B. S.We ordered mixed kebab meat one with fries and one with a pitta and the food was really nice and tasted fresh. We made some requests for no onions in our salad and they were received without complaint. I really enjoyed the food, nicest kebab I've had in a long time. Would definitely recommend, not sure about some of the bad reviews but I really liked the food here.
J. M.Ordered gyros and peri peri chicken from them last night and really enjoyed the food. The gyros especially was delicious! It arrived hot and 20 mins early which was a bonus. Also the driver gave us a bottle of Pepsi which I tried to return as we hadn't ordered it, but he explained that it was on the house as we had ordered over a certain amount. It was nice that I wasn't aware of the offer but they had still honoured it anyway; will certainly reorder when we're in the area!
L. D.Funniest delivery I've ever had! Food was what to expect from a kebab house it was good I enjoyed it chips a bit like card board but that was made up by the delivery driver! He was the funniest and happiest guy I've ever met at 1.30am! Best driver I've ever had I will definitely be ordering again mainly so he can deliver it!
W. H.These poor reviews could so easily be for another restaurant. I made my first visit to Topkapi on Monday night after an epic gym session in search of protein. I'd read reviews that weren't inspiring but the shop looked clean and the fresh shish skewers were chilled and on display, an excellent sign.
My girlfriend and myself chose to eat in, and we were expecting the usual kebab shop "restaurant" service of being handed your kebab in a tray and someone pointing to a seat. Not so at Topkapi.
We gave our very specific orders to a chap who turned out to be the owner - the better half is ALWAYS specific, and it pays to listen - and we were instructed to sit down and that the food would be brought to us.
Everywhere was clean, our food was presented on proper plates, with fresh salad (not the wilted nastiness you so often receive in fast food). Sauces were brought when requested, as was an extra pita and wrap. It really did feel like restaurant service, and the people were courteous and keen to help. Not at any point did you feel like you were being an inconvenience to them.
The food was excellent, portions generous, and Turkish music passable. :)
We will definitely return. Oh, and even though we received table service and didn't pay till the end of our meal it didn't cost a penny more than take-away pricing.
Bargain. You really must visit.
P. P.Great place , late opening times for people who want food after a night out. They provide a great selection of meals, good hygiene rating , friendly staff who are always ready to help.will visit this place again. The food was great with adequate portion for the price. The only downside I see is they don't have any meal deal for vegetarian people out there.
G.Best place in Lincoln for kebabs. I always collect so can't comment on delivery but food is spot on plus they do chicken Donner, something that seems to be getting more and more rare in kebab eateries. Keep up the good work lads.
S. B.Honestly speaking, one of the best take away shop in town if jot the best. The food freshly prepared in front of your eyes and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it
J. B.Topkapi is a great kebab shop with excellent, tasty food, friendly staff and a high level of hygiene. Have eaten here a dozen times with my kids and we love it. It is also a fun, upbeat place great to hang out for a while. In my experience this is the best kebab shop in Lincoln. Love it.
n.I think the food and service is very good nice as a treat too yourself I've never had any issues at all with them maybe the odd time if there running later but you expect that when they are busy apart from that I'm very happy with everything keep up the good work you guys and gals xxx
W. N.Pizza was excellent quality, forgot to add a second pizza to my order by mistake (buy one get one free) spoke to the staff there who were very pleasant and arranged to have the second pizza dropped off at no extra charge, thanks guys! :)
