Nick the head chef is a star. Not only is the food excellent but so is he and all his staff are so welcoming. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner too. My Sunday lunch group are a fussy lot and they love it.......mmm.....

Attended here on Saturday night just before Christmas. I hadn't booked. Was given a table for 2 straight away even though it was full. Food, service and atmosphere excellent all round. Will definitely come back.

I'd give them six stars if I could! When you order a steak medium rare, and it actually comes medium rare and not over cooked you know you're in for a good meal! Tibu did not disappoint, exquisite taste, perfectly cooked and very attentive staff. Also very good with allergies (gluten free), and will do their best to cater to your needs even if they have to adapt their menu! Will be coming again very soon, thank you for the excellent service 💜

The food is delicious, the service is excellent and we can't wait to go back! The veggie options are a little limited but we spoke to the very friendly staff and they said that the menu will be changing to accommodate more veggie and vegan options. I for one am looking forward to trying the new menu! This is the restaurant Formby has sorely needed for so long!

Had the privilege of knowing Tibu for many years and genuinely excited and so happy he is here with his own amazing restaurant. Heart and soul has gone into this place, as for the crafting of the menu that brings through flavours of sunnier climbs is unquestionably fantastic. Extensive and well created cocktail list too. Warm, friendly, authentic, delicious!!!

Wonderful atmosphere, food and service. My partner and I took our young baby and pram to the evening meal. The staff were very accommodating and we had an excellent experience. There are some quite negative reviews on here, but when you consider that the venue is full most lunch/dinner services and there are plenty of alternative cheaper eateries available, they must be doing something very right.

Visited Tibu last night with family, food was outstanding and well worth the money. Menu is excellent and so much choice. The sticky beef roll is to die for. Staff and service are also good without rushing you. Special mention to Benni and Marco, an asset to any business. Will definitely be visiting soon!

This restaurant has been converted from the previous Pizza Express on this site. Head chef is a transfer from Vincent’s in Southport, who has brought his skills and quality with him. The main theme of the food is sushi, but I had Morrocan lamb rump as my main. A few teething problems, due to being open for only a few days, but the trivial errors were resolved with no fuss, good grace, and a refund. All the food is superbly cooked and presented. A good place to take someone to impress them! I don’t know who gave a one star review, but this is most definitely a five star restaurant.

An interesting experience, some of the dishes were exquisite others not so much. A little pricey. Whole experience was spoiled by the ambiance. It was unacceptably noisy, the waiters had to shout to be heard and struggled to hear us.
