The wife and I had an excellent meal at GBK, Liverpool yesterday. Despite being extremely busy , they managed the flow of customers really well, and made room and time for everyone, fair play. We were asked several times how things were, the staff could not do enough for us. Great food, great service, & we'll definitely go again.

Went for a meal here with my friends and my boyfriend and ordered a beef burger that had pulled pork on it, absolutely delicious at the time but i fell ill the next day with food poisoning which i’m convinced i got from this place as it was the only place me and my boyfriend had eaten at where he hadn’t taken a bite or finished off my meal. The food and service where absolutely delicious, was just all bad luck i had fallen ill afterwards

GBK is an old favourite. Used to visit the Birmingham Mailbox one all the time. Liverpool branch is solid. Quick and pleasant to visit. Hei Hei chicken to start is addictive. Moist… so, so very moist 😻 Burgers are all good - love the pano chicken satay. Miss the Camemburger. Skinny fries 😻😻 Dancin’ food.

All the other restaurants were booked and there was a 40 minute wait. We came here as a last resort, but were not disappointed. Friendly staff who made sure everything was ready at the table and showed us how and where to order. The manager was seen on the floor and behind the till helping out. I wish I got his name as he recommended a banana milkshake and it was awesome. I normally don't drink milkshakes but this came with the Christmas burger bundle I ordered so asked for his recommendation. Excellent call. The burger had a nice sauce and was cooked medium rare, like I asked. You could order skinny chips or chunky ones. The skinny ones were a bit too skinny for me and not very enjoyable. The chunky ones were cooked really well. They were fried but hollow and airy. I don't know how else to describe them, but they were nice. As always, prices are relative. Make sure to look at the menu before you go. They also have an app, so download it as you'll collect points for free food. I downloaded mine too late 🤦🏻‍♂️ I give it a four only because they had an offer about lunch burgers being served in 15 minutes or the next one is free. Because it was busy the promotion wasn't running. The waiter told us, and it makes sense, but if someone didn't ask the question, and waited 40 minutes expecting it, it would be frustrating. I'm glad I asked early, but disappointed I couldn't get the offer.

Absolutely lovely place for a bite to eat, burgers are nice and filling and the milkshakes are unreal, the best part about this place is the waiter never got his name but he was wearing a pink and blue flamingo shirt, from the moment we entered to the moment we left he made us feel very welcome and was happy to assist, if you read this well done mate you made my day.

A great place to eat. Prices are on the more expensive side but the quality of the burgers are of an exceptionally high standard. The service is prompt friendly and efficient. The food is fantastic if the good American diner feel is for you. The menu is good and the food is tasty and very well presented. The milk shakes are especially nice with a wide range of flavours. Worth a look as a little break from shopping or as a fun meal on a night out.

The best customer service I have received! The staff here are beyond delightful and genuinely care about you enjoying your meal. I ordered a burger, and even though it came with the sauce I wanted, I didn’t like it and they were more than happy to change it. Aubrey recommended loads of delicious menu items, the new strawberry cheesecake milkshake being our fave. We will definitely be back soon!

Amazing food as always but this time I’m giving 4 stars. Taking out half a star because not only have they removed half their menu, they also didn’t have some of the stuff they were supposed to have because a delivery didn’t come that morning. I’ve worked in restaurants before and you always have a plan B to source your goods without compromising on quality. I’m taking out another half star because they had no drinks for children. They could only offer fizzy drinks which I refuse to give my 4 year old. I will surely return but I’ll be asking many questions at the door next time.

Since moving to Liverpool this is my go to burger joint. The burgers are out of this world, and so are the sides and shakes. They have a new burger special on a regular basis, had have deals including fries and drinks. Alcohol is available, but also do unlimited refill fresh & fizzy's. Also the staff are really attentive and friendly. Can't recommend this place enough!

Let's get straight to the point if you are going to GBK expecting a cheap burger and chips then go to Maccies because this food outlet isn't the cheapest. If you are going to GBK and are looking for quality food and drink then this is a good place to visit. Plenty of offers available and a good variety of burgers available including a vegetarian option. Burgers are cooked medium although they will cook them to your satisfaction. Thick cut skinny or sweet potato fries available. Milkshakes are the best I have tasted.Onion rings are also well worth ordering. So we ordered 2 beef burgers 2 portions of fries a strawberry milkshake and a bottle of diet coke and the cost was £27.It may be pricier than some places but you cant compare the burgers to Maccies or Burger King. The taste and quality of GBK is far superior. A clean restaurant awarded 5* hygiene with friendly staff. Kids menu is also available.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen is, as the name suggests, a high-end burger restaurant. This isn't somewhere you come for cheap fast food, oh no, this is where you come for a real, proper, meal! Great meat, great flavours. The menu includes the standard 'Classic' burger which is exactly what you expect... but there is so, so, much more. There's an Avocado & Bacon Burger, a Camembert, Hash Brown & Truffle Burger and my personal favourite, the Kiwi Burger. This one is New Zealand themed and features beetroot, fried egg and pineapple. Just stunning. The meat, in my experience, has always been excellently cooked. They always get it spot on - not bloody, but not overdone. Just a tad pink, which is how I like it. They also offer vegetarian options, such as Falafel, Bean and also Goats Cheese, Aubergine & Pesto. I believe there is an option to design your own as well, but I haven't done this yet as there's already so many to choose from. The prices aren't cheap, but they're well worth the money. Once you taste it, I doubt you'll grumble. As I said earlier, this isn't a quick snack type of place: this is a Gourmet Burger after all! Gourmet Burger Kitchen is one of my favourite places to eat and I could go back time after time. Excellent food indeed! Try to keep an eye out also, as they often to voucher deals getting you free food.
