Recently moved into the area and glad to say we have found our favourite Indian restaurant ,I can be a bit picky when it comes to good Indian cooking but everything was delicious, and a lovely mix of starter's and mains not just all the standard stuff on pretty much all menu's. This review relates to the takeaway service. Absolutely tremendous Indian food with the added benefit of 20% off orders over £20 when you collect. Recommend ordering the food with a waiting time of about 30-40 minutes. Can't praise it highly enough 🙂

Stumbled upon this place and gave it a go. What a find! The food was perfection - fresh, ungreasy and packed with taste. The hosts were very friendly and we rated this as one of the best Indian/Nepalese meals we had ever had. And that is no exaggeration! My go-to restaurant in the North Liverpool area.

Gang of us meet here about once a month. The food is always fantastic. Never had a complaint about a single dish in there. Being vegetarian there's also plenty of choice on offer, plenty of regional dishes to choose from. The staff always look after you really well. Support your local businesses and help them survive!

Would definitely recommend! Consistently amazing food, a brilliant experience every time we have had takeaway, delivery, or eaten in. I even broke down outside one time and went in to seek warmth, they were so kind and even gave me some free bhajis whilst I waited for the breakdown guy.

I am from America and this was one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in liverpool. I dream about the Lamb dumplings (I hope that is what they are called) and the dipping curry is amazing. I could drink it like water. This is a must visit if you are in the mood for Indian.

Ordered a takeaway this evening for 7.30 pm. It arrived exactly on time. The food was first class and was the first food we have not cooked ourselves for 50 days since the lock down began! It was well worth waiting for. It was delivered by a delightful, pleasant young lady. I'm sure it won't be long before we will be seeing her again!!

Great food and catered for my Ceoliac disease (gluten allergy). Knew about cross contamination and although Pakoras were made with gram flour they were cooked in the oil that wheat products were cooked in. Food was amazing and so good. Had a fantastic meal. Loved it.

i have only had takeaway from here so far and can truly say this is possibly the best indian style restaurant i have ordered from, having had plenty of indian food in the past. every meal has been fantastic, with just the right amount of spice, packed with flavor and the meat in the dishes is super quality, especially the lamb. the Nepalese dishes are a great change from the norm as well. i will be dining in here soon. by far the best curry house in the area.

The Saffron restaurant is often fairly quiet but they do supply a lot of take aways. I've eaten here many times and it provides good food on a consistent basis. It is Indian but also serves a few Nepalese dishes as well. Not every dish is great: for instance the biryani is rather ordinary as indeed is the basic pilau rice. But the naan bread is one of the best and most dishes are of good quality. So is the service.
