What better words are there to express this place other than Amazing! Fabulous food, cooked perfectly almost every time. The Atmosphere is incredible with the staff constantly making sure you're topped up on delicious meats. You most certainly get your money's worth when you visit Smoke & Dough. Dropping down 1 star due to the steak being raw when I asked for extra, but other than that I'll definitely be making a return again soon.

£20.99 for everything on the platter and you can get more if you want to - lamb, pork belly, beef, sausages and chicken. Was really filling and was shared between 4 people. They give you garlic bread with some sauce which you can order more if you want. If you are in a group but you tend to eat a lot, it might not fill you too much, so might need to order more. Staff were nice and always checking on us. Would have liked to have some salad on the side but unfortunately you need to pay for the sides.

Lovely place. My first time visiting and couldn't of asked for better food. We got the anytime menu and a few sides and it was all delicious and so fresh. We went at 4.30pm on a Friday and it was nice and calm which is what we prefer.

Absolutely incredible food! We left stuffed.The meat was so succulent and the sides were so reasonable in price but excellent in size and the garlicngreen beans are to die for. The front of house staff were so friendly, they were accommodating to my additional needs and put me close to the disabled toilet. I have nothing bad to say about this place except I wish there were more of them around.

Honestly this place is amazing, the staff are really friendly and attentive without making you feel like they're hovering around you, the all you can eat menu is gorgeous, me and my partner went for the first menu option and we loved it, the whole idea of your food arriving on its own grill is really appealing and as for price really not that expensive considering what you get. Oh and the Smoke and Dough cocktail is fantastic. In short Smoke and dough can be summed up as; Great food Great Atmosphere Great Value Great Staff Great Style 5 out of 5 stars and will definitely be coming back.

It was a bit expensive, £20 each (without drinks or sides) but it was worth every penny. The meat was delicious, perfectly cook and seasoned. The bread and sauces were proper nice. The fizzy drink was bigger than I expected. Our waitress (Julienne I think it was her name) was very nice and polite. It’s not a place to go often because of the price but definitely a good choice for a special day.

All you can eat meat with a choice of extra sides at additional cost. The menu does mention but beware there is a 10% service charge added onto the bill once finished. Good food and very quick service, and polite staff. 4/5 as it's quite expensive after sides, drinks and the service fee.

Excellent food and fantastic service! We were seated quickly, food was plentiful and delicious, our grill was replenished three times and staff were very attentive. Orla and her colleagues made our time really enjoyable- they even gathered to sing a birthday song to my daughter (with a lovely cake from the restaurant). Highly recommended!

3,5 stars would be my accurate rating! Place looks nice and it's big, staff was good. The starters with the bread they are ok, nothing that will blow your mind, but not bad either. Meat, some different qualities there. The beer skewer was really chewy, I couldn't have it. Chicken was ok and some of the pork was really nice. Chips were fine and cheap! Dessert nice. I enjoyed my meal here but I don't think it's the most amazing quality out there, but quite decent.

Do not over load on the bread🤣 First time visiting & we was impressed. We arrived on a Saturday evening so was super busy, and had not booked -20 minute wait for table but we was seated within 5 minutes, which was fab! Our waitress was abit miserable. We wasn't aware of the concept at the start, and this seemed to annoy her. Would have liked the steak to have been cooked though. We wasn't asked how we wanted it cooked which was disappointing. We had 2 sides each(4 of us) and did not need all of them. Feel the price on a Saturday per person to NOT include sides is a little steep. Even if it included the fries, would have thought was more worth it.

Visited for dinner during our recent trip to Liverpool. Service was great along with the experience of this type of restaurant. Good quality food with nice cocktails selection. Staff very good throughout our meal. One of our table had already eaten and we’re not charged which was appreciated. Would fully recommend

Staff were attentive and helpful, starters of dips and bread could gave been improved if a better quality bread / rolls had been used as brioche buns (cut in half) didn't really hit the spot and were soggy, barbecued food was tasty and the meat was plentiful. Alcoholic drinks were good quality and we enjoyed the bucket of mojo. Just watch how you go on the way to toilet as the passage was especially slippy with grease, I did tell them but the guy I spoke to denied it was slippy and said his shoes were fine on the floor. I had boots with a rubber sole so I managed to stay upright. Bins in disabled toilet was disgusting and filled with nappies, they were overflowing with rubbish and smelt.

Went for first time yesterday (11/12/21) the service was impeccable, and the food was better than my expectation. Not really much of a meat lover but it was amazing and will be going again. Was also impressed that there was more than enough staff especially for a busy place and they go out their way to help, especially as deaf customers :-)

Visited this restaurant for the first time today. Flew over from Denmark especially to eat here as I have heard a lot of great things about the food and the service. I was not disappointed with either. Under the expert guidance of our hardworking server Hannah, I opted for the a la carte menu as I thought the buffet option would be too much food for me. I ordered the Louisiana Hot chicken wings as a starter and expected them to not be spicy enough for me. I was wrong, they were perfect with a delicious, spicy Buffalo sauce. For a main course, I ordered the smoked poet BBQ chicken burger which was served with beautifully seasoned chips. I rounded the meal off with a delicious classic margarita (off menu). When I am next in the UK - covid permitting - I will definitely visit again. Thanks for a great evening.

Never heard of this place until last week ( a little help from the Covid situation no doubt ) my daughter arranged & booked a table here for mine & my sister's birthday, everyone any of us mentioned it to from there on out raved about the place. Staff were all polite o arrival, although the one-way social distancing system isn't very clear ( even the so called markings on the floors ) staff were on hand to direct. We were a party of 7, the maximum seating table's were for 6, our 2 table's were very close together, still felt a little like one party struggling to feel to stay that way, & when the waitress came to take our orders & explain the way the menu worked etc, she served us as 2 separate table's. That said the food was very good ( a little pricey at £18 a head ) still, a novelty, a very nice place for special occasions & those looking for something a bit different. Food sits on a hot plate in the table centre, starters are selection of fresh breads ( gorgeous ) & all you can eat meat feast, for the main course, perfect for all meat lovers. Would definitely return, & recommend.

I am especially fussy and not a big meat eater- I chose the vegetarian platter. My husband chose the meat platter. As it’s unlimited I was fortunate enough to try both. Subsequently, I had the chicken skewers, halloumi, pesto portobello mushrooms and the complimentary starters. (The Homous and bread alongside the chicken was particularly welcoming). My little boy had a benzo box which was amazing value for money and excellent quality. My husband is a real ‘foodie’ and found all of the meat platter to be of a high standard. We were so impressed we booked a table for 15 the following evening (my sister in law’s hen party). Here the manager was particularly exceptional. As well as decorating the table he made it a real ‘experience’. Marching her arm in arm to get table and making it a really special experience. Exceptional! Thank you again! Ps- the ‘smoke’ cocktail is incredible!

Wouod be 2 star but our waitress was lovely bringing it to an3. I’ve never had to ask anyone to remove the pre added 10% service charge before. Luckily they did and we gave the waitress a small amount in cash as she was the only good bit! She said she had to put it in the pot anyway though. So, ok it was Valentine’s Day but is also my sons birthday so we came here. Been before and liked it. Liked it when the sides were included. £25 per head is a lot to pay for no sides! Table was booked for 7.30. Didn’t get our table until 8.30 (they were giving out numbers of first come first served!) it’s a large place so obviously overbooked to get the ££££ in! Hence not including sides. Surely for the wait a complimentary drink or side would be good. We Asked for more prawns. A waiter/chef brought TWO! Even the waitress said that was pathetic between 4 people so ordered more. The waiter/chef returned and threw them on the table! In all it’s really not great any more. Would prefer Fazenda! So disappointed!

Absolutely beautiful! Right so this place works by selecting your drink and a taste of all the food is brought to your table! We paid 31.60 for two people to have all of the food shown in the picture and a pint of drink each. The menu is cheaper if you go before 5pm as after this time its 20 each rather than 12.99! Might as well have an early tea and stay longer. The staff are very friendly and check if you are unsure or need anything else brought to you! It's a pretty new experience and high quality food served in a clean environment!

Honestly one of the best dining experiences I've had. We visited on Saturday the 26th. The food is out of this world. To call the portion size generous, is an understatement. Its all you can eat, and they are not shy to give you more. The steaks are cooked perfectly, and then you cook them more if you need it well done. The meats are brilliant. Very filling. The side dishes and breads are just as good. They have a fully stocked bar with a plethora of larger and wheat beers on tap. The staff are really helpful and attentive. I would definitely return and recommend highly.

Really good restaurant with a very different idea. Basically you chose either veggie or meat menu and are actually served the whole menu. So muCh food and nicely served. If you want more of anything you just ask! To be honest we struggled to eat the food they brought out. Very vibrant atmosphere and very friendly service. Absolutely awesome place went there with the family and from the moment we walked through the door the experience was brilliant have to shout out Faz for his excellent hospitality treating our little girl like a princess and even escorting her personally to our seats which we only had to wait for for 15 mins instead of the originally quoted 25mins because we had a young child and the food was out of this world and you can request more of whatever you like the best too which is a nice touch.. Don't normally bother with reviews, but this had to be one of the best meals out I've had in a long time. The price might put people off at first, as it did us, but having a bottomless selection of meats meant we could get all that we wanted out of it. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

We went to Smoke & Dough with kids and weren’t sure how would a BBQ concept be good for them . We were so happy that both the girls simply enjoyed their kids meal bento box. The 2 course meal including the grill on the Table was simply outstanding. One of the best meal we had in Liverpool. A must go for all foodies especially with family.

Went out shopping on Thursday and for lunch we stopped at Smoke and Dough. Was greeted at the door by a very nice girl who explained how things work. Place is very relaxed and has a nice atmosphere. The meats were just gorgeous! Absolutely faultless! Sides are not included in the buffet price but are fairly cheap (between £0.99 and £1.99). Kids enjoyed the food as well (which is a great achievement in itself). All staff are very attentive and professional. Loved it there and if we find ourselves in Liverpool again we are surely going back for more.

We found this place by accident, but what a lucky chance. Excellent concept, classy decor, friendly staff and outstanding food. This is the first “branch” but if the owners can replicate this same formula in other locations, they are virtually guaranteed success. I’d have no hesitation in recommending.

I cannot fault the waiting staff at all in this restaurant!!!! They were all brilliant at their jobs, especially the manager. The restaurant was very busy, the ataff were very attentive. We all wish though that we read the full menu instead of being talked into having the 18£ per head buffet!!! There is no way we ate 18£ worth of food each, the meat was very, very dry & tough most of it seemed reheated, nothing was fresh. It gets put in to the middle of your table, and left so it gets cold quick! I asked if we could take what we didn't eat home as my bill was 165£ and I had a bit of steak!!! I was told as it's buffet we aren't allowed & I said that meat goes back on the buffet, when it has been touched by us etc... answer YES 🤮😳 So, please, please please 🙏if you go there read the MENU do not go for the buffet all you can eat, cos you don't go up, they put a pile of meats in the middle of the table (and other tables) it's all reheated & very dry!) I like my steaks rare, buffet steaks are grey & tough!! But the staff are brilliant. I wouldn't go back there though it is very over priced and I was really gutted with the food.

Lovely food, quick service however it’s a bit on the expensive side, especially for drinks. That said we did enjoy everything we had. Negative for me is the addition of the 10% tip they add on to your bill. I was shocked to see it on there! That should be a choice for the customer not the restaurant. For this reason alone I won’t be returning. I do tip when I go out but that’s my decision and it shouldn’t be assumed as a given.

I've been here twice now over the past 2 months, both times they delivered first class customer service really friendly and happy to answer any queries or explain the menu. The food was very good if you are a fan of smokehouse this is for you with a unique twist that you can keep ordering more. If I was to make one suggestion, I would encourage a tip for staff when paying or maybe even a standard 5% service charge that can be removed on request. With more people paying by card now this would be a way to give the staff the tips they deserve that they may now miss out on.

I love this place . We have been a few time each time for a family occasion - with at least 10 people. The service that we receive each time is second to none. The staff are attentive and cated to all of our needs, nothing was too much trouble and orderes were taken with a smile (even thoguht we were taking an age just to decide on the basics.... Starter and drinks) The Food is amazing well seasoned and cooked and served in ample portions so that each and every one of us left in a food coma . I am sorry we never got chance to take a phote this time as the gredy lot dived in as soon as the food was down. In lovely sunshine, a little tired and thirsty we made our way up high to the sunshine Terrace. Initially intending to stop for just a drink! A little hungry we ended up at a table round 1600. There are two main options from which to choose. On top of this you can add additional starters/sides for around 99p upwards. We choose a portion of chips as the main came with breads and.a variety of dips. Just as we were finishing our drinks the bread and dips arrived. Well presented and fabulously tasty we soon polished the lot off. Soon after the hot plate of food was presented and placed in a purposely built hole in the centre of the table. Quite unique. The food looked amazing hot and extremely tasty we both nearly finished off the lot. All washed down with a glass of wine. We were both very full and enjoyed our experience. We were even able to obtain the government eating out scheme as a bonus. However I wouldn't hesitate to go even without.The staff are warm welcoming and very friendly. Would highly recommend this place and experience to all. Well done.

We have never been to a restaurant that serves the way Smoke and Dough does. We had an amazing evening, the staff were very welcoming (Raj) especially, he explained everything to us, which we didn't really understand until our food actually came out. They serve all your party at the same time and say if you want more of anything, then just let them know. The same with the main meal. Everyone has the same things but there is food there to suit everybody. The food was amazing!! and there was lots of it, we couldn't get through everything that they brought out, although wanted to leave room for dessert :-) Overall absolutely amazing restaurant, This is a must!!

We went to Liverpool for a couple of days 27th till 29th July 2021 and found this place on the terrace at Liverpool one..... we were sharp met at the door by very friendly staff and asked to take a waiting seat until our table was ready this was busy lunch time maybe our wait was 3 min but no more we where shown to our table right by the window and the very helpful staff explained how the buffet style meal worked so we proceeded to order drinks and our food first came 2 lots of bread with a selection of dips all extremely tasteful then came the hot plate with all the bbq meats on we also ordered extras of chips onion rings and house salad there was no problem with ordering more bread or meat staff were only to happy to keep approaching the table take sure you had enough or needed to order more..... to say we left with full bellys was an understatement I can't recommend this place enough and the full bill only came in at £41.07 granted there was a service charge added which I understand you really should bevadvised about before had but at £3.64 the staff really did earn it in our eyes...... and especially the girl server Danielly super friendly and could not have helped anymore then she did..... if ever we return to Liverpool this will be or first stop....
