Staff were nice and helpful. Had to wait a bit to be seated I think mainly because they were short of staff? Food took a while to arrive but food was good at the end. We had Calamari, Salmon Bowl and Half rack ribs. Harvesters is known for the unlimited salad which was great!

First time visiting this Harvester, after a busy day Christmas shopping, we decided to get a quick tea before we headed home, we were greeted quickly and shown to a lovely table overlooking the kitchen, from the get go the service was amazing, all of the team were helpful and friendly. Especially Sarah who was looking after us, she was chatty, informative and very genuine and nothing was too much trouble for her. The food was spot on and we will definitely return in the future. Thank you!!

I've visited The Harvester Aintree on several occasions. It is without doubt the best breakfast I've had since Gary Wilmots wedding. As a Butcher, I can appreciate the value of good bacon sausage and black pudding! Everything here is cooked to order, is very hot and is plentiful too. The highlight of the visit for me is the quality of the surroundings and of the service. A young lady called Amy served me again today. She was super helpful, friendly and nothing was an effort for her. The entire Harvester experience is something I would recommend to anybody looking for good quality freshly cooked food, great surroundings and absolutely the best service you can expect to receive . If you havent been, you really must go.

Are you looking for a restaurant to eat after hours of shopping? We visited Harvester Aintree Park for the first time. Harvester serves a decent lunch menu. We were seated within minutes upon entering the restaurant. Due to COVID19, the salad bar is not self-service. You will need to notify a waiter to serve you at the salad bar. We had a positive experience at this restaurant. The salad bar had a lot of selections, foods were served promptly, and the price was reasonable. The only thing that made us somewhat uncomfortable was, this waiter (Annie) took our plates away angrily, and the utensils almost landed on our arms. But, perhaps, the restaurant was busy or she was experiencing some personal issues. She could be friendlier to the customers.

First time visiting here and really enjoyed it. The food was great and came out quickly. The waitress was really friendly and helpful she kept checking in an seeing if we needed anything which I like. In some places when you want the waitress you have to wave your arms about and wait a while... not here though. All in all we both enjoyed our food and will definitely be coming back.

We went for breakfast and Amy was our waitress. She was excellent, working out for us what the cheapest way to order what we wanted on the menu. My poached eggs were a bit watery, Amy made sure these were changed and although they were then ok, she deducted the price of my breakfast off the bill because of the eggs. She was very smiley and happy and nothing was too much trouble for her.

Our breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented by Gerard the chef,who came to our table to thank us for complimenting him on the food. The front of house staff were very busy but very professional and attentive. You should be rightly proud of your Aintree branch as we enjoyed our visit so much that my wife and I have decided to visit again soon over the Christmas period! Great job team!

The service was excellent! I asked for no guacamole on the burger and as it was brought to the table by the waiter but he noticed it had guacamole on so got the kitchen to make it again. There was a wait as the kitchen was busy. We were offered a free desert for the extra wait. The only things you could improve on is having a station for cutlery or having some on the table and more vegan desert choices.

Had to wait a little while for the rotisserie chicken to finish cooking, as they’d run out. Salad bar isn’t as varied as it used to be but still free so not too bad. Waitress was lovely and apologetic when they didn’t have any peppermint tea.

Called in here on Sunday 3rd July, after being told in another near by establishment that they only had enough food for pre booked. Served by a lovely young man Rory, who appeared to be working very hard , cleaning tables, serving food, brushing floor, serving salad and drinks, and greeting people at the door and showing them to tables, he was extremely polite and well mannered, not often found these days, just thought we would mention this as not many people mention the staff, only the food, which was also very good.

First of all I want to say the staff were great! However the food on this occasion was severely below par, once back to the car stomach started doing somersaults, garlic bread for starter defi wasn't my cup of tea, was very thick with far too much cheese, you could barely tell what it was for my main I ordered the chicken skewers but the chicken felt as though it was slightly undercooked, I ordered it with a side of rice which was very very dry, most of it was inedible, I didn't manage to finish the meal, I have been on other occasions when the food has been better which is why I haven't went lower than 3 stars, it may have just been one of those days and the staff don't deserve anything lower, hopefully if there's a next time it will be better.

Everything else is fine but don't order the nachos. After recently discovering nachos as a starter at The Edge, just past The Windsor pub and absolutely loving them, I thought I'd order some here. Harvester's nachos consist of a load of tortilla chips from a packet with squirty, American cheese that had gathered at the bottom so I didn't find it until later on and, as expected, guacamole and sour cream. Considering it's a restaurant, I just anticipated that the chips wouldn't be packet chips and all in all, they were very disappointing. Also ordered the chicken skewers. The meat was lovely and tender but, once again, the accompanying rice was packet bought, microwave rice and if it wasn’t, it certainly looked and tasted like it. I think they need to up their game. Gordon Ramsey would have a field day in there!

Elle our waitress was so attentive. Nothing was to much trouble. Our youngest Grandaughter has dietary issues so when we asked about puddings she explained in detail. We booked a table for 8pm on Friday the 20th may 2022, the restaurant was not that busy were were led to our table and was asked if we would like a drink these came within 3 minutes very happy, then ordered our food I had the mixed grill and asked for no black pudding but it came with it my partner asked for steak medium rare as did I when we got the meals the steaks were raw, after we asked for pudding and a larger waited for both for almost 15 minutes the only time the staff were fast was when we asked for the bill we have been there twice before and the restaurant was very busy on both times and had no problems with the service apart from this time

We went as a family for my birthday, lovely place, was seated & served right away. Unfortunately when ordering our starters was told they never had what i wanted... so i picked an alternative which was nice, Then the lady came out to us saying half of my main what i ordered they didn't have 🤔 Again they replaced it with somthing else... point being i felt a little bit let down as i did read the reviews before booking & a good few of them said they had the same problem... which is a shame really as the experience on a whole was lovely, the girl who served us was lovely too. I would recommend the harvester as it has a really nice atmosphere, & the portions where ample, one more thing... the gravy was so delish.

Came here for tea with my little family, they were so helpful, heating up a bottle for my baby daughter asking if there's anything we need let them know. The breakfast bar has become very limited, the bottles to pour juice in are quite heavy and awkward so difficult for children or those with disabilities. No option for a clean cup or glass anymore. Went for breakfast, it was satisfactory though the sausages left a bit to be desired. Slow service because they are understaffed. The Red Squirrel used to be our Harvester breakfast choice but they no longer do it so this is now our nearest. Limited disabled parking spaces but the place is accessible. Not a nice cosy pub type environment but a very utilitarian retail store. Not in any great rush to return even though we enjoy Harvester fayre.

They used to offer some great family deals and send promotions out via email. All this seems to be a thing of the past now so i dont go as often. The salad bar is hit and miss, some days it can be kept on top of wereas other days its constantly running out or it looks a mess. Drinks refill machine is great when you got 3 kids. Sadly i dont go as often now as it can be expensive with 5 of us

Here this year too day before refurbishment started, waitress was exceptional, always there but not in the way ,offering alternatives as stock was low due to pending work , tidying, serving, seeing to family of five needs always with a smile , she needs commending for her professionalism , she made a family day out enjoyable with her lovely personality , we were last out too , even though restaurant closed she was still pleasant and courteous .
