Dined at Aintree Tandoori on many occassions, Staff are attentative and the choice of dishes is unbelievable. I can personally recommend for Starters the Mixed kebab and main course the Chicken Tikka Balti with Pilau rice and any of there Naan breads. Needless to say this was washed down with a pint of Draught Cobra lager. Waiting time for each course may be a little longer than normal, but you know that your dish has been freshly prepared. Will be returning back there very soon👍

Boss lovely food. Waiters are just a bit slow and lack being attentive even when they see you calling for there attention. They don't seem to priotise customers in when they come in on arrival.

Excellent food and pleasant staff. We did wait a while for our food, however, it was well worth the wait. The restaurant was very busy, people taking advantage of the government incentive. Staff coped very well with the challenge!

For food 5 stars! But unfortunately our favourite restaurant let us down tonight. The restaurant was absolutely freezing, so cold we could actually see our breath. We've always eaten here as it's so local but unfortunately its always so cold. Our food was even going cold so fast due to the temperature. We were so disappointed as the food is actually amazing! We informed staff but we really didn't notice much difference with the heating actually on as its quite a drafty building too. Such authentic, flavourful food but ruined by the extremely chilly environment ☹

Fri 10th Nov ..We have just had our evening meal. we received a warm welcome and enjoyed our meals the meats were all very tender which is so important with lamb and served really hot! the sauces just to our taste not too hot and not bland with very little visible grease/oil the service was really good ..🏆🏆i will be back

First time visit last night. Fantastic place, thoroughly recommended. - Curry was thick, flavoursome, not oily (no separation at all like you sometimes get - best I've had in a long long time - There was no rushing at all, meal for 4 lasted 3 hours so it was a great night out - Egg Pilau was fantastic Couple of minor improvements : - Drinks service seemed quite slow - Plain nan felt slightly under done - Coke poured from bottle and flat However I'd not let either of these points influence me and I'll be definitely back there again

Popular local restaurant with quick service and decent, if not especially noteworthy food. Whilst the interior is not particularly well lit and decor somewhat idiosyncratic, it is perhaps ideally suited to those wanting a romantic meal out. Note that the advertised deal of 3 courses for £10 on Sunday is rather misleading, since in the sense most people would interpret this only 2 courses (from a fairly limited menu) are actually included, rhe catch being that rice or nan bread counts as one course.

Food was brilliant. However, soft drinks were poured out of a 2ltr bottle so was flat and service was left wanting. Would go back and give it another chance because thebfood was brilliant. Just needs a few tweaks.

Visited Aintree Tandoori , 2 Ormskirk Rd liverpool tonight 6/2/17 with our nephew Robert who was visiting from Ireland :We will certainly be returning again : We had the non vegetarian banquet for 2: fantastic food , great portions , fantastic price ! My wife had Salmon Tikka: and says it was delicious: Staff were friendly , and helpful: we were served by Sabak who was very courteous & responded pleasantly to the many questions asked. If you want great food, great service, in a welcoming atmosphere and pleasant atmosphere you must take a trip there. It is well worth it.
