If you want fish and chips at a decent price this nose your place. The fish is great and the chips are good too. I haven't tried their other food but it looks good to me.

Busy but better since the new management came in😁 UPDATE 17th September 22, sorry to say but last night's meal of chicken fried rice was just that, very little chicken with lots of cheaper fried rice and a pinch of spring onion, the second meal involved curry, it was too peppery wow it was hot even for me, if I wanted that hot I would have gone next door where they do lovely Indian meals. I had stopped buying meals from them before but I gave them a second chance which is only fair. What a waste, spoiled our saturday evening treat, we threw most of the meals away, would not reccomended or go there again despite being close to my house.

Order Chinese food for delivery recently. Price was slightly in the higher side, but that can be forgiven for the good size portions! Food was very tasty with a generous amount of king prawns in Mt fried rice. Delivery was very quick too. Would highly recommend and will go back again

Used to be a fantastic chips shop but is not as good. I went in last Saturday, my order was not complicated, chips, fish, sausage and a large curry. When I got back to the house no sausage and a red sauce, think it could have been a sweet and sour but not too sure, but very sure it wasn't nice. 12 months ago it would have been a definite 5 stars but not now

Enjoyable food but long wait for quite a simple order . It wasn't that busy . I find the deals on the side misleading , you shouldn't cater your entire marketing to lunchtime trade and it could be more clear that the offer is for lunch.

Good extensive menu, tad overpriced compared to others in area. I hate when you get sweet and sour chicken and it's not been battered. Deyes lane chip shop does not batter their sweet and sour chicken and it tastes so much better when it is in batter and crispy. Portion of chips were very greasy had tip them into kitchen roll to get off excess grease off.

I went about 4 years ago and everything was too greasy and tasteless. Gave it another try recently and I can honestly say that the fish and chips were the best I have tasted in a long time. Well done, i will visit again.
