Going this restaurant on a day visit to New Brighton promenade in Wallasey. Delightful cosy placed with friendly staff. Food was fresh, tasty and presented well. Lucky local people having a nice place in their neighbourhood.

It was a great place with lots of delicious food. It is very near to my university and I like to go there on the weekdays. They also have a space to sit outside too which is best for summer sunshine:) I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

It was our first time at Defne, this restaurant has a lovely friendly atmosphere, there were 5 of us, we had 5 different starters, 4 different mains and 2 different desserts, all of our food was amazing, fresh and hot, the service was great and we will definitely be recommending it to others and returning ourselves. My boyfriend and I came here for our tea tonight, what can I say? This place is a little gem! Michael and Georgiana were amazing, very attentive without being intrusive, the atmosphere is very relaxing, it is spotlessly clean and the food was out of this world, delicious very fresh and extremely tasty. Michael even gave us each a Turkish eye pin... we reccomend Defne 1000%. This is now going to be our Turkish place to go to in the future!!!

Decided to try Defne the first time for our Wedding Anniversary. Service was excellent and the lunch time special ensured that the price was very reasonable. The food was delicious and plentiful but not so much that we were overwhelmed. An excellent experience.

Great food,and exemplary service. Was our first time we visited today but right from when we walked in the door we couldn't have asked for any better service. Good value for money. The portions were big,and tasted great. It became very busy, (every table was taken) during our meal,but the service that we received did not lessen,with staff running around to ensure every person received a high level of service. We will definitely visit again,and would highly recommend.

25th December 2018 Christmas Day. We would like to thank the management and staff for a fabulous Christmas lunch. The Christmas dinner was 100% tasty food cooked to perfection. Our party had both the lamb and turkey which was lovely and very generous portions. We enjoyed our day so much !!!
