Large family run Tapas restaurant at The Lawns. Absolutely stunning visit from start to finish. We've eaten a lot of tapas in our time and this place surpassed anything we've tried in the UK. Large selection of small plates and sides with a specials menu too. Excellent selection of regional beers, wines and spirits including lots of Spanish gins! The food was near perfect with generous portion sizes, we had five plates between 2 and that was plenty! Quick, attentive and polite service, we will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had out. I had my doubts because I’m a vegetarian and tapas always seems like it’s full of meat but their menu is amazing. We had so much food to choose from, everything was full to the brim with flavour and I tried things I had never had before. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented - the garlic dipping sauce for the bread is incredible. The food came quickly, the service was fantastic and friendly, and at the end of the meal we were given complimentary caramel vodka shots which were amazing. 10/10 guys you are amazing

The food was amazing! More than enough. We enjoyed a good selection of different tapas with a lovely sangria and of course a dessert. The vibe of the restaurant is just brilliant- we’ve been treated like VIPs, presumably the owner of the restaurant was incredibly helpful and made sure we were served and feel comfortable. we felt like he’s selling value and quality and rather than just having the usual money making attitude :). You can’t go wrong with this place if you want some authentic, tasty tapas dinner. The value for money is brilliant. Unfortunately we don’t live close enough to visit all the time, but if we find our to Lincoln again we’ll definitely come back!

Having just been to Andalucia we were hesitant to have tapas in the UK. But we were wrong. Great tapas and staff is (mostly) Spanish and great fun. After a day in Lincoln well worth the visit! Nice artwork as well including some Manrique prints.

Absolutely beautiful food! This is my third time eating here and I have tried a variety of food. The staff are kind and very prompt with the food. I highly recommend filling up on the bread as it’s delicious and then getting 4 dishes for two people. I highly recommend. There is a car park at the restaurant too which makes it easy and a short walk to the cathedral.

Delicious restaurant. Churros and the accompanaying chocolate dipping sauce is fantastic. Ordered pan tucamara and was blown away by the flavor. Service was very quick and patient, we had a large party of 32 people and they easily accomadated. Will come back again. 2022 Feb 8 update - servers are still amazing and the food is quick and delicious, wide variety for anyone.

Treated my other half for his birthday here on Sunday. First time visiting and wow we were very impressed. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. It was the best service we had received in a restaurant in years, even though they got really busy they didn’t flop. Food was full of flavour & very generous with portion sizes. Went for a meal with my partner last night and from start to finish, it was just lovely. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by welcoming members of staff. Absolutely fantastic restaurant. It is a lovely family run business where all staff make you feel instantly welcome. The food is always beyond words; authentic, incredible flavours and menus with a wide variety of tapas dishes and new exciting specials available every time I’m there. Went randomly with my husband for dinner when on a trip near Lincoln and had the happiest most heavenly dining experience. The owner and the full staff are so friendly and down to earth, you can actually feel like family and you’re guaranteed to have fun and enjoy the warm merry Mediterranean vibes of this place. The food was so mouth watering, we had tried 4 tapas; steak with blue cheese, patatas bravas, calamari, and paella in addition to the rice pudding and they were all meticulously prepared and served. My favorites were the hot rich flavored steak with blue cheese tapas and the rice pudding that was perfectly granting you the happy sweet dessert experience with an edgy lemon zest kick and a satisfying crunchy caramel outer layer with a pinch of smoky sweet cinnamon sprinkle

Absolutely awesome customer service and good. Ate lunch here between 5 of us after daughters recent graduation. Spent quite a while here, nothing to do with several jugs of sangria, honestly!. Fantastic touches such as a personalised present for graduates, delightful ceramics for sale and just wonderful food.

Great atmosphere and amazing service. We had dinner for two with drinks, tapas and desserts. The size of the tapas is on the small side(think this is implied thou) and you need at least two per person. Desseerts we had were both hommade and were amazing! Service is next level, they will ask you how is the food and if they can help with aomething and are verry attentive. Serving ia so fast that we had our drinks before evwn finiahing the order and that was so inpressive. Deffinetly worth the visit! This was the first time I have visited Ole Ole Tapas Bar and it certainly won't be the last. This is an excellent place to eat and set in a delightful restaurant within the Lawn. The food was plentiful and delicious. The Spanish red wine @13.5% I heartily recommend. Service was quick and served by friendly staff. A nice touch was when the proprietor came to our table to introduce himself and show us round his restaurant. A lovely afternoon.

Wonderful atmosphere and a great selection of dishes on the menu to choose from. We were made to feel welcome and our custom valued from the minute we entered the restaurant. Unfortunately our evening was cut short due to one of our party feeling unwell. The staff couldn't have done more to help my friend and us, including waiting outside for the ambulance. They went above and beyond what was expected and we were all really grateful. Can't wait to return again to this fabulous restaurant, which I highly recommend.

Incredible food, amazing service. We've eaten at Olé Olé a number of times over the years and love it! The service is first class, always friendly and efficient, the prices are reasonable, portion sizes generous and the quality of the food is fantastic. I have my favourites, the steak in blue cheese sauce, the fried calamari and the chicken croquettes but everything else is just as tasty. And if you can't finish what you've ordered you get to take a doggy bag home, what more could you ask for? Perhaps the secret recipe of the awesomely delicious complementary shot of what tastes like sweet liquid sunshine that you get given after an evening meal? I almost forgot to mention the absolutely beautiful smoked olives you can order as a starter. I think I could live on these alone. And the churros in chocolate sauce, mustn't forget them either!

What a fab restaurant. Went as a late anniversary dinner on Friday at 9pm and we can't wait to visit again - going to make a point of bringing friends here as well. All the staff were absolutely lovely having a chat & encouraging my partner to try pronouncing the food names (hilarious) and they were very helpful. The food itself was absolutely spot on, we managed 4 plates between us and they were all gorgeous, plus bread with alioli to die for. The after dinner caramel shot was a nice touch and certainly interesting! And the prices were really good for the food too, all in all just a great experience, great food and we'll be back ASAP. Brilliant first try of Spanish food for my fiancé too.

If you're looking for something different, then give Ole Ole a go. Good sized portions, delicious food, lovely staff, a nice greeting from the owner when you arrive and all this at a sensible price. We celebrated our anniversary at Ole Ole and are very pleased we did.

The experience was a perfect mixture of caring, authentic and precise. Our first visit to the restaurant last week proved just how popular it is. With delightful staff and delicious food it is a pleasure to visit and pleasant dining experience. The options available with accommodations are absolutely great and we were more than impressed at the different dishes we got to try. At one point we even had a chat with a chef about the wine we selected and to top it off the deserts we shared were nothing short of heavenly. As one of the closest spots for food near us I have no doubt it’s going to become a regular favourite.

Large menu and super quick and friendly service but some of our dishes were really not nice. The paella was particularly bad, tasted so fishy and the meat and fish in it not fresh at all. The aubergine was pretty tasteless when you didn't get and overly sweet hit of honey. The calamari was pretty good, but the chorizo in wine, bacon wrapped dates and the blue cheese croquettes were all delicious. We did complain about the paella and it was rectified by taking it off the bill as we'd barely eaten it. Overall OK but this was my third visit (first time in the new venue) and pretty disappointed.

I had completely forgotten how much I love Tapas at Ole Ole. It's just fabulous! We went on a Thursday and it was packed. They didn't turn us away though; they promised they would find us a table, kept us posted on progress, and 20 mins and a fabulous Spanish gin later, we were ordering WAY too much food! There are just so many delicious dishes, we just got carried away and lost count. I can't recommend the fried aubergine with honey and almonds, highly enough. If you think you don't like aubergine, try it! It will change your life! I would also recommend the blue cheese croquettes with quince syrup. Oh and the padron peppers... and the chicken in red wine with chorizo... and the lentils... I could go on and on and on! The atmosphere is superb, the hosts are full of wit and charm (I want to be in their gang but I am nowhere near cool enough), and they all shout 'Ole!' at random moments through the evening. Of course, it might not be random, I just couldn't work out what the link was because of the goldfish bowl of gin I had consumed while waiting for a table. I had no idea what was happening, but it was just fun and funny and full of life. To be honest, I want to live there... or work there... or hide in the toilets so that I can be part of the fun there all the time. It's the best evening out I have had since... well, the last time I went there. If you haven't been, go immediately! Stop reading this review and book a table straight away. Even if you don't like garlic... or restaurants... or food! They will make you feel alive! Oh, and they give you a shot of caramel vodka for free when you pay the bill. What's not to love?

100% Recommend Ole Ole. An absolute gem of a restaurant and their current takeaway option is just as good as the food served in house. I have been a regular customer for a good few years now and the whole experience has been fantastic every single time. Wasn't expecting a great experience as everyone has to wear masks and have as little contact as possible. I was wrong! Wsiting staff and chefs all were operating safely and obiding by all the rules but still managed to be attentive and welcoming we had the lunchtime special and can't fault a single dish they served. There was more than enough for the 2 of us. Everything was freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. I want to thank you for making my wife's birthday special under difficult circumstances and would give more stars if I could. The owners / managers should be proud of their staff and restaurant.

Our first visit to Ole Ole and Luckily we'd booked a table as the restaurant was packed out whenever we passed. The owner and staff were wonderfully friendly and attentive, finding a way to accommodate our friends who joined us at the last minute. We shared a couple of bottles of their delicious Muga Rioja, along with a selection of Tapas choosing 2 or 3 dishes each. The food was wonderful! Not shy on portion sizes, there was plenty to go round, each dish being unique in flavour and presentation. Finishing off with coffees and shots of caramel vodka, we were so settled we forgot the time, yet not once did they attempt to hurry us out. We loved the small and intimate rooms, which held a great atmosphere, having lovely Spanish background music, but not ruining our conversation. The owners should be very proud of their smiley friendly staff, who really knew their stuff when it came to both the drinks and the food. Our whole experience left us with the feeling only received from your typical independent family run restaurant, where passion for good food holds the same importance as profit. It goes without saying that we'd definitely book again! Well done Ole Ole 💃

Utterly brilliant tapas restaurant. Authentic, buzzing with customers (do book) even in the early evening. Every dish was a delight. Absolutely love ole ole. I've been 4 times now. The service is fast, the atmosphere is brilliant (especially outside) and the food is good! What more do you want from a restaurant? My partner and I always order 5 bowls of tapas (and we can eat) and can never eat it all. So don't be fooled by the size. They also give this amazing honey vodka shot after your meal to try. It's so sweet you can't taste the alcohol, it's gorgeous!

Olé Olé is the absolute definition of great Tapas, the food is amazing and the staff are lovely. Their lunch time deal is incredibly good value for money. The restaurant itself has both indoor and outdoor seating, with most of the outdoor seating being shaded during the summer months. I cannot recommend this place enough, the food is absolutely out of this world and you'd be a fool for not going and experiencing it for yourself. A true 5/5 food experience.

Great food. I've been a regular at the old Bailgate premises but visited the new place in The Lawn complex for the first time today. Quite liked the spacious airy feel but also missed the homely compact aspect of the old place. There's loads of seating inside and out now though so the chances of missing out because they're fully booked are much reduced. Went in for a Birthday lunch today - food was superb as usual, the staff cordial and friendly (no faux bon homie a la American style here) which meant a great meal. We went for the lunchtime special, 2 for £19.99. The albondigas were great but my favourite is the slow cooked lentil stews which were as usual - fantastic. We left absolutely stuffed and went home to a good bottle of red and a snooze in front of the snooker - Happy Birthday to me!

I had the Calamares y Gambas Fritas con Patatas. I really enjoyed the meal. The fried food wasn't greasy. The calamaries were in a light crispy batter and soft (not chewy or rubbery).
