. As a regular traveller, I visit a number of Counties and Cities and am able to checkout a wide range of cuisines. However, from the moment I tried the Chicken and Sweet corn soup at Wokindo through to the Garlic Chilli Chicken as a start it was without question the best Indo Chinese I have visited in the UK. The team are extremely friendly both Tina and Rinku take the time to explain the menu and ensure customer satisfaction to ensure they are able to cater for the customers with the best service. I have been extremely impressed and hope the restaurant is able to keep to such high standards. It is at your high price range compared to other places in Leicester. However, the quality of food make it a worthwhile visit. My weekly visit has allowed me to taste most dishes on the menu as well as hosting team events, dinner with friends and family and everyone has loved it. The eat out scheme is a clear winner for Wokindo. However, I believe with the restaurants own September initiative to continue the 50% off this will help drive things forward even more. Look forward to visiting next week!

Finally found an amazing Indo-Chinese restaurant that reminded us of the delicious indo-chines food we enjoyed growing up in India. Every dish we tried was on the spot in terms of taste and texture. This restaurant is the perfect blend of a pleasant ambience and a taste of street food. Not to forget the friendly staff - One can tell a lot about a place based on the body language of the staff, and everyone we interacted with seem proud and happy working for the restaurant. The place was also extremely clean and hygienic. This will be our go-to place on every visit to Leicester !!

All I can say is that I visited this place with my Work Colleagues and the service and the food was spectacular, the staff were very helpful and were very caring. The menu was presented very nicely and easy to read, they have such a variety of different foods to try some being nice and hot and spicy to the mild and medium. I had loved it all so much I came back the next day with my Partner and even she had enjoyed the food and we have recommended it to the rest of our friends and family.

Came to this lovely fusion restaurant at Highcross to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Great atmosphere, service (thanks Tina), and most importantly..food! The reviewer favorites such as Salt & Pepper prawns as well as the Aubergine fritters were excellent as were pretty much all the dishes we ordered. Will definitely be back again and have no hesitation in recommending it highly!

Wokindo's is a chinese and Indian fusion that is cooked with some very flavoursome results. I've enjoyed my visits there and would recommend it to anyone. Absolutely delicious food. Five stars all the way and highly, highly recommend Wok Indo to all those who love Indo-Chinese food. A group of us 6 vegetarian women went for dinner last night and thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and the ambiance. We were recommended several dishes by the lovely Tina who served us. Tina's recommendations and the number of dishes were absolutely spot on for flavours and portion sizes. We had the delicious aubergine wheels, the lettuce wraps, the veg fried rice, the chilli chips,the Chinese chilli chips and the chilli paneer. I must say everything was cooked to perfection and were all very flavourful. This is by far my favourite restaurant in Leicester and i shall be returning not just for the food but also for the excellent standard of service from Tina and the owner. Thank you!

Several visits now most were at Belgrave Road, I’ve found the food to be consistently faultless and on their move to the Highcross was very pleased to see Tina the helpful and efficient waitress had moved with them along with Rakesh the Chef maintaining the wicked quality. It was okay, but still needs some refinement (tastes a bit cheap and I'm really not sold on the provenance of the chicken). Nice to have an Indo-Chinese option in the city centre, but further afield there are places that do it better (I'm thinking about stalwarts like Indigo, I guess). Finally, plastic cutlery is a big no-no these days, especially for somewhere that's just opened. One to treat as 'work-in-progress' perhaps.

Visited 26/08/2020 Group of four, pre-booked table upon entrance we were kindly asked to sanitise due to current pandemic, we were taken to our table, asked what kind of menu we would like a disposable one or a table menu that was pre sanitised. very polite no rush to order drinks or food. menu selection was fantastic food presentation was perfect and more importantly, the taste of each dish was perfection. Had four dishes; Garlic chicken - tasty Hakka noodles - basic & tomato ketchup flavoured Chilli paneer - ok but unremarkable Veg Manchurian - bland I love Indo-Chinese but have now tried quite a few places in uk and not particularly liked any of them (Fatt Pandit in London is probably the best that I’ve tried thus far). Not sure why it seems so difficult given it’s a staple in India.

The service and the food at Wok Indo were both amazing. We had a party of six plus a baby and the staff were so accommodating of us all. We had plenty of starters... ranging from chicken through to paneer and chips... but the prawns were the absolute best. So succulent and juicy! Tina was great at suggesting combinations of flavours for us to try so we didn't end up with similar dishes. There was a high chair waiting for my daughter when we arrived and they heated both her dinner and milk; nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend this place if you're in the area but fancy something a little bit different to the typical Indian food on offer.

We had a birthday meal there for a large party over the weekend. The staff were extremely accommodating and ever so friendly and always smiling. The food was outstanding and portion size was very good. Really enjoyed the aubergines and bhindi and the lollipop chicken/ salt and chilli chicken went down well too with everyone. Went to this place back in April of this year, as we had been shopping for a forthcoming wedding, we came from Cardiff South Wales, service was good and the food was excellent, but only setback was the price, compared to other really good dinners in Leicester, we found the price of each dish way above than other good diners, hence we haven't been back although we came back to Leicester 3 further times already, our recent venue "was jungle" again good quality tasty food but at the right price, Leicester offers a good variety of diners all with taste and quality but it seems you get the odd diner thinking their food is better than any one else,s so we can charge more, does not warrant in Melton road area.
