L. W. (.Really enjoyable visit with great food. I'd avoided so far as I thought it was an overpriced chain chippy, but actually it's a little gem with good food and low prices. We will be back. Only downside is it's cash only but good meal deals and perfectly placed in town for a generous sized meal.
A. W.Excellent moist cod with crispy batter. Chips ok, nice minty mushy peas. Pleasant staff, reasonable value. BUT needs a complete overhaul of decor inside and out so it a) looks like it is open b) looks like a fish and chip shop and c) makes people want to come in and stay awhile. Saturday evening and it's empty, which is a shame as it is in prime location in Lincoln

B.Called in on our way back from Skegness, lovely chips and great fish, can highly recommend. Lady who served us was friendly and polite. Large air conditioned seating area for eating.

Hunters Fish and Chips is incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes the chips come next to raw, that is if you can pay for them. They will turn away customers if they dont have the requisite change, and their card machine sometimes doesnt work either. The closing times seem to be made up on the spot. Ive even been turned away an hour before closing time, presumably because they couldnt warrant cooking more chips.. That is if they even open at all.
I would love to love hunters but they are not reliable enough to gain my full trust as a business. Such a shame as so much potential is lost here.

G.Orderd of just eat tonight never tryed the food here untill today and it was perfect warm and very well cooked the only small issue was my batterd sausage didnt really have alot of batter on but the food was so good that really didnt matter .. the delivery driver was very polite too which is allways an added bones.. would higley recommend and will defernatley be ordering again
