Akasya is a great introduction to Turkish cuisine and excellent value. A feast for two was ordered for little more than £30 and our drinks were given to us free. The staff were also quite friendly - helpful with ensuring me that food was safe from nut contamination. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone with food allergies and hesitant to try new food. I generally shy away from spicy food, but was glad to find that my chicken breasts were were most delicious and quite tolerable in terms of spice. For those who prefer lots of spice in their food, there are other options including the chicken wings that my friend could attest to. The service was fast as well and came over to ask if everything was alright. It’s these small things that show customers that they care and can help form loyal regulars. It is important for restaurants to ensure their menu offers a wide variety of food suitable for all their customers. I didn’t plan to come here initially. KO Grill was my initial choice, but upon learning that traces of nuts would be inevitable in anything they cooked, we left and went to Akasya where I was delighted to find they could cater for me. For this reason, I commend such establishments for their efforts in inclusive dining.

Our first time here. The staff at the entrance was friendly. Starters were delicious, fresh and the bread married well with the hummus. They do have a lunch deal of £11.95 for two courses. Not valid on Saturday and Bank Holiday. Their portion was generous. They do great coffee as well. The food was mediocre. The lamb shank was not cooked well. It was somewhat chewy, fatty and bland. Mash potatoes were not mashed properly. You can still spot pieces of potatoes. As for the charcoal-grilled lamb, it was better than the lamb shank. However, it was bland.

Both lovers of Turkish cuisine, so spotting this on Bold Street, had to give it a go. The cooking area is immediately to the right as you enter, so easy to miss, which I did, until my better half pointed it out. Décor fairly traditional, and the table we sat at was spotlessly clean. Plus points. The meat (lamb and chicken) was grilled to perfection. Good level of service. Reasonably priced. Efes, one of the best beers on the planet, which also happens to be Turkeys favourite, was available on tap. 👍 Slight minus. I found the humus to be rather bland and the texture wasn't to my taste either. Apart from that, I'll definitely be visiting again.

I have had a good food experience, the grill was amazing but I can't say the same about the rice or the chips ( both didn't taste as good as I was expected, they tasted the same as the precooked once) . All in all good place to eat as long as you accept small compromise with the chips and rice.

Reserved table seated upon arrival staff and service pleasant, restaurant was clean and seating reasonably spaced between customers. Thought the food was pricey, portion was reasonably we ordered mixed for 4 person the selection of meat/chicken was flavored nicely, cooked well and right amount of seasoning. Turkish food in North of England seems pricey then south also in the south of you order a mix grill it includes salads, cold mezzes bread for starters. North Turkish restaurants have long way to before match their southern counter parts in terms of quilaity price etc. I would recommend Akasya but only for special occasions as it too expensive for what's on offer.

It was bang on! 2 course meal £12.95 during the day they have this offer I got the hummus with bread for starters. Then for my main as per picture I got 8 wings with chips. They usually serve with rice but swapped the rice for chips. Am actually trying to find something to complain about but really these guys are bang on with service and everything. Mrs got the Sea Bass which was massive and she struggled to finish it. Complimentary turkish tea aswell after Will defo visit again. It was quiet when I went but it would be interesting to know how these guys cope when its busy? Clean inside and decor was on point

Hi, if you want to eating a delicious food as in Turkey then go to this restaurant. All seats very comfy, the staff very welcome and knows what they are doing, the foods really very WAW(we tried mix grill and Adana Kebab). You can go between 12 to 5pm to have nice discounts in main meal with starter only with £12.95. I tried to find a good Adana Kebab in all North West England, but no way, till I find it in Akasya after 7years, really I recommended for all. And after all they offer free Turkish tea with wonderful free big dishes desert for all of us which we love ❤️ it. Many many many thanks for all the stuff, we'll back soon for sure and special regards to the wonderful shef.

This restruant wad lovely! When we first entered the waitress was so kind and got us selted! After we order drinks, since i cant have alcohol, they brought me a bubble gum slushy, topped with sweets and decarations! Around 5 minutes after orderong starters, They arrived! I got the halloumi fries, and i got was amazing, the main meal they brought bread and a side salad for free, over all it was an amazing restruant, 1000% recommend!

Chose the lunch deal, 2 courses for £11.95. Good variety of dishes food was amazing and fresh, staff are very attentive but don't hound you. Restaurant is spotless, only recommendation would be for them to move the menu display to the other window (kitchen side) as we felt like we were being watched whilst we ate everytime someone looked at the menu. Visited this Turkish restaurant for a family birthday. The food is amazing. The meal in the photo is for 2 people. There's a bit of everything on the plate, lamb ribs, lamb chops chicken wings chicken pieces plus flat bread on the bottom with rice. £31.95. Well worth it. They sell EFES on draught which we drink when we go to Turkey. We booked ahead for 8 people so we had to pay a cash deposit of £5.00 per head. The staff are lovely and they can speak Turkish. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant. Its only been open a few months and its really popular. We will definitely be returning. Update 17.11.21. We said we would return and we did for my husbands birthday. It was much quieter as we visited middle of the week. The staff are outstanding. Their impeccable manners towards customers is star quality. We ordered garlic mushrooms , chicken sizzler and lamb shish kebab the food is so tasty and well cooked. The food came quite quickly as I said the restaurant was quieter than a weekend. I've posted pics of the food and I recommend you try this place. If you like Turkish food and love the Turkish culture, try here you won't be disappointed. We will be returning.

Went for lunch today (13.12.22) at around 3pm. The customer service from staff was exceptional- my dad has a mobility scooter and the lads on shift were so nice and helpful bringing it into the store from him. He struggles to get about and usually doesn’t go out for this reason. Much appreciation for your help, made our day a lot brighter. Food was excellent too. I would dare say that this is the best Turkish restaurant I have ever tried in the UK 🇬🇧 All the meat was really tinder and delicious. The Mezze was perfect. Very friendly staff always with smile on their faces. Everything was great. I recommend it strongly.

I tried lamb chops, chicken salad, humus dish, the plate with different types of meat, and for dessert baclava which was served with delicious ice-cream and strawberries. The food has a special taste, the meat is cooked on the grill and their specially used spices give a special taste to the food. I totally recommend it.

Not my favourite Turkish restaurant. My sea bass was okay , vegetables on the side not cooked properly and without flavour. My partner’s lamb dish was not tasty, mostly chewy meat and the tomato sauce had a weird sour taste. The rice was not good and the small bread croutons were soggy. I do not intend to visit again. Food was absolutely delicious. I actually ate hummus which I normally can't stand. Sharing platter for the starter was huge and plenty for 3 people. Staff are lovely but the service is slow. We visited when it was empty and still had to wait around 30mins for our food to arrive. The Acili Tavuk was flavourful and worth the wait and the accompanying salad was a delight. The lamb was however a disappointment and was very average.

Visited with friends on a Friday evening. Didn't have a booking but we were welcomed. Very good Turkish food. We had a selection of starters; Falafel, feta pastries, saksuka (a salad of tomatoes, onions, aubergine). Basket of bread too. Followed by veggie casserole (guvec), halloumi kebab and kofta meatballs. Served with a lovely fresh salad to share. Staff were efficient. Seemed to be a very family friendly place. I always find Turkish restaurants good value and relaxed... and this one is exactly that...a good addition to Bold Street. Will return.

Me & my partner have been coming here since it opened. I wasn't sure about trying somewhere new as I'd been such a big fan of a different Turkish restaurant for many years. The difference with this place is the staff & that it feels more like an authentic restaurant experience. The food is absolutely beautiful and the service is literally the best we have ever had. The young lad who works there (scouse, skinny, lots of hair 🤣) is an absolute credit to this place. He always takes the time with the customers, remembers your orders from last time and just gives the kind of service that makes us come back time & time again. We tried Iskender but as a Turkish guy, I know what is an iskender and the thing that we ate wasn't it. Don't get me wrong the taste was perfect, but traditional iskender is being done with a meat like doner meat, thin and big slices of lamb and underneath, pide slices and on top of meat, there needs to be yogurt and sauce and lastly heated, liquid butter. And of course this preparation change the taste drastically and selling a plate with a single lamb shish with rice and yogurt doesn't make that meal an iskender. Turkish coffee was also served without its traditional plate and water and the taste was mediocre. But restaurant is a fine place and again, the taste of the meal was nice.

We went for the 2 course lunchtime deal which was a great price. Our meals came with complimentary tasty breads which was a nice touch. This was a game of 2 halves because after having one excellent meal we went back the next day. The first day, the meal and service were second to none which encouraged us to return the next day, which wasn't so good. We were half way through our sharing platter starter when our mains arrived, the waitress the stood there until I explained that we were still eating and to take it back. Needless to say, as soon as our plates were cleared our main meal arrived again. All in all it spoilt our second visit. Not sure why places don't wait until starters are cleared before dishing up mains.

First time trying this place and I actually enjoyed the meal. Decided to go for the mix grill for 2 people and the lamb chops was my favourite as its was amazingly succulent, soft and full of flavour. Most likely will come back for round 2 definitely. Food is good but overpriced for the poor service and cold atmosphere. But has cute spots for selfies. 1.The waiters were useless and just seemed spaced out all the time. We actually had to go over to them several times to get their attention 😂 2. Menus says fresh fruit juices but it was cheap sugary carton juices and if they bring it in a pint glass it’s higher price (£3) than a glass so you need to specify or you’ll get ripped off. 3. Bread potions are tiny.

Picked the Akasya as it was quite close to our hotel and from reading other reviews. Let me tell you we wasn't disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious. Overall I must say I was pretty happy with the food. The service was a bit slow but to be honest it felt more like the staff were undertrained as the restaurant wasn’t very busy. Don’t get me wrong it’s not the waitresses fault, they were lovely and very chatty they’ve just clearly not been taught properly. Food was nice enough but a bit expensive for what it is. I unusually eat the same stuff for about half the price. Not sure I’d come back again as there is plenty of completion around. One of the best Turkish restaurant. Offers halal food. The staff was very friendly and helpful (10/10 for the staff). We started with lentil soup (best lentil soup) and kofta. Then had kebab. Everything we ate was tasty. Loved the Turkish tea with baklawa. Would recommend that you try it if you are in liverpool. I would definitely go back when I am in liverpool next time.
