J. I.Food and service very good, as per usual. Shame people can't control their children. 4 children allowed to run up and down, ended up smashing a glass. Only then did an adult in the party come to pick the younger one up. The older children should have known better. I felt for the staff. Well done to them for managing to keep waiting on tables

I. H.We have been eating here for over 10 years and never had a bad meal. Staff as friendly as ever. After all the restrictions I had almost forgotten how good it is. It was nice to see some of the regular diners there. Excellent.

l. m.Excellent except for steak dishes like filet steak etc the meat tastes off or even rancid. Maybe they freeze and defrost it to order but the beef or steak really does have a bad taste to it even with a powerful sauce flavour from type of meal you order you can still taste overpowering beef

C. C.This place has been in Formby longer than my family, and we initially moved here in the early 70s. Back then it was situated in the village but is now in a bigger place nesr the station. Loads of parking.
I believe it had issues some time ago with env Health, which can be common in some Chinese restaurants, but now is back to 5 stars.
Personally have never had a bad meal here. Last time we went was Mother's Day andnit was a lot busier than usual. My daughter is Vegetarian and the buffet didnt have much vegetarian food on - she spoke to a waiter who sorted out a plain boiled rice with a Tofu/cashew nut/yellow bean sauce for her at no extra charge, and with no fuss.

B. T.Nice place, very clean but the food that is out in the containers for you to help yourself is barely warm. I did mention this last time we went about 8 months ago and sadly they haven't done anything about it. The only thing that was hot was the sweetcorn soup. Very disappointed.
