Brand new pizza restaurant on Bold Street. We love pizza so we were keen to try it. The music in the background was great, they are right to make that claim. The food was very good, we both enjoyed our pizzas. We liked the build your own pizza idea and £12 is competitive. We also has starters. Unfortunately there was a mix up and they did not arrive, we had to ask after a 30 minute wait. Then the pizzas turned up as our starters had been missed. So we had them all together! Not the worst thing to happen and they did apologise. Perhaps early days for them? Food was very good though so it would not stop us from returning. One other note, the service charge is added to the bill. They claim that the service charge goes to staff as they are a proactive employer. If that is the case well done to them, that alone would make me come back. (Let's put it this way, we visited another well loved Bold Street restaurant restaurant recently where the manager very obviously pocketed our tip when we wanted it to go to the server who had been really nice, we won't be going there again so we'll done Pizza Punks)

10/10 experience. The £12 build your own pizza was the best decision the restaurant ever made. Being able to choose your own toppings was much easier than having to be picky with pre-set options. The in-house made drinks are gorgeous. I had the strawberry Lemonade soda but my only issue was that it had too much crushed ice which made it difficult to drink with a paper straw. Other than that, I'd happily go back here and do the Build Your Own pizza again and to see the lovely staff in the place! Highly recommended! :)

Best Pizza I’ve ever eaten. Was a little burnt on one end but it didn’t undermine the amazing flavour. Service was top quality and it had a lovely atmosphere. Amazing place to go with a group. Friendly staff.

Food and drink were lovely! Really cheap too, visited on a Monday so got the cheap date deal! Our server Levi was amazing! Made us feel so welcome, looking after us really well and made our experience in the restaurant ! Would recommend to anyone.

Ate here with friends. Very casual, efficient food. The food was good, inventive starters, nice pizza bases with lots of choices. Limited veggie pre-designed pizzas, but lots of veggie toppings. Wine was pretty bad, recommend paying more for better wine. Olivia was serving us, she was amazing and really friendly.

Alright like, sat us down and was waiting 20+ mins had to go up and ask one of the staff if they'd come over. Person who eventually served us was lovely but it looked like there was a lot of idle staff members? They'd be better off making sure people were happy before conversing, there were so many dirty tables about the place as well, it was like the one person serving us was doing all the hard work. Food was amazing, can't fault it at all but the service really put a downer on it for me.

First time in the Pizza Punks and I can say me and my friend had a really good experience! Fabolous staff - Levi and Olivia were absolute stars, created friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We went for the vegan option and it was delicious (plus you can get all the toppings in the world 😍). The atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzing, which is what made me stop and consider eating there. Our server Paul was extremely attentive and efficient with a constant smile on his face. Best pizza place ever!! It's very rare to find somewhere that does gluten free pizzas but these guys have smashed it! Food came on time with a large range of drinks! The pizza was the best I’ve ever had, it’s such a great idea for unlimited toppings it made the experience even better! The decor was so unique and a lovely experience. The staff are all very friendly and go out of there was to make sure your having the best time. The cocktails were 10/10, very strong and great price for happy hour! Went on Friday and the service was beautiful. Couldn't have been friendlier. There was a little bit of a wait but that was expected with the bottomless brunch going on and like I said, the servers couldn't have been more attentive and lovely about it. Authentic and tasty pizza in Liverpool! Definitely a must to visit in Liverpool, food was prepared in front of us. Great range of options, you can chose a type of pizza off the menu or make your own with various options of toppings (which we’re all unlimited as well). Only fault was slow service, has to ask to order food and another round of drinks after waiting a little longer than expected. Wouldn’t say it was super busy either so no excuse really!

The pizza was amazing, quick service and lovely staff. Lost a star at the end as for some reason the server didn't give us our bill, just told us how much we owed? I probably could have asked for the bill but dumbly just paid, and looking back at the price I paid since genuinely think I've either been over charged or there was service (which is fine, I'll happily pay service but its still nice to know what you're paying). Had a great experience over than that and good music on the stereo.

Pizza punks had a great atmosphere and fantastic food. Staff was friendly and very helpful got seated very quickly. Just eatten here today. Have the chicken wings and cheese burger pizza. Have to say the chicken wings where perfect, the chicken fell off the bone. The cheese burger pizza has to be the nicest pizza i have ever had and thats saying something with the amount of them i eat. The staff are friendly and perfect, very helpful and will try and do everything for you. Could not recommend this place enough it is amazing.

Absolutely brilliant in every way! Have been to Pizza Punks in Glasgow so knew it was going to be good, but it still exceeded expectations. The food was top notch and up to the usual Pizza Punks amazing standard of best pizza I’ve ever had anywhere. But the Liverpool Pizza Punks have an extra quality and that is their staff. Every one of them was truly brilliant. Polite, funny, genuine characters that really made our time with them feel like we were so welcome. Really can’t fault it in any way.

"What if Brewdog, but for pizza". I'm actually 95% sure that some variation of this phrase was used at some venture capital meeting. It's not bad or anything - the staff are well drilled (the heroic effort of one guy to introduce the phrase "dessert menu" to the bill request was testament to the thoroughness of the training process), it's clean and efficient and the pizza is decent (though there are several better pizzas a short walk away). But all of the above makes a mockery of the branding - there's nothing punk here. It's all marketing, and not particularly convincing marketing. Think inoffensive office party rather than overthrowing the system.

Pizza was amazing, great prices and put as many toppings as possible. We waited over an hour for the food and it was not that busy. Server apologised for wait but would have been nice if they updated during the wait or offered a drink or discount. Will be back as food was spot on

Decided to try this place out as I got recommended it by friends, and absolutely love everything about it. We ordered four portions of pasta with all of the vegan toppings and it tasted absolutely incredible. Unlike any other vegan pasta we've had while eating out. We were served by Leah who was a wonderful host and looked after us really well by sorting out any issues we had straight away without hesitation. Some things I'd suggest: -Adding some soft furnishings, the music was at an okay volume but the ambient noise came to the point where you had to shout over everyone. Having things like cushions on the benches or additional decorations would help absorb all of that noise. -A suggestion for the serving of the food. As you build your own meal it makes it hard for the staff serving when you all order similar things. For example, we all had the same pasta type but with slight variations in toppings. A good idea would be when ordering each person has a number they place their order against so when the food arrives you can say "I have pasta for number 3" instead of trying to look at the pasta and determine what's in it. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I'm really looking forward to trying the pizza next time.

It's a real shame, I really wanted to like this place. Have visited twice, just in case the first visit was an off-day. Food has been good on both visits, and drink selection and quality is good. On both visits though, the service has really let down the experience with long gaps in service and struggling to pay the bill at the end. The pizza is good, and this place could be great if the service was a bit better.

Pizza was really tasty, with a nice crust and a great selection of toppings. It seems they make up for the relatively low cost of the pizzas with expensive soft drinks (£3.50 for a pint of Pepsi Max), and the dips, which are tiny. However, if you take that into account, and the fact the pizzas are not expensive, it's still good value. My only criticism really is that I don't think they have the staffing levels right, yet, as the place was too busy for the people they had on, and you have to wait around a lot, and also re-ask for things you've requested. That's just a management issue, though, and I'm certain will get resolved over time.

Went for the first time and the staff were very nice and helpful. I had Linguine with beef and my partner had nduja pizza. My meal was ok however it'll be nice to get offered some cheese to give it more flavour and also partner wasn't a fan of pizza and said it was quite sweet. The price is reasonable.

Great food let down by too few staff on shift and loud music making it difficult to talk over. Food pricing is very reasonable (£12 for as many toppings as you like pizza!) but alcoholic drinks are expensive, don't think £5 for a can of Beaverton is reasonable at all. I love Pizza Punks and it is well worth a visit if you like good pizza or pasta (the Mac and Cheese is amazing). I first came across them in Leeds and have been excited to visit the Liverpool restaurant since in opened. The food was as expected and very tasty however the whole experience was a little bit of a let down. The restaurant was totally understaffed for how busy it was. I saw 3 servers who were taking orders, making drinks and delivery the food. This made it very hard to get their attention as they were rushed off their feet with a long waits between being seated, taking our orders and bringing the drinks. The other issue was the music was over the top loud for a restaurant making it difficult to have a conversation even though we were sat next to each other. Due to how good the food was I'll be coming back and hoping the service and atmosphere was a one off, the Leeds restaurant was a lot better experience as a whole which is a shame as have I mentioned how good the food is!
