The woman at the front of house made a mistake with our booking when we got there and we were 30 minutes late being seated. She did admit her mistake , apologied and set us up a table in the lounger, with some free drinks as compensation which I was very happy with. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We were also given a dessert for my partner who was 30. I thought this was excellent service as I wrote this on my online booking but had not mentioned it during my visit so this was brilliant attention to detail. Overall I was very satisfied

The place is very spaceuos, fancy furnished and really pleasant to have drink or food with family, business partners (a little bit noisy though). The food is really delicious. All served fast and with a smile from the staff. Go there and enjoy it!

Brilliant experience booked private dining for a small wedding meal! From the start the front desk team Rebecca and Ella where fantastic. Answering all emails promptly and helping set up room on the day! Helping us store some items! Beautiful venue. DJ good but just a little loud if there's a group. Food delicious. Only problem each time I've ordered steak it's aways alittle more overdone than should be. I order mine rare infact i asked for really rare always comes medium and last night my mum ordered medium and was more to well. They should undercook the steak at least it can be sent back if you want it to be done a little more. When overcooking you either have to 'make do' when making do in such expensive venue isn't what you want to do, or eat your meal at a different time to your entire party because they have to give you a whole new meal. Service was amazing. Would always return as food delicious 😍

Beaitiful place , really classy decor, i ordered the prawn linguini and have to say was really disappointed, had about 3 prawns in it and the spaghetti was swimming in liquid it looked more like soup, very bland wasnt seasoned enough and portions really small , my husband got chicken kebab, again disappointed, portion was small chips were overly priced for the amount you got . Ordered red wine and got rose twice by the over zealous and rather annoying male waiter who kept standing behind my husband whilst he was eating and constantly moving cutlery on our table whilst we were eating , at one point he actually slid a spoon at me while i was eating and said ur suppose to use a spoon with spaghetti!! Really rude and annoying. The lady who served us are wrong drinks was lovely she rectified the drinks twice and apologised for the waiter tending our table . Would not eat here again for reasons stated , overpriced and bland . And waiter annoying Would have a drink at the bar again .

Amazing food, wine was perfect but at the cost of a terrible service. The waitresses were stood around talking when the dishes hadn’t been cleared away for 20 minutes. We were waiting for our food for nearly an hour.

Starter was amazing (we had pick from a set menu before hand as we were a hen party) the main course was OK as was the desert. Found the drinks to be quite expensive. The actual seating was not good as we were split onto two tables which did spoil the whole experience. Very long walk to the toilets so be prepared.

This was a wonderful experience. The staff were particularly helpful. In particular, Georgia and Alex who went out of their way to to accommodate our needs. There were a few hiccups over supply as my choice of the "drunken pineapple was sold out and thought that to serve this dish too quickly would compromise the enjoyment, and so I was offered an alternative of Mascarpone brulee which was absolutely delicious, but Georgia made sure it did not impact on the enjoyment of the meal. I would strongly recommend this restaurant for the quality of the food and the excellent service.

It was lovely. Excellent food. I had a fillet steak it was cooked and seasoned as it should be. The building looked like it may have been an old bank. The way the new and old features were integrated was done very tastefully. It keeps many original features. The staff were excellent and all deserve a pat on the the back. Even when everywhere is fully booked you can still get a table here. The premier cru champagne is so cheap at £12 a glass. Tastes delicious. The place was buzzing. Great for people watching. Loads of tables outside as well. Well worth a visit.

The food and the service is outstanding, yes it's expensive but you get what you pay for. 5 stars should have been awarded but the temperature in this place is so hot and made me a little uncomfortable. Great wine selection and other drinks were available too, the menu is vast but not at all daunting. I believe if you get there before 7pm there is a deal on three course meals from a set menu

Visited for a family members special birthday, that they booked this place for. The place itself is lovley. Great busy atmosphere. The food was good. But the time we waited for food was far too long. We had to continuesly ask for things like, menus, sauces, coffees that were ordered to go with dessert. Ect Our table was booked for 7.30pm. We got desert at 10.45 and had a 9 year old with us. I wouldn't say the food was amazing but there was also nothing wrong with it. I think by the time we got it, we were that hungry we didn't care. Lots of young girls there in groups. Would return again if it was someone's choice, but wouldn't book it myself.

We enjoyed the most wonderful wedding anniversary lunch here on Saturday 14 January 2017. Started with cocktails at the stunning bar and when we sat down for lunch were treated to a complimentary glass of fizz to celebrate our special occasion. Went on to have the most delicious food and drink rounded off with my favourite liqueur Frangelico. As we waited to pay our bill we were presented with a bottle of champagne to take home to enjoy. Omg this establishment is amazing. No need to book today, warm staff welcome and seated in minutes with attentive staff throughout . Food was seriously off the hook :) Salmon fish cakes with lemon and dill sauce with spinach in a cream sauce is a must, portion was huge... first night of a 3 day stay and off to a great start. This is quite pricey, the service is excellent and the food is tastey. Downside you can get equally Nice food elsewhere cheaper, it's not special enough to justify the price. I got a glass of Prosecco £7 and the glass was dirty, they replaced my drink without fuss immediately but it's just not what quite as good as I think it should be.

What can I say, one of our favourite restaurants, actually scrap that, our favourite restaurant in the city once again played a blinder. In typical fashion I had left it far too late booking a table for new year so when I picked up the phone to make the call I did so with not much hope. I Sheepishly explained my predicament to the girl who answered the phone (we both had a little laugh at how rubbish I am) lucky for me I was greeted by probably the most helpful member of staff I've ever encountered. She informed me she'd do everything in her power to help and that she'd call me later in the day to let me know how she had got on. Thankfully I was in luck and received a call as promised with the good news I was hoping for. She had worked out a way to fit us in on a day that was pretty much fully booked, for this we cannot thank her enough. So to the restaurant, amazing setting, fantastic drinks, superb food, incredible staff..... I'm sure you can see a theme here! Anyway we have been fans of RBG for a long time and this experience has just made us fall in love with the place and the people a little more. If you're visiting Liverpool or even a local who hasn't yet made a visit I can't stress enough how much I recommend this place.

We went for a family meal and it was just OK. We enjoyed the starters but the mains were a mixed bag. I had king prawn fettuccine. It was flavoured with butter and...well, butter. My brother asked for his ribeye to be rare and asked for it to be redone when it arrived medium. The waiter then told him how he should eat his steak. His replacement was cooked right but over salted. He ended up having no main. They did refund his main and starter but he ordered a takeaway when we left. The other 3 enjoyed their mains. I used to eat there a few times a week around 5 years ago when I worked near there but I won't be hurrying back.

My first time here but not my last. Was in town for the football and this restaurant was recommended by a friend so thought I would give it a try - Normally head to San Carlo which is close by. Had oysters and Lobster Linguini both were amazing. The other guest had steak and they were overjoyed with their meals. The decor was incredible the toilets were spotless. Quite an extensive menu so you wouldn't be left wanting that's for sure. Most importantly the staff were impeccable and could not do enough to help they all had great understanding of the menu. We were late and thankfully they pushed back our table even though we didn't advise them that we would be. Worth noting this restaurant is very popular and was at full capacity so please book in advance. Big thank you
