M. T.New chippy! Best fish and chips I've had since they used to be wrapped in paper. Cod was "fresh today". Fries were golden, and clearly the fry oil fresh.
I predict a line out the door within a few weeks.
R. S.We arrived just after they had closed for the night. Despite this they let us in, cooked a few portions of chips which were lovely and gave us some pies and curry sauce. Such kind and lovely people.

K. X.I don't normally leave reviews, but this place definitely deserves one! After patiently watching and waiting for the shop be renovated, we couldn't wait to try it out.. who doesn't love traditional fish and chips?! My children love the kids meals, they're fab value for money and you can tell that the food is good quality (i.e. not cheap nuggets etc). I am a very fussy vegetarian and I hate that so many places barely cater for a vegetarian/ vegan menu. I find that the choices are usually very limited, and very over priced. That was until I tried Mushy's.. game changer!!! There are literally too many veggie options, but I'm making my way through trying them all.. my favourites so far are the veggie burgers, and the halloumi. There is also a fab Quorn section, so I feel like I'm not missing out. . I can have Quorn sausage and chips with veggie gravy, also Quorn fish-less fish etc!! Amazing! The staff are knowledgeable in all their produce, and always greet you with a friendly welcome, and everything is reasonably priced! Cannot recommend this place enough! Thanks Mushy's, keep up the fab work x
