Reviews of Gateway Park Brewers Fayre
B. S.
Great service & choice of foods, but found foods went cold quickly, for what little I had
s. w.
We've recently started to visit with our little ones, the play area is lovely and clean.. Dawn is absolutely fantastic with the children, my little girl has really taken to her. So friendly and welcoming, It's lovely to be able to sit down and enjoy a meal 😋
Food has been brilliant value, so far always fresh and hot. We will definitely be returning 😀
N. S.
Blue light discount cannot be used in conjunction with other offers but with the deals that are available it is still really good value for money. Unlimited soft drinks also save money. Staff are always friendly and clear away empty plates promptly. Would definitely recommend for a cheap and cheerful meal👍
M. W.
I took my child there to attend another child's birthday party. The children seemed to be having a good time. I bought a coffee refill and it was a good bargain I'd say. £2.89 for endless go's at the coffee dispenser machine. The birthday package seemed to have come with meals for the children plus they have a small but fun-looking soft play area next to the party room.

My family eat here relatively often and find it to be good value for money. The staff are always helpful and accommodating and the atmosphere is often pleasant. One thing that really put us off on our latest visit was when the Supervisor/Manager (Elaine) came over to our table and badmouthed another member of staff. The girl in question had come over to our table just before we had all finished eating and asked to clear the plates, to which we politely said that we're not quite done. She apologised and rushed back off. When Elaine came to clear our table a few minutes later, she said sorry about her I had to get her doing something instead of just standing around the kitchen. Or something to that affect. It was uncomfortable and embarrassing for our party and ultimately disrespectful to her colleague. Staff "standing around" is a reflection of poor leadership and so is badmouthing them to customers. Very unprofessional and rude. Food was nice though.

Went here for a meal, while the menu isn't as good as some other places the food was spot on. I had steak and asked for it to be cooked medium and it was spot on. A place I would recommend, staff were friendly and more than willing to help .
A. H.
The food here is generally good, but the service is so inconsistent, both front of house and from the kitchen.
Although generally clean, some areas need some TLC, in particular the gents toilets which are in dire need of a makeover.
A generous 3 stars until the service improves and those toilets are sorted.
W. P.
Great place with or without kids.
Nice friendly staff , restaurant always clean and food a very good standard for what you pay. Would recommend highly
K. M.
The staff are friendly and helpful, but sadly the food is going down hill. The portions are getting smaller. I had a mon to sat roast chicken Dinner. The roast mini potatoes were unedible. They were so dry and horrible. We use this restaurant alot but won't be rushing back to eat.
d. w.
I found the food and service very good although it was for an early tea so it was quiet but the food was nice tasting and everything came out as it disliked in the menu unlike a lot of places where they see to replace / swap out items without informing you
P. M.
A really pleasant experience - food is good and always arrives in reasonable time, but the visit is always made pleasurable by Dee, whose fabulous customer service (and amazing memory!) mean Brewers Fayre is our venue of choice for an enjoyable, no-nonsense meal.
D. D.
food was ok but i would not recommend it to anybody. disappointed that the children still had to pay for the play area even though we were eating a meal in the pub.
K. “. D.
Tasty food, friendly staff and very thorough with regards to our specific needs for safe food for our allergic children.
M. C.
Two out of five meals were ok , I had a mixed grill which was served on a stone cold plate which made all the meal cold.
We had young children with us , so didn't have the time to get a fresh / hot meal.
Childrens meals were poor.
S. M.
Called in for Sunday lunch. Wasn't as nice as the brewers fayre in Boston in truth but still a good meal. Staff were polite, and the prices reasonable.
B. W.
Amazing breakfast, friendly staff would defo go back for the breakfast worth the money
T. P.
Great place for decent pub grub. Fast service with polite staff.
L. “. S.
Very friendly and helpful staff and meals were all delicious, we were a table of 9 and all plates were empty at the end of the meal. A little problem with the dessert as it didn't look at all like the picture and I always think you should get what you pay for, but they were swopped for another item with no problems, would highly recommend you try Brewers Fayre you won't be disappointed,
l. b.
Never had a bad meal here, great for the kids, nice and cheap in the week, two for £8, 1200-1700 Mon-Fri. The buffet breakfast is my personal favourite, £7.99 all you can eat and all you can drink tea and coffee, it's on until 1030.
The staff are always attentive and happy to help. 5*
D. A.
Very good food nice staff it was different from what we been before shall certainly go again
J. A.
Nice place to take kiddies with you for a meal. The lentil curry tasted nice but way too many potatoes and little else
K. A.
OMG why are you so far away from us, your food was absolutely excellent, all the staff were pleasant, the only let down was the 25 minutes we waited for kids ice-cream
J. F.
Here for a family get-together, Sunday 19th and all I can say is.......
Fantastic service, fantastic food.
Was served by a miss Santa, who put everything in to make sure we had a good day.
Happy, funny, intensive, waitress, fantastic with the kids, caring and looks like she will make sure everyone is happy which she certainly did.
(We did come last week but wasn't served by miss Santa)
Chef on the carvery was excellent polite and very quick and food was the best we have had a long time since returning here for the past few weeks.
Looking forward to returning in the new year and hope to be served by the chef and waitress.
Happy Christmas and all the best for 2022 to all the staff.
G. N.
Booked table week before..as it was for group of nine....told very busy ..
Time we wanted was not available ..
So booked earlier time no problem...
Drinks and meal ok..all enjoyed it....
But place was empty as we left which was after time we first wanted to book meal....?????
J. M.
We have eaten here many times before. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. We have not had any issues with the food until yesterday. We had fish and chips and the fish was very overcooked (we are also suffering with upset tummies etc too.... ).
T. E.
Called in on the off chance they would have a table.
My friend and I both had a cheeseburger.
Great taste.
Skin on chips were different from plain ones.
Service was quick and the staff was very pleasant.
We will definitely be going again.
L. S.
Enjoyed a well priced meal here. Servers were excellent and the food was pretty good too.
D. H.
Very good value for money always clean and friendly staff stopped for carvery on our home very nice cheers folks
M. W.
Booked for my family for breakfast with santa. Not disappointed. We go every year. The food is excellent and plenty of it. Good variety. Only problem is the toaster. The bread comes out half toasted. It doesn't spoil the breakfast. Good value and children see Santa.
G.
New menu was good although a lot of it was not available but, they at least had the decency to provide a printed list of what was not available on the day. Food was hot although the items that are clearly deep fried were fried just a little too long. Deserts were spot on as well and the sundaes were actually full which is a nice change as most places leave big air gaps.
Drinks prices were very high though. That's my only reason for not giving 5 stars.
B. H.
My family of 10 dined here on 9th Feb to celebrate my daughters birthday, meal was great, but I have to say , Dawn a member of staff was brilliant, she took the orders, served our drinks, main meal and desserts , and she entertained the grandchildren , we had a super experience there and would definitely go again.
j. h.
Very good eaterie, good value for money and a good choices menu 👍 staff are friendly and helpful.
D. O.
Called in on route to Mablethorpe lovely and clean friendly staff great service and food was quick and hot
h. w.
We went as a family to brewers fayre in Lincoln last night, my daughter has ceoliac disease and we find it very difficult going to restaurants and trying to avoid cross contamination. Our waitress last night was a young girl called Holly, she was amazing from the start, she made my daughter feel very comfortable, she filled a form out with my daughter stating which foods on the carvery she would like and this was taken to the chef who then cooked everything separately for my daughter to avoid cross contamination, no question that we asked was too much trouble for her and she gave us a lot of confidence that my daughter was not going to be ill from eating there. It was so nice to not only find a waitress that knew what she was talking about but who made us feel like nothing we asked her was too much trouble.
d. b.
Good choice of breakfast, full English, toast cereals, yoghurt, fruit help yourself & all you can eat & kids eat free..
8.99 ! Like being in a hotel without the poor nights sleep before it!
B. W.
Sunday lunch, food ok service was excellent, lady with silver hair, looked after us was very busy so didn't think the service would be 100% but was.
Play area open kids loved it, only thing is staff don't seem interested in getting involved with kids, just sat behind counter looking bored.
S. E.
We love gatehouse, the staff are really helpful and really like there menu. We go back lots of time. We always recommend them. If we have family staying, we love taking them along. One waitress was very helpful and a great help, her name is Kayleigh. Thanks for everything.
N. L.
Went there 5th April, quite late...hardly any staff on duty but couldnt fault the nice lady with long hair that looked after myself and a friend, great personality, great fun, made the night....food was plentiful and my mixed grill was well cooked and really filling , well worth going to and as i say, the lady made the night
M. G.
Get together last night, 2 staff on very very busy for them but still had table service, excellent 😀
Food was spot on no problems, waitress excellent, bar lady good, could see how clearly how busy they were, smiles all throughout.
Highly recommended 5 stars for everything.
S.
Lovley place to eat for a family. Has a good range of choices on the menu and there is also a soft play area inside for kiddies.
R. M.
A bit busy but it was half term. At the end of the day the food was good and service good. They use to have table service but you have to order at the bar.
E. G.
Great dinner today with a long overdue family get together...the welcome and service from Alan was first class
S. M.
Great value for money lots of choice and brilliant staff
g. m.
Food excellent ,staff great just watch the offers
R. A.
I went for a breakfast and it was an all you can eat buffet style. Unfortunately the bacon becomes dry and hard, which is disappointing.
The place is clean and nicely spaced out. Staff are helpful and polite when you can find them.
S. D.
Absolutely love coming here, really friendly staff, nothing is too much for them to help with.
M. T.
Decent meals, decent price. Quite busy so 30 minute wait for food but was told that when ordering.
T. W.
We had dinner for 3 - it was very good. Terry Ward
S. S.
Service was great food was OK apart from my wife's chicken was still raw in the middle other than that it was OK
R. M.
First Whitbread b-fast since Covid, and after hearing about some of the supplier issues Premier Inn were having, I was expecting some food to be unavailable. However, we were pleasantly surprised! One of the best b-fasts we have had in a long time, food was fresh and well cooked, service was spot on and friendly! Only reason for 4 stars is my wife's coffee was originally bought out in a dirty mug but it was quickly rectified.
A. W.
First class service 👍 safety & hygiene measures in place were second to none. Alan the host and Dawn our server were both welcoming & friendly. We will definitely be returning.
The food was so good too, really tasty and decent size portions.
Absolute top class, thank you
K. J.
Took my grandad for a lovely birthday meal today. He enjoyed every moment. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and tentative as he is disabled and hard of hearing they took the time to make sure he had everything he wanted. The facility was clean and well presented. The food exceeded my expectations, it was delicious! And puddings were also delicious, they let you take it away if you can’t stomach any more food. They also had fantastic 2 meals for £9! Great value for money. Will definitely be returning.
P. S.
Great service, good food but best of all a printed sheet of menu items not available so did not waste time or patience by keep having to re select, times are unprecedented with supply issues but at least they are being upfront, well done.
D. M.
Good food and very polite staff Many thanks
W. W.
All 8 meals were great i had cottage pie. The staff were very friendly & polite. Visit was the 02/12/21
J. L.
Took the children for lunch and play in the play area. Had wonderful meals and a lovely time. Alicia was amazing and couldn't have been more helpful.
S. R.
Went for a birthday meal with family & friends.
Pub was well presented, looking clean with lots of modern touches.
Most importantly, every member of our group enjoyed their meals, they were served by a very positive & welcoming waitress while the lady on the till was very helpful when we asked a couple of questions.
Desserts could of been cheaper but that's the only gripe of what was a pleasant experience.
p. t.
Good for young kids and food not bad for money
T. R.
You get what you pay for in that the food is clearly bought in and never made on site. It's tasty enough though and if you want some quick service and a treat from having to cook for yourself then this place is perfect for families including young children. It has great play area and a cheap menu for children. Sunday carvery is lovely and has the option of beef, gammon or turkey. We go here about once every week cause it's a cheap way to eat out and keeps the kids entertained.
k. s.
Lovely to be able to eat out again. Facilities were good. Staff very friendly. Food fantastic. Play area for children superb.
R. M.
Had a good steak great value for money and you get forces/ veterans discount off the whole bill
And the beers pretty good
Will be back
e. p.
Lovely pub just of the A46 been several times great value decent quality food server "Dee" was lovely especially given the added pressure as of late was nice to be greeted and served in such a friendly manner credit to the company. Really nice meal will certainly be back.
M. T. S.
Dropped in on the way back from the coast, lovely stop in with plenty of parking despite the busy period. We were seated swiftly and were accommodated with a large buggy.
Food was good, the clunk and ale burger was delicious and juicy, I would very much recommend that. The deserts are a little over priced for what they are.
I would recommend having more cashiers open on busy days, as there were only 3 people in the queue and it took over 15 minutes for their order to be taken due to delays. The other 2 cashiers were dealing with I can only assume the most complex complaint of all time.
J. M.
A very good restaurant that is great for adults and children alike. The menu is very good and good value for money. There is a well stocked bar, where you can order drinks and meals. The staff are very good and quite knowledgeable about ingredients in the menu. There is a children's play area which is monitored by a dedicated staff member.
There is ample parking with some disabled parking.
B. W.
Prices were ok but the meal size wasn't great, a good size burger, only a few chips and small blob of coleslaw. Would have been happier with a decent portion of chips.
L. M.
In general it's a good place to go for a meal and has a kids soft play area which is great. You can also sit in the area next to the soft play area to have your meal and keep an eye on those little people. Soft play is also open late pm which is great for the little night owls.
They have a good breakfast selection in the mornings and I've been quite a few times. Always clean and tidy. Disabled access and toilet available. Also has baby change facilities.
The food is ok but fairly basic. Also a bit pricey for what it is hence 4 stars rather than 5. They do have vouchers fairly regularly so we tend to go when we get those.
K. A.
Staff polite and food good.
I like the fact they have a list of unavailable food. Saves getting to the till and shouting back to the table for alternatives.
M. B.
Excellent service from Dee. Enjoyed our meals
L. S.
Good food, friendly staff
K. C.
Me and my son popped in last minute, got there early well 4pm. Ordered food which was definately value for money and we were both shocked how quickly we received it. Cant complain salad was fresh which i always worry about wilted salad on the side of your plate which is no good to anyone but mine was lovely. Pudding was amazing too which we tagged on for 1.99 bargain.
2 meals for 8.99 so wasnt expecting much but was lovely.
D. (.
Generally a nice pub although adults were allowed in the kids climbing frame, 3yr old Grandaughter received accidental kick to head, supervision of that area needs an overhaul.
M. P.
Nice place to eat and 3 storey soft place area for little ones. Went for a children's party today children had a great time. Only down side was the toilets. Water over the floor as there seemed to be a problem with the toilet. Also didn't seem clean and fresh...its a small thing but should be better.
J. L.
Brewers fayre I've felt for quite a few years - have menu prices which aren't exactly competitive and alcoholic beverages which are outrageous.
However!! The staff at this particular location were beyond pleasant.
C. B.
A group of 13 of us ranging from 10 months to 90 were accommodated here at short notice. We booked in the morning for a lunchtime and requested a highchair and to be located near the play equipment to keep an eye on the children. Location of table was perfect and we were all sat at one table. Food was prepared quickly and all came together. Menu had a good variety for adults and children. Didn't feel rushed even after we had finished meals. Play centre up to approximately ten years from tots. Toilet was the only let down as the hand dryers was out of order so paper tissue all over the place. Would recommend for families.
W. N.
Great for a carvery but a great selection of food and the food we had was well cooked and hot, helpful and friendly service. Free top ups on the soda drinks. kids can play in the play zone to burn off some energy. You have the quiet bar area if you just want a drink or the main restaurant.
E. S.
we ordered the festive turkey menu today ..i have to say one of the best meals weve had absolutely delicious ..well worth a visit
K. F.
Great roast dinner but disappointed they don't do fish and chips due to people having allergies? I don't have allergies so what's the problem?
K. H.
Understandably slow as very busy, as it's Bank Holiday and we didn't book. Food is lovely tasting but the Salad portion was small at over £8. Quiet ambience and, if seated away from the play area it was pleasant.
S. B.
Warm welcome, everything explained, all table service, accommodated my stepfather who has very restricted eating due to recovering bowel cancer, our food was nice and topped off with a nice cold San Miguel - thank you
C. “. F.
Only reason I give it 4 stars is that ordered caramel choc a block cadburys Sundae dessert and was just one lump of ice cream most of it was just squirty cream. £4.99 for squirty cream and a few chocs. Service was excellent. Main meal was spot on
A. C.
Hi the food was good value and service was okay...my kids played in softplay there they enjoyed it
I. P.
Good selection of drinks and food, cavery was nice but the beef was grisly good selection of vegetables and as much as you want
S. H.
It's was a pleasure to have been served by lovely staff who couldn't do enough for my group of family nothing was too much trouble
P. W.
Friendly staff, rarely have to wait for a table. Food can sometimes bit a little on the poor side at certain times of the day but generally the majority of the time it is above average. While not fine dining and excellent tasting food, there is plenty of it at reasonable prices. The desserts are a good selection and quality and unlimited soft drinks/tea/coffee make it great for taking your time to eat with three or four inexpensive drinks to wash it all down.
Can be a little noisy with kids due to the family friendly nature but fortunately families with small kids usually get seated near the play area, while mature groups are seated in the other, slightly quieter ends of the building. How lucky you get to sit in a quieter area depends on how busy it is.
Highly recommend it in off-peak times.
N. H.
Came here with my 6 week old and my 2 friends with their children. The staff where very accommodating for me, being coeliac I had to check what I could have from the buffet and check about cross contamination of food, the server checked the allergen menu, checked with the chef and checked with the manager about the food to be sure and the manager arranged for the chef to cook my food to order to ensure everything was ok for me. We all had a great morning with the kids playing in the play area too.
T. C.
Consistent in terms of service and accommodating when making decisions on food. Busy periods are after 5pm and on weekends so if you are looking for a quiet meal avoid these times.
I find brewers fayre a little pricey in terms of food with the lack of any sort of deals available; however the food is often to a good standard. The children's soft play area is extensive and provides a good safe service away from the restaurant however I feel that a nominal charge of £3 per child is expensive considering you are paying for meals aswell. I would like to see one free child's place with every adult meal.
T. E.
Play area is open and my kids loved it.
Came yesterday 24th 4.30pm the lady was on her own she was fantastic with the kids and very talkative, lovely atmosphere.
T. D.
Nice easy-going feel to the place.
S.
Lovley place to go for a pint and meal definitely recommend if fancy poping out and close. Nice little olave and food was nice to. Also a kids play area to.
M. M.
OK food for quick passing snack
B. P.
Very nice place. Staff helpful and food was lovely and hot. Will go again!!
C. S.
Had a lovely meal and the staff were amazing will definitely be going again thank you
J. P.
Lovely food well served for reasonable price. Good Customer Service.
D. K.
Great staff and good hot food
L. C.
Very child friendly, cheap tasty food, great parking and friendly staff, love it here, highly recommended
D. W.
Nice 'chain ' pub-restaurant,
Quality is exactly what is expected.
Soft play area is 'manned' which is a great idea.
W. P.
Lovely place. Clean and friendly. Great for all demographics from children to older people.
A. M.
Visited 10th August. I had Haddock, chips n peas really enjoyed as was pretty hungry. Wife had Gammon with two eggs. She really liked hers too and the food came really quick to the table. Spend just over £16 including a drink each. Better hand dryer required in the toilets
P. G.
Brilliant place to eat, staff are helpful, and assist you in your needs. They run a one-way system. Ordering is easy, food brought to your table and you take the items from the tray.
S. D.
Let me sing the praises of this hidden gem. We only live a five minute walk away, but it took us a while to try the place. Firstly, the food was amazing! Secondly, the manager of this place looks like someone you will find in a five star hotel, treating everyone with the same friendly attitude and courtesy. Honestly, if you want a nice and relaxing time in Lincoln, I would certainly stop here!
T. L.
Good food good prices, clean friendly and welcoming staff the only let down was the lack of knowledge on dietary requirements I was told almost everything is gluten free unfortunately this was not the case, lucky most brewers are relatively the same in menu and I was aware of this, but if I wasn't it would of been a disappointment to hear I can eat almost everything which is not even close to accurate.
R.
Ordered smothered chicken (new york style chicken) it wasnr a huge plate but enough to fill.
Chicken was of good quality. Staff is friendly. Unlimited refil on cocke zero and 7up etc.
Drinks priced well for a family restaurant. Kids loved the play area too. At £3 for hour and half its well worth it
N. S.
Good price - 241. Friendly staff. Lots of healthy options. Parking available. Good Sunday roast on a Sunday. Not a great place to go drinking, drinks aren't cheap! Nice atmosphere and short waiting times for food. Would recommend :-)
A. B.
Great food at a reasonable price - hot breakfast buffet can be a hit or a miss with respect to how much is available at any one time.
The staff have a hard job keeping up with demand versus making too much and having the food go cold.
Always found the staff here friendly and helpful.
D. N.
Went for Boxing Day breakfast. The food was amazing, the staff even better. Having the soft play area meant the whole party of 12 had a fantastic start to our Boxing Day. Thank you.
M. S.
Very nice place food and people love it
N. C.
Good breakfast with family kids eat free with adult paying for breakfast so even bigger breakfast all you can eat as well
A. M.
Go regularly for dinner with a friend. Covid measures feel safe. Staff and the manager, Alan, are very friendly and happy for us to sit and chat until closing time with bottomless Costa coffee!
J. w.
Excellent service, excellent food. Service with a smile. Cannot get enough of the place. Very family friendly too.
M. R.
Had breakfast there this morning. Team nice and friendly.
Cleaner guy had a smell to him but didn't affect my visit.
P. G.
Nice friendly staff, doing a job in the current situation to the best they can. A open way system operator, no kiddys area open yet. Food is up to normal standards. A great meal and will be going there on bank holiday Monday coming, in two days time. The Gateway is just outside of Lincoln in South Hykeham. On A1134 near to A46 Lincoln bypass.
A. S.
Great all you can eat breakfast at a great price. Very happy with my visit there.
S. B.
Called in for a quick bite on the way home .Good selection of meals & drinks . Prices very reasonable and the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Although it has been a while since we have eaten here I am fairly sure our next visit will be close.
K. H.
Excellent friendly staff and good food . It was ideal to take our grandchild who had a play in the children's area . We had Gammon and she had chicken nuggets. Very reasonable price.
P. B.
First time we visited. Suitably impressed. Staff friendly and provided a good service. Liked the deal offer. Would recommend.
K. T.
Great for families. Serves breakfast, lunches and evening meals. A soft play area for children inside. Although separate from the restaurant, it has glass partitioning so you can still watch over the kids. It has outside benches for the summer and a large parking area.
C. S.
My daughter's 3rd birthday party enjoyed by all. food excellent
S. w. a. a. r. G.
visited Lincoln for the Xmas market and stayed in a hotel with no breakfast, this was on the doorstep and it was amazing!! there were 4 adults and 2 kids and we went there for breakfast. The kids were free as kids eat breakfast free up to age 16 which was brilliant, we all had so much food and the selection and choice was excellent. I would recommend this place and would go again
S. L.
We go to Brewers Fayre every week with my wife and sometimes twice. Staff are always kind and helpful. We have been going here for about a year now and there has never been a problem. We once went with 10 family members and everyone had a great time. We always use our loyalty card and once we had built up enough points we had enough to get a free meal! The food is excellent there. Over the years we have tried a lot of places around Lincoln and have stuck with the South Hykeham one. I would and have highly recommend them to anyone.
S. O.
Food was amazing,
Greeted by Alan at the door great welcoming, very accommodating.
We Was served by Dawn who was so kind, funny and friendly
All round great place, good people and good food
E. W.
Food was absolutely lovely with very generous portion sizes and at very reasonable prices. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, and felt very COVID secure with everywhere being cleaned frequently.
S. H.
My Husband and I usually come here to eat for special occasions and we would highly recommend it
N. W.
Excellent as always. Good food, friendly staff, safe and pleasant environment.

Went to celebrate my mums 75th. All four different meals 5* shame about being under staffed
r. j.
Very good place to eat for all ages. Good varied menu with something for everyone. Friendly and polite servers. Duty manager in charge was extremely friendly and helpful. It's become a regular place for us.
P. G.
We are on our way to dine there again to night. Brilliant food served by happy friendly staff. Keeping social distancing and they run a one-way system. No kiddy's area though.
J. M.
Managed to get us in even though they were booked up, food was delicious, and great service.
D. N.
Breakfast £8:95 all you can eat and drink with kids under 16 eat free. No wonder on a Sunday morning it's advisable to book.
Good food and a warm welcome awaits you.
J. B.
Very good me and the wife had the fish and chips upgraded to the large cod , and it was large , always use to upgrade but stopped couple years ago because there was no visible difference, thought today however to try the upgrade again , noticeably larger
D. B.
Excellent service, place clean tables disinfected after use, food hot and plentiful. Prices competitive. Will use again.
M. C.
Brilliant family chain restaurant/pub, the kids indoor play area is brilliant, the do free refills on coffee, so great for work meetings. The food is standard family pub fayre, but good choices and we'll seasoned.
J. D.
Evening meal last night (1st)
Nothing has changed 👍
Restaurant clean
Food was quick and hot
Service from dawn was excellent
Good to be back.
R. J.
I only really go in for breakfast. But a really good price. Kids eat free and that have a play area. Also it's Costa coffee and as much as you can drink. Would defo recommen if you where on a long travel and want to fill your boots. 😁
J. B.
Good quality food and great service, would recommend.
M. N.
Cheap and cheerful. Food was nice for price. Staff were a little unhelpful, seemed like chatting to one another was more important that helping customers. They had a play area which we didn't use but good for kids and family meals
C. K.
Nice food, never had any problems here. Staff are friendly. Large play area makes it a great place for children
S. G.
Went for work Christmas meal, but ordered off the main menu.
As a vegetarian I thought there were very limited dishes to choose from, not even 5 things I would say.
Drinks are free refills and you can choose whatever drink you like out of the machine from coke, lemonade to oasis and ice or no ice.
The meal was ok but nothing amazing. I had the pretend pulled bbq vegetarian mush burger. It was dry as old boots, like nagging on leather tbh. Could really have done with a sauce or something.
Had a desert, the apple pie thing. Quite stodgy but ok for a budget pudding.
Seemed an ok meal nothing too amazing.
Staff were nice and friendly though.
P. R.
Staff are friendly and helpful, food has always been enjoyable. Good play area for children and the children's menu is of a good variety. My grandchildren love going there.
C. M.
Avoided this pub for years after an awful meal BUT things have changed. Good friendly fast service now. Food is spot on for a pub and price. Was seated next to the new monitored play area so we could watch the nippers while we ate. Would recommend.
A. C.
Decent enough breakfast buffet with a range of nice tasting items. Great place to take your kids for a breakfast treat as the play area opens early.
L. N.
Food was lovely. There is a play area that the kids used which was really helpful and they loved it.
T. T.
Popped in with the family for some Sunday lunch, had a lovely meal with very friendly staff. Very busy but worth it.😃
A. H.
Quick service, decent menu, discount vouchers often available with the bonus club, large kids play area available for a small fee, parking can be a bit limited at busy times, bottomless Pepsi and Costa coffee available.
A. A.
Went for Sunday lunch today, we hadn't booked a table but were told by a very pleasant member of staff that if we could be finished by 15.30 we could have a table. This was no problem as it was 13.30. Food was lovely. Will be back!
W. P.
Lovely stuff. Lady looking after us , Denise , was an absolute pleasure with her friendly small talk and attention to details
T. P.
Good meal, went for the chicken burger and found it quite standard. Used a tastecard and it became reasonably priced. If I'd paid full price I would have been quite unhappy.
J. A.
As usual it's a great breakfast. The brewers fayre is usually next to a Premier Inn, this on isn't but they do the same breakfast menu. I do go a few times every year. I would definitely recommend it.
B. D.
Grandsons 2nd birthday. 9 people ate meals. Mine went back ordered festive burger but was over cooked for me couldnt cut with knife and fork to hard . So had a plate of chips instead. Everyone else ate there meals.
R. P.
Staff very friendly and approachable. The food was very nice - overall a pleasant experience 👌
J. C.
Great place not too pricey and varied menu good value kids meals
P. T.
Been going here a lot over the last 2 years as it is just around the corner from where we live, and I can honestly say the food has always been excellent and we have tried everything from breakfast to carvery.
All the staff have been excellent aswell, firstclass and very good value.
W. C.
Not been there for awhile when we got there about 6pm all the tables had reserved on them and was asked if we had booked. Never had to that anyway we got a table. Service and food was good. Will definitely be going again.
A. S.
A very friendly welcome awaits. Food was delicious too. I had thyme chicken. My husband had a mixed grill, cooked to perfection
G.
Good service meals we good. My only issue was the portion size of the 'new' paprika chicken meal. Very tasty but needed more chicken...dissapointed also mayonnaise was catering mayonnaise and was very vinigary. ..
L. B.
Been time and time again, always a decent meal, family travelled over an hour to come and have a meal! Covid safe aswell! Cracking stuff!!!
C. R.
Had a nice meal here and the staff have got there head round the restrictions we had a good time.
s. h.
Certain food is ok. Not worth the full price i would go when they have a offer on definitely. Refillable coffee and fizzy drink are good and they do have a play area for younger kids.
j. h.
Quick friendly service really enjoyed the carvery and a delicious desert for afters,
Table service was outstanding.
T. H.
Lovely food, adequate staff, and potion sizes can be a bit small for the price though depending what you get. Good family place
J. B.
Food ok. Staff ok. Food is a bit pricey 9.99 for carvery with free starter ( tomato soup ) but get a kids for £4.49 it's the same size plate.
C. F.
pleasantly surprised, staff extremely friendly and food very nice, as there were 3 of us they even suggested ordering 4 meals as it is 2 for 1 and sharing the 4th, excellent service.
B. H.
Staff were very good, duty manageress very good, food good and quick, reasonably priced, will visit again.
P. P.
Food was fine for the price, the staff were very friendly and positive, they had however forgotten about our desserts that we ordered, so perhaps there is a problem with the system once you have finished with the main dish.
K. W.
This is a reasonably priced eatery with a set menu. I have visited on a few occasions, and I have found the food OK. It has a good indoor soft play area attached which is good for younger children to enjoy.
g. m.
Good value, food good but could have been warmer so hence only four stars, but there were eleven of us. Very nice & polite staff.
S. B.
Fancied a pre Christmas treat. BOGOF offer too good to miss so a festive burger x2 for the price of 1 was great. Smashing staff and food.
D. P.
lovely place, nice staff, got seated at a table no problem on Saturday afternoon. Food was nice and didn't wait long for it to arrive at our table. Would visit again 👍
B. R.
Disappointed with the buffet counter. Meats were good but vary of vegetables limited. Where are the brussel sprouts and parsnips brewers fare? Toilets unclean and very cold
A. S.
Good staff very helpful also if you need gluten free they will accommodate you
A. H.
Comfortable seating and friendly staff.
S. B.
Meals for adults are ok but they really need to look at the way kids meals are dish out. The one thing that is vey annoying is the sauses in a little bowl. There over filled and ends up all over when young ones try dipping there food in it............
E. L.
Good value food, welcoming, friendly and attentive staff. I had the burrito salad with chicken and really enjoyed it. Would go again when working in the area
L. A.
Stop at Gateway Park on the way to visiting family. Can't fault the food or staff, who was very welcoming.
S. S.
Haven't been here for a while, and today I went with a friend for lunch.. based on what a ate will leave it a while before I return.. I ordered the Gammon which was ok, fried egg ok, peas and chips and pineapple slice really was just ok..
S. C.
Not impressed with the portion sizes
B. M.
Like the place often visit. Menu good choice
B. D.
Lovely meal...nice service...also they respected social distancing by without making it spoil ya experience...well done..
p. z.
Great carvery meal today, friendly staff, clean tables even though it was busey. This place offers an all you can eat meal each nite of the week, well worth a visit
S. T.
Great play area for the kids. Food was fast and tasty. Staff are very friendly. Great value for food. Alcohol is a little pricey.
M. C.
We come here a lot. Does what what it says on the tin, never had a bad experience. I love the mixed grill, the kids love the soft play
M. B.
Very nice place for food and a drink.
The was very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Would go here again.
w. H.
Breakfast was simply amazing.... Quality was superb, hot tasty ingredients with great Vegetarian selection. Kids ate free.... Best Value.
D. E.
Brewer's Fayre on par with Toby .
Biggest problem is same , food can be fresher cooked , replaced more promptly .
Bacon is always done in a mass with some parts over done and some not enough .
A better grade of bacon , done more like Harvester , would be welcome .
But as always , good value overall .
A. B.
Friendly staff . Food was nice and good service through out
L. M.
Very good service and very good food for the price and they are doing 50% off all the way through till end of September.
E. L.
Excellent meal, excellent service, staff very friendly and helpful. Great gluten free menu, plenty of options I chose the curry it was delicious 😋

E. H.
Family friendly pub and restaurant. Quick reasonable quality meals and drinks. Children's play area at a small charge. Ample parking.
L.
Ok food - what you'd expect from a pub chain. Was served hot and fairly quick. Gets busy at lunchtimes and took a while to be seated.
S. D.
Had a lovely meal here for my mums birthday food was hot and came in good time. Great facilities for kids with an inside play area
E.
15 min after order all 5 orders arrived at the same time.. Good job 😀.. Food is quite good for the price though the play area needs to be free.
B. F.
Lovely food much improved menu
R. F.
Good value lunchtime meal deals. Efficient and courteous staff.👍
k. J.
Ovwr all not bad althought the burgers are a little hard a bit over done.. The veg was crunchy but they do have alot of good meals
p. f.
Service with a smile and value that's tough to match. Blue Light and Armed Forces discount available giving a little extra help to those who help us.
C.
Well priced predicable chain experience with friendly staff
L. F.
Nice carvery, kept reminding us that they needed the table in 1.5 hrs time, which we were told when we booked, they brought out desserts and we were still eating are mains .
D. T.
We take out daughter here probably once a month. She lives the play area and the meals are very good.
C. H.
Lovely hot food
r. d.
Absolutely brilliant place to have a meal, staff excellent nothing's ever too much and meals don't take long to come to you when you have ordered
J. C.
Food is always excellent & red hot. Staff could not be more helpful. Really enjoy visiting for lunch
S. B.
We were served quickly and as usual Brewers Fayre food was delicious. We even intend to go back for breakfast as we are staying very close.
S. O.
Yum yum yum, one of our favourite places for breakfast. Eaten here a fair few times and never been disappointed.
a. b.
Food is mediocre, prices high for what you get unless you buy one of their offers. Used to be good. Won't be going back.
A. H.
Had lovely lunch, was very busy but managed to squeeze us in between bookings.Staff always polite and helpful, food good as usual.
v. s.
Just had the ultimate breakfast and OMG it was amazing. Worth the drive here just for that. Great service and fab food would recommend the breakfast for sure.
C. D.
The staff must have been having a bad day. Place was a mess, food just plonked down on the table & no check back to see if everything was OK.
A. S.
Great food at good prices. Plus joined the Club and get emails with offers that reduce the prices even more. Well recommended !
G. C.
Enjoyed my fish, chips & garden peas today. I would recommend it for a traditional British lunch.
s. m.
You get what you pay for with this restaurant. It is one of many in a chain. Members of staff are polite and friendly but there is a lack of cleanliness and professionalism.
A. V.
Fantastic staff. Lovely food and Alan is a very welcoming manager
Thank you
B. W.
Well done staff the meals we're very.good in every way starter main and sweet and served well to every on from slimming world staff.
C. -. (.
Although the staff are friendly and I've no problem with the service, the quality and range of the food has plummeted this year. I used to go regularly but probably won't in future
D. C.
Nice, clean, friendly place. Decent food, served well at a reasonable price. Ample parking. Children friendly.
L. M.

B. C.
Basic chain fayre. Carvery was somewhat dried out. Easy access and parking but nothing special as far as food goes.
D. V.
Food was good and great for 5 to 10 year old, but the soft play area for babies has been removed.
F. M.
First time we have eaten Christmas dinner out- food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. Will book again- thank you.
C. S.

B. P.
Food is good, the place is far too cold, we wanted a table and most were reserved, we sat at a low table and got served our meal, one which came wrong, it was changed and the waitress was very nice BT forgot to give us our cutlery, all the time we were eating there had been dirty plates on our table from the previous customers, which we thought would have been moved..
V. D.
Great food grest deals if you go early but not cheap if you miss the early deals
E. g. c.
Very good restaurant to take Sunday roast with your wife maintaining adult conversation while the children are playing.
Q. M.
It's OK but breakfast buffet is overcooked & 1 toaster to use is crazy for a large place that accommodates many customers!
