Lovely big pieces of fish, chips were lovely and fresh. Mushy peas were a nice consistency. The salt and pepper chicken was well worth the price as you got 6/7 big pieces. The chicken Chowmein was lovely too, made with thin noodles, with onions, peppers and bean sprouts that were cooked just right. Really recommend them for taste and freshness, they even threw in a free bottle drink too!

Really billing chippy which we have been going to for years. The food is great especially the Chinese food. They do occasionally miss an odd thing off the order when they are very busy but it is only when they are very busy and if you check your order or call them up they usually have it ready quickly.

Very close to Crosby beach. Choose due to 4.2 Rating here on Google Maps. Not disappointed, both had large fish with small chips in a tray with S&V. Took back to Marine Park in Waterloo and eat them on a shady bench there. So freshly cooked they were still piping hot. Awesome fresh fish, light & crispy batter plus chips that actually tasted of potatoes and not the fat they were cooked in. Chippy was spotlessly clean, really busy but efficient with plenty of polite staff so you weren't waiting long for your order. First class and 5-Stars - highly recommended to anyone with 15-20 mins drive - well worth it 👌🏼👍🏻😀

Brilliant local chippy! Excellent service and food. Had quite a few meals from there from English to Chinese dishes. All spot on and very tasty. You know a chippy is good when theres a queue of people. That being said, service is very, very quick and food is ready quickly too. Gets busy on Friday ans Saturday evenings but thats to be expected. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Kebabs, burgers, english dishes, noodles, chinese food, some thai i think too. Excellent all round!

Bought a Traditional Fish and Chips dinner for me and my Mum . We live 15 mins away. The food was still piping hot. Fish and chips were hot and delicious the best we have had in a long time. Loved the Traditional box they came in. Will definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family .😘❤

Fish is fantastic and easily the best in the local area. Let down by the chips which are so so as they always end up soggy and bland. They could do with being thicker and crisper. Good chinese options and can definitely recommed the chicken chow mein

This was my first visit to Mikes and I have to say I really enjoyed my food. Since moving to Liverpool in May 2016 I have found it hard to find really good tasting chips And finally, I've found some. I stopped off there with my 2 young daughters after going to the Cinema, we all loved the chips and I also tried their Chicken Donor meat and that was also tasty and a big portion, I have to say. I live in the Kensington Area of Liverpool and I will definitely make the 25 minutes drive to go there again. The staff were very friendly and recommended their fish, which I will try on my next visit.

Everything about Mike's is awesome! The perfectly fried fish is my fave, and the spicy marinated chicken kebabs with fresh salad are amazing! Best part is the staff... they are so friendly and efficient . I'm lucky I live down the road

Great food & staff work so hard but seriously need some kind of numbering system for orders on a Friday night as it's chaos - waiting outside in the cold & rain for 15/20 mins is no joke when your food is inside going cold. Says only 4 allowed in but there were about 10 in there.
