The food at Kine is exceptional and the staff are extremely welcoming and passionate about the menu. As a vegetarian, there's a good selection especially considering the size of the menu. They can also make the veggie items vegan on request which is great! I ordered the Roasted Squash on Arrocina Beans, and it was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Absolutely recommend! I would always say get starters and desserts simply because they're amazing and as soon as you see everyone else with them, you'll get food envy. The drinks/cocktail menu is also fantastic with some really quirky options. It sounds very weird, but try the Pickleback, even if it's just to say you have, but you will probably be surprised at how well it works as a drink. Kine is one of the best places to eat in Lincoln and an absolute must visit!

An elegant and classy restaurant, the food was good from starters to the dessert. My personal favourite bits- 1. Very friendly staff 2. I love how they ferment and pickle everything, and make their own sauces in house. The kitchen team seems very passionate 3. The ambiance was simple yet so creative 4. Having made a prior reservation, they placed a sweet small placard with my name and the time of booking on the table, which gave it a personal touch. The only negative would be that their menu could have more choices. If it had, I would definitely visit more often and be excited to try new things. Nevertheless, I will definitely revisit even just to repeat what I did have because overall it was a pleasant meal and experience.

We were a large party in a cosy restaurant and we were welcomed so warmly, the staff are wonderful and the food was out of this world! A selection of small plates were shared as starters and tasted amazing, whetting our appetites for the glorious burgers to follow!!! Only one dessert was attempted though, we were so full!! That was chocolatey and nutty, delicious!!!! The restaurant was busy, buzzing and relaxing - all at the same time!!! Book it, you won’t be disappointed!!! Well done to all the team!!

A fabulous small independent restaurant. Dined here on our last night in Lincoln and definitely saved the best for last! Starters and mains were delicious, full of flavour and imagination. So me and my partner have been here through the years and know the guys here well. BUT as a vegetarian/vegan over the years but holy heck. the seitan burger is to die for! Big up Jason and the team was blown away! Also try the cauliflower starter it is lovely 👏

Just moved to Lincoln and found this place on Google map. It's a cute quirky Bistro with limited menu, mainly burgers and they were delicious. The size of the burger is perfect as you don't feel stuffed after finishing. The coleslaw on the other hand was very soggy didn't taste of anything. Even though the chicken was good the "spiced" thigh was kind of lost in the honey glaze. The decor was quite nice even though a bit loud as it is a small space. Reservation is a must. Also, They have good selection of craft beers. The prices are bit of a higher but worth it. Will definitely go there again.

Kine is a little restaurant offering really nice food. We've been a few time there and unfortunately the service has always been a little bit slow. However we continue going as the food is really tasty and delirious. The prices are fine for the quality they offer, in our opinion.

A real hidden gem! I was recommended this restaurant by a blogger on Instagram and I am SO glad that we managed to fit dinner here on our trip to Lincoln. The food is exceptional - we had the arancini balls, tempura beans, chicken burger and cheese burger - all were full of flavour and a little bit special. The service was faultless and extremely efficient - the wait staff seemed to take it in turns to rotate round the tables constantly so we were well tended to throughout. They were so welcoming and warm too. Finally, the ambiance is chilled, low key but classy. You need to go!!

Nice atmosphere, music & staff - One with the Mohecan more so. Had been really looking forward to this ...... but Sorry to say it just didn't live up. Lamb flesh was cooked nicely - but the fat not enough (my fav bit) just wasn't crispy - Dissapointing. Of the 6 dishes we had nothing really Wowed us : ( Overall failed to live up to expectation - just overall lacking flavour.

Just had our first meal out since lockdown started, and it was well worth it being at Kine! Shared the buttermilk fried chicken and ham hock & smoked cheese croquettes for a starter, and they were both delicious. Could definitely eat just a portion of the chicken on its own! I had the cheese & bacon burger, and my wife had the charred corn veggie burger. Mine was spot on, a REALLY good burger. Bacon was good and crispy, and good ratio of dressings to burger too. The veggie burger was apparently just the right amount of spicy, my wife described it as "decent, but not anything to write home about". Rosemary salted fries were excellent! We shared the rhubarb cheesecake with candied pistachios, which was more the consistency of a fool, but really delicious. The pistachios were a great addition. The staff were all great, and we felt very well looked after all evening. We'll definitely be back again soon!

Arrived just as the kitchen had closed but staff were more than happy to look after us. Fantastic service and atmosphere. We went for the cheese and bacon burger with a side of fried chicken. The burger was excellent, perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth with a fantastic steak - like taste. The chicken bites were interesting, from what I could tell a sort of shredded fried chicken ball. All in all excellent food, great selection of craft beers.

Although this place has a small menu the food that is on offer is amazing! The whipped feta and beetroot was a massive hit i will definitely be returning just for that the Korean BBQ chicken burger i had was also excellent and rosemary fries so good we ordered extra! Overall very nice decorations, we'll kept and clean inside. The staff were very accommodating and were always smiling and very helpful. The waitress was very good at explaining the vegan meal they were preparing for myself and made extra effort to make sure the starters were prepared vegan and placed at my end of the table. We had a rather large table and the chef did very well to have all the meals ready at the same time without keeping anyone waiting. Although, the burger was a little dry and crumbly, the sauces were really nice and fixed the problem. The house wine was a good price and reasonable quality. I'd definitely reccomend here for an evening meal, all the staff were friendly, accommodating and the food was delicious. Great job guys :)

Just had our first takeaway from Kine and ohmygosh. Burgers were delicious (1 veggie, 1 chicken) the fries were amazing rosemary salted too. I had the rhubarb fool after and it was smooth, creamy and amazing! Best takeout I've had in ages. Simple to order online, really fast response and easy to pick up at allotted time. Fab.

Kine as a restaurant is wonderful - with a lovely atmosphere, attentive service, and plates that are unlike any we've come across in lincoln (and beyond!) - creative and wonderful flavours beautifully presented. But Kine as a takeaway absolutely been the highlight of these long lockdowns - that they have translated their flavours into food which transports well and still blows us away even when devoured from a cardboard box is a true testament to their talent. If you're on a restaurant search, look no further, and you'll never look back.

This place is an absolute gem! Amazing food (try the spicy Chicken burger!), great choice of drinks and a cool vibe to the whole place. They also did a duck egg custard which was to die for. It's a shame it's only open from Thursdays to Sundays but hopefully that will change as it gets more popular. Deserves to be one of the very best places to eat in Lincoln.

Stumbled across this hidden gem today. The place is beautifully presented with lots of original art hung all around. The service was first class friendly. The menu is exciting and changes often. Visiting friends who recently relocated to Lincoln we did our usual scour of the internet for preferable dining options...We stumbled on, Kine. Of all the places we've visited on the advise of other equally unqualified restaurant goers, this was by far our favourite. The food was delicious (from a small menu, prepared fresh, as locally sourced as possible and cooked (from what I could tell) expertly!), the staff were incredibly pleasant and accommodating, plus the decor and general feel was just lovely. Our friends should expect to see a little more of us now! (Can't wait to return, THANK YOU!)

Fantastic Relaxed Restaurant I managed to book a table for two last minute (VERY lucky). Jason (owner) and all the foh staff were incredibly friendly & great hosts. We couldn't choose what to have so we ordered all of the starters. DELICIOUS!!!! Every single one of them was wonderful. My personal faves were the Aranchini & The Hallumi Fries 🤤🤤🤤. Too full for a main we went straight to dessert, the Lemon Meringue was divine but the bourbon banana chocolate pot was to die for. Almost forgot to mention the beer, excellent selection of craft ales, the xxx ipa was a highlight. Oh and any restaurant that has Ram Jam, David Bowie & Prince on the Playlist, is worth a visit for that alone! All in all, a perfect night out. Great food great atmosphere, great people. I can't rate it highly enough. Looking forward to returning in a few weeks to try the updated seasonal menu. 10/10.

On general principle alone Kine deserves a star each for making the menu one page long and for using the correct cheese on their burgers. But this implies the food deserves only three stars which would simply be an injustice. Kine is a burger joint which wants to make great burgers, it succeeds in this admirably by not overcomplicating matters. Less is most definitely more so you get the simple options with a house special for something a little more resplendent. So too we have the small plates, little flashes of brilliance to pique the palate. Unctious bites portioned to leave you wanting more, and not outdo the main event. Bought as a takeaway and will certainly be back. I look forward to dining in.
