Outstanding. Definitely the best BBQ ribs I've ever had. The cocktails were spot on 10/10. And desert was delicious. Staff were funny, friendly and polite. This place deserves an award! And to top it all off the restaurant is stunning and so is the view of the marina. This is a real hidden jem!

Me and my now husband had our wedding reception here 06.10.22 where do I start in writing this review... Fab fab fab from start to finish nothing was too much for them, Marie and Mike where brilliant and kept in touch with me through out the preparation of our wedding and the day went so smoothly it was unreal. The food was excellent and all my guests said that it was beautiful presented and so tasty our thanks to the chef, the staff were brilliant throughout nothing was too much for them so thank you to them. The setting was just perfect. If you are thinking of getting married on a week day and is wanting a reception I would highly recommend Harbour Lights as you will get first class service from start to finish.

Decent place to grab a bite. We tried there 3 course meals and each ordered a drink. My wife had a foxy lady, which is an alcohol free moscow muel and it was very tasty. I ordered the hot chocolate and it was intimidating and delicious after adding some extra sugar it was even better. For appetizers we had bruscheta and soup of the day, cauliflower soup. The bruscheta was tasty and crunchy but had way to many tomatoes. The cauliflower soup was good. For main course we had the sunday roasts, chicken and beef. The chicken was very flavorful and delicious while the potatoes were hard to cut into edible bites and the bread was tasty. The beef was not very flavorful and the potatoes and bread had same issue as the chicken. For dessert we had lemon sorbet and cinnamon and banana cake. The sorbet was very tart, it came with rasberry ice sorbet which was over the top tartness. The cake was delicous and tasty. A good place to eat and relax.

What can I say, probably the best sunday roast we've ever had. I had the top side beef came with roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding and we had the extra cauliflower cheese (best I've ever had) and seasonal vegetables with parsnips too. BEST SCOTCH EGG I'VE EVER TASTED!! Visited here for my brother's birthday, food was incredible (highly recommend the scotch egg if you haven't gathered!) And the surroundings were beautiful. I had mussels for my main which were very tasty. Great wine and the service was brilliant!! Will most definitely be back!

Called for Sunday lunch, reasonable menu two courses for £20 or £24 for three, but additional cost on some meals and extra vegetables. Overall nice setting, staff friendly and good services, not rushed. They have a selection of beers, I had the shipyard. There's plenty of parking and no charge which is nice, only thing I was disappointed in was the vegetables just one bowl between four.

Friendly staff welcomed us to this interesting venue overlooking the marina complex. Plenty of choice on menu catering for all tastes. Prices currently start from £6.50 starters £14.00 main course. Well presented food very tasty. Lovely atmosphere.Highly recommended.

Booked a table for two on Saturday evening. Had a fantastic meal. Slight hiccup with the starter but was sorted quickly. The staff were all lovely and very attentive. If anything they were a bit too efficient! Lol we were in and out in about an hour. The gin menu was great and the gin cocktail was gorgeous. We had goats cheese bonbons for starter's which were lovely. I could have just sat and eaten a massive bowl of those. For mains I had the special cod and chorizo risotto, so tasty and the cod was really fresh. My husband had the ribs, the meat just fell off the bone and the sauce was delicious. The portions were generous and we didn't have room for dessert. Very well decorated and chilled atmosphere, we will definitely be returning.

I was there as they were reopening after Covid. Friendly staff and efficient, very clean and as we were celebrating a birthday they joined in with this is an unobtrusive way which was super. Food was delicious. I had a Moroccan inspired nut roast which I enjoyed (rather a lot on the plate : I was wondering how people managed to eat three courses!) , Interesting views of people pottering around the boats too. All together it was a pleasure to be there.

Lovely place, been here twice in September – only popped in for a drink, enjoying the lovely weather whilst sitting on the decking area looking over the marina. A true holiday feeling! Impressed with their Covid safety plan: Temperature check of all guests entering as well as track and trace in place. Felt safe. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to trying out the food in due course. Thank you!

Visited on Friday 13th to celebrate 10 years as a couple and decided on Harbour Lights after reading others reviews. I'm happy to say that we had a brilliant evening. Venue, staff and food were all first class and I would certainly recommend to family and friends. The setting is beautiful and views of the marina and Foss Dyke made it an ideal setting for a special occasion. Many thanks to all the staff who were attentive without being over the top and got the timing of courses spot on. We will certainly be visiting again.

Lovely restaurant, we had our first visit here. Lots of choice on the menu, food was delicious. Managed a dessert and that was lovely. Facilities very clean. Not particularly child friendly though, no kids menu so my son just had a sausage sandwich but at £8.00 it was a little pricey for a 4 year old's meal. We'll be back though as we really enjoyed our food and beautiful surroundings.

I'm afraid this isnt a positive review, after being given instructions on how to drive up to the restaurant by a staff member that weren't correct, we eventually made it with some difficulty. The lady that greeted us and the waiter that took us to our table were lacking in friendliness and we weren't feeling very welcome initially at all. There wasn't even an apology for the information being wrong, even though she admitted she didn't really know. These things are major for people with mobility issues The floor was very slippery and I struggled to get to the table, the couple that were next shown to a table near us, the lady fell over and they were moved. We opted to not have starters, which the waiter was shocked at and seemed displeased. We went straight for the main course. Only one out of the three meals was enjoyed, two of them were unfortunately mediocre. Now for the plus side, we got a new waitress that was friendly and helpful, our experience changed then as not only did we feel welcome we also had desserts that were lovely and had a great view of the sun setting. The main course that was enjoyed was sea bass. Once a change of staff took place our experience changed, professionalism and friendliness made the final part of our experience totally different, we wouldn't have stayed for dessert if she hadn't arrived. The desserts were yum, I had the millionaires cheesecake and it was beautiful. The setting of the restaurant was great. But if you have a disability, getting from the carpark was a struggle and then a slippery floor added to it made it a nightmare. Apparently there is a way to drive closer, the bollards don't lower as we were told, you have to get out of the car, remove the metal bollards, drive through and then replace the bollards, again not the easiest situation for a wheelchair user Overall I doubt we will be back, which is such a shame as the setting is lovely.

Hi guys went for Sunday Lunch, 1st time, place it self, nice and warm on entering the restaurant, was spoken to by staff straight away, which was good service, decor very good, comfortable seating and clean, also good, staff helpfull and very pleasant, and paid alot of attention to customers, again good service, so now to the meal, prawn cocktail plenty in dish, good size, taste a little watery main was good, veg good, my drink was very week, need to get a better lemonade for the bar, desert was watery as thou frozen pud. Overall a nice experience. but need to watch details. Many thanks.......

Went on a Tuesday for the ‘steak night’ offer. Had two fillet steaks which were both cooked to perfection. The accompanying sauces and sides were all also delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. Safe to say me and my partner had a wonderful evening and we’ll definitely be back in the future!

Love, love, love this place! We first visited for my mum's birthday last November and came back last weekend. Great decor, great staff and fab food. The menu is diverse enough that everyone will find something to eat and the prices aren't stupid. Really love it here and can't recommend it enough.

We went to Harbour Lights yesterday which was the first day opening after the coronavirus lockdown. But you wouldnt have thought it, the staff managed to deal with social isolation very well through one way systems, face masks for servers, limited cross contact etc. The food itself was absolutely spectacular. I started with the scotch egg, followed by the Harbour Lights Burger and sticky toffee pudding to finish. The food was all HOT which is great, sometimes you'll go to a restaurant and the food comes warm meaning you have to eat it quicker to make sure it's hot but this food was hot. The triple cooked chips were quite simply fantastic. The scotch egg was quite sinply one of the greatest things I've ever eaten. The venue was beautifully decorated, very clean and a comfortable temperature. The staff were very friendly and were able to crack a joke or two which was quite refreshing given the stress they must have been under given the first day reopening. I will definitely be going back family and I are hoping to book a table for my Birthday in December.

I went to Harbour Lights on Fathers Day as part of a larger party. I never have huge expectations on busy days such as this, or Valentines etc etc; however myself and the party I was with, had one of the best meals we’ve had for a long time. The service was excellent, and despite how obviously busy the restaurant was, nothing was too much trouble, and there were smiles all round. The food was outstanding, and I have to say, someone in my party claimed that the mashed potatoes was the best they’d ever eaten - and they know their mash!!! The portions, if anything, are slightly too generous, and actually if they have you less, you’d be more inclined to have pudding - I use the word pudding because this is what they are - good old fashioned puddings, not trendy desserts with more dry ice than substance. Harbour Lights is a gem of a place, and is in such a beautiful spot. I, along with my family and friends, will be back soon, and I would imagine will keep going back if this standard is maintained.

Love this place. I will gladly tell all my friends to try the food here. The setting is fantastic, I can only imagine how enjoyable a drink overlooking Burton Waters must be in the summer. We arrived as a party of 17 at 7.30 to dine at 8. Drinks orders were taken as soon as we arrived. Becouse of the party size meals had been pre ordered. 8pm out came the starters, all different but 4 waitresses on our tables so nobody waited. Same thing with mains and sweets. No mistakes. This was a Friday night and the place was buzzing. Parking is a short walk away,but I do not see an issue. Why not 5 stars. No butter with my cheese and biscuits( which were fantastic with grapes ) I could have asked, and we were not offered mustard with the steaks, which were cooked to perfection. Romatic couple or special party, you need to try this place. Booking is a must.

Harbour Lights is Lincoln's best kept secret. It is situated in the beautiful surroundings of Burton Waters, and sits above the water, giving the illusion of being afloat. This floating feeling can be added to by sampling the fantastic cocktails or the amazing selection of Gins - they even have a Gin bible to help you choose! The food is first class, the service is exemplary, the setting is stunning, there's ample free parking, and if you have mobility issues, then there's usually someone on hand to give you a lift from the car park on their very own rickshaw. Children are catered for, but please note, only until 7pm, and then after that, it becomes a sophisticated adult-only venue. Their veranda, that sits around the outside of the main restaurant area, is dog friendly too, with water bowls and fussing from the staff always available. I can't recommend Harbour Lights highly enough.

Lovely meal table booked for 2.30 Sat down at 3.10 we had 2 small children to entertain main meal came at 3. 45 far to long to wait there was no kids starter so they had to sit and wait till we got our mains it was mother's day but even still shouldn't have to wait such a long length of time having said that couldn't fault the food would return again not at a busy time though.
