z. b.1st ever time at hook and catch for dinner tonight
Fancied a fish supper so decided to give this a try
A large fish supper was £10.95 ..... dunno how I feel about the price but it was made to order and when I got it
It was how I like it and very fresh and tasty
Chips were good and crispy but some were soggy so dunno if I got a mix of fresh ones and not so fresh ones
There tartar sauce and spicy tartar sauce is really nice I'd recommend
Overall I'd give it a 7.9/10
B. B.Was long queue in Macdonald's so thought hook and catch advertising proper burger. Will give that a try. Well at £9.50 double the cost and double the time if I went inside to mcds I was very disappointed with the end product. Don't know what they based their "proper" burger claim on but it's far from what I call a proper burger.
C. F.First of all noticed no menus on the wall, unusual for a chippy however let it slide and just ordered what could be seen. Young staff but food was well cooked, tasted great and premises was very clean
f.Absolutely the nicest chippy chips i have ever tasted!!! Gets cooked fresh so be prepared to wait 10/15 mins but delucious!!!
