The service at 28-50 Oxford Circus matches the exceptional standards delivered at the other 28-50 restaurants, wine bars and lounges. The Oxford Circus restaurant (based in Fitzrovia) is the successor of the now closed Covent Garden premises. The 28-50 menus have been recently expanded. I was impressed with the dessert and enhanced alcoholic drinks options. I have previously provided feedback that the chain’s savoury options could be improved, and looking at the menu they seem to have taken this feedback on board and made the necessary changes. Henrietta provided an outstanding service. She was friendly and dedicated throughout. Others were also helpful and checked that we were happy. My drinks and desserts on my visit were all excellent. It was good to see the lemon posset had been given a seasonal tweak. It shows the level of detail the chef goes to. Well worth a visit on a Friday night.

Beautiful restaurant, elegant and stylish but down to earth and relaxed. The deco and atmosphere very accomplished and, as it gerts darker, the minimalist lights add a lovely and cosy feel of almost candlelight dining. The food is very good, starting with the butter, deliciously smooth and creamy, and the sourdough bread very good. Nocellara olives weren't the best but still good. The Octopus ceviche, Oysters with the shallot in vinegar and grilled prawns with alioli were all very good as well, but the monkfish on a bed of green lentils was so well cooked and truly delicious. As a dessert we were recommended the papanasi and it didn't disappoint. The staff and service is great. Special mention to Aldo for being so accomodating to our requests and Pascuale, the bar manager whose recommendation of both white and red wine were spot on. An elegant and relaxed placed with pretty good food and great service. It should be a 4.5 * really. Highly recommended!

Genuinely one of the nicest dining experiences of the year to date: attentive but unfussy staff who were so down to earth yet consummately professional. The food equally was delish: crispy artichoke tempura, home baked breads, the creamiest burrata and some of the best oysters I have had the pleasure to eat in London over the past few years. When our dining companion knocked over his wine glass - barely touched - they cleaned and replaced his (rather delicious St. Aubin white) wine without asking - wonderful. The monkfish was also expertly presented and cooked and our fillet steak just moreish. Try the moderately priced wine pairing - it's so good. 5 stars guys, will definitely be back with our four legged friend - yes..it's dog friendly too!! Big shout out to Cheila whose expert service completed our experience just perfectly.
