The restaurant offers great food selections and the steaks are excellent , cooked perfectly with the best produce! The food is delicious adding a fine dining culinary experience and what really makes it a great restaurant are the staff! Particularly Corie, Peter and Eva who are very professional and they have a natural flair with people to make us feel very welcome. Also, these staff members look after us with a genuine interest in ensuring we have the best dining experience. The wine selection is always excellent when recommended by the staff to compliment our food! Overall the people at Macro Pierre White restaurant make it lovely for us and they ensure we have a memorable time. The bar staff Stephen , Joe and Callum look after us for our nightcap and they all provide the best customer service. Thank you team Hotel Indigo and this is our 6th visit since July 2020 and we will be back soon 😁

Visited last Saturday night with friends. Nice greeting from the staff. Wasn't expecting the industrial feel of the restaurant, alot of black and metal, was expecting something more traditional, French, bistro round tables, dimmed lights, romantic music, lots of candles. But that was just my perception, repetitive McDonalds music. Drinks service were very poor. Cocktails were £11 and mine was nothing like the menu. Had to ask and ask and almost beg for another drinks service. The food was nice, I had the ribeye, was nicely presented and a good price for including chips and tomatoes. The side sauces were served in ketchup pots, would have been nice in a small jug. Desert was cheesecake, just ok, looked old, not sure how to explain. Took ages to get the bill, cost nearly £300. Ncp car park across the St was brilliant.

The whole experience was excellent. From when we were seated, the staff were attentive and service was swift but no way did we feel hurried. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and confident to recommend dishes. An all round enjoyable experience.

Having visited this restaurant many times in the past I decided to invite some friends for a special meal. The service was exemplary, the waiter explained the menu to us and offered advice on what to order. 2 of us had the recommended Steaks, and found these to be cooked to perfection… The other 2 decided to choose from the other dishes but felt that the alternatives offered a poor choice. One had a burger and the other had the rack of ribs. The rack of ribs were disappointing in my friend’s opinion and he thought that the ribs were not smoky enough and the sauce was a bit bland and was not sticky enough to adhere to the ribs… in his opinion the sauce that his daughter’s partner makes would be a better accompaniment than the sauce that was on offer. Perhaps there needs to be a review of this dish and the wider menu choices on offer. Overall we enjoyed the evening but perhaps the above needs to be looked at.

Absolutely fantastic, we had 3 courses, the French onion soup, scotch egg, fillet steak and prawns, cheesecake and chocolate mousse. It was all Absolutely gorgeous and well worth the 200 mile round trip from Doncaster to Liverpool. Our waiter Connor was fantastic, we will definitely make the journey again, we were so impressed. The food was amazing and the service was excellent from Corey, the one star that is missing is because we spent 20 minutes going up and down the same road looking for the restaurant, only to find out its inside a hotel called Hotel Indigo . There is a sign but it is really small and easily missed and we only found it because we called the restaurant for directions.

Best steak we've ever had. My partner has told me about the best steak he's ever had in France. However, as I could not bring that to him I brought him to Marco Pierre Whites Steakhouse. Both my partner and I had the fillet steak. Mine was done medium and was amazing, still pink inside, juicy and flavoursome - no need for a sauce. The decor has changed since the photos on Google- it's now blue/brown inside with the perfect lighting, very sophisticated. The service was excellent, everyone was very attentive and respectful. Would love to return and try the other steaks, the whole menu has a great choice. We visited with a reservation at 5pm and service was exceptionally fast. Plus check their social media for deals. Highly recommended.

I ordered... the fillet with king prawns with a side of spinach... I received... the fillet with spinach and mushrooms...and my side of spinach. Waiter wasn't paying much attention...surely he should have questioned the side of spinach with a dish that included a side of spinach? Anyway...he didn't check back at all, and I was hungry so I ate it...but the staff need to be a bit more interested. I don't write bad reviews or give negative scores...but take this on board for future reference. Your prices are the highest of any steakhouse in the city, so there is a high expectation that comes with it. The food was all cooked very nicely though.

Myself and my partner had a great time and a lovely meals which we could not fault in any way. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasing. The staff were excellent especially the waitress( Anya) that looked after all our needs during our meal even presenting myself with desert in the form off a strawberry cheesecake with Happy Birthday written on the plate edge in chocolate sauce(see picture) . Also i would like to mention the manager of the restaurant( Paul) who made sure every thing went to plan and who had a friendly manner to both customers and his staff. I would most definitely go back again and I would recommend the Marco Pierre White to have a lovely meal.

Tuesday 8 August. Nice clean tables. First in the restaurant as it was early evening, but soon filled up to create a nice relaxing atmosphere. Kids usually want to go to pizza parlours, but now grown up, so we can now go to much nicer places to eat. Our first time here, will go back. We had steaks, rib eye & fillet, cooked as we had requested, perfectly done, French onion soup I am told was wonderful, my Wife for the first time didn't need to season it herself. The two men looking after us were wonderful, served our food and once everything was on the table, let us enjoy our meal without fuss, unless needed. Oh and great incidental music in the background.

This is based on my first visit during Covid retractions, a few weeks ago. I was with someone who is not a member of my household and we were given adjacent tables, socially distanced and no closer than two strangers would have been. It worked perfectly and broke no regulations. The meal was an inclusive menu for a very good price, I recall. We were early and the place was very quiet. A very good evening was had. Today I tried to book for the same arrangement but was flatly refused. The fact that I had explained the two of us were not from the same household and, therefore, did not want to sit together but socially distanced was enough for the member of staff simply to refuse the booking. And I thought I was scrupulous about keeping the rules!

Great food but truly unbeatable service. Peter was exceptional - friendly, informative and passionate. I was dining on my own as I was staying in a nearby hotel but it honestly felt like I had company he was so attentive and friendly, a credit to Liverpool. The ribeye steak was fantastic and cooked just as ordered. No complaints.

The rib-eye steak was fantastic but expensive - £86 for 2 rib-eye steaks, pepper sauce & 2 large glasses of house wine. They did not allow the use of the Tastecard to get 2-4-1 on 2 main courses. Instead they want you to buy a main and starter using the Tastecard to get a free starter. This was NOT the way it is advertised on the Tastecard information. Service was slow considering we only ordered 2 steaks.

Just been for afternoon tea and was very disappointed. We had to wait over half an hour, then only served enough cakes for 4 and there was 5 of us. Waited ages for tea to arrive then had to go and ask for it. Tea arrives but no milk. When we asked for extra portion of cakes for 5th person, the scone was rock hard and the knife wouldn’t cut through it. On asking for it to be replaced, we were told it was because they are frozen and it had been defrosted in the oven! All cakes were “shop bought” not home made. Considering how expensive it was, it was very poor quality. The picture shown on the website of the child’s afternoon tea was nothing like the poor selection we got. Would not recommend at all.

Just had a lovely evening in Marco Pierre White food delicious and great value. My only criticism is that in current climate salt and pepper shakers should be removed from table and replaced by sachets as many people maybe touching them and although table staff had face masks some wore them pulled down on the chin or not covering their nose. However everyone is temperature checked on entry and upon arriving there is hand sanitiser. All in all I will definitely be returning.

I think that's all about you need when eating out. As for the décor, it is comfortable and bright...it isn't at all dark or industrial as described, but is perhaps designed to be modern contemporary. Had lunch there last Friday and was not impressed. First impression was dark industrial and felt like walking out but unfortunately stayed. Had fish cakes to start which turned out to be to two small deep fried fish cakes tasting only of potato. Pork belly for main was rubbish, one small half inch slice of undercooked pork belly & one sq inch of burnt crackling. Probably created with a blow torch. Give it a miss.

My wife and I had lunch here recently. Two very pleasant young waiters,one local,the other Spanish. Decor looks a little 1970s but is in good condition. As it’s a steakhouse,we both had steak-in our case ribeye. (Other dishes also available). Absolutely delicious,with triple cooked chips and vine tomatoes. We added our choice of sauce,peppercorn. This was not the thick,glutinous,mass-produced substance some restaurants serve. We also opted for creamed spinach with horse radish-delicious! There’s a range of desserts including cheese. A good choice of wines,many available by the glass,including the excellent Rioja Reserva we both selected. It’s not what we’d call cheap-over £100 for two mains,two sauces,one side dish,one dessert and two glasses of wine. But very enjoyable and I’m sure we’ll go there again.

Nice food and lovely place , service was nowhere near what I expected. the waiter that served us was great Peter was so friendly and down to earth, the manager that took us to our table took our water order and never got it , the manager even walked past our table 3 times with empty starter plates on and glasses and just looked and never took them away, definitely not one I would revisit. We even had our empty bread board on our table throughout our main meal.

Nice chilled out setting, servers really do look after you. Prawn cocktail and ribs starter are absolutely divine and well worth the money, speaking personally you can taste the freshness of the Prawns which I can highly recommend. We had the Fish & Chips as well as Sheperds Pie which in all honesty weren't the best we've ever had but still nice non the least. In all honesty I'd probably try somewhere else before rebooking to eat here again and if I did I would try another of the main options. but that's just more of a personal opinion.
