Fabulous dinner at this stylish restaurant & wine bar on Draycott Ave. We started with champagne & oysters at the bar, beautifully presented. Richard was charming. Followed by the full "prestige" tasting menu, Barbara helped advise us. Wild mushroom veloute and hanger steak... Perfect. Just spectacular, and the wine background from the sommelier Kesia (?) - a real enthusiast and very inspiring. The service throughout was fabulous and the food amazing. I'll definitely go back!

Great place, but more on the expensive side. The rib-eye steak was delicious. The side fries were very good too. The salmon cevice is fine, but nothing too exciting unfortunately. The waitress was very kind and attentive.

Fabulous food and service, cannot fault a single thing in this restaurant. I couldn't drink so the waitress made me surprise mocktails which were utterly delicious! Food was honestly so delicious and exceptional, will definitely come back!

Had a super bday meal for my niece here yesterday. A wonderful meal with such absolutely lovely service by the staff - just made for a great evening celebration for the six of us. Highly, highly recommend - the food, wine, atmosphere and champagne was excellent. Five stars!!

The atmosphere is nice and the staff very friendly. The wine and the food were pretty good, though it took a while for the mains to arrive. The only problem is how loud the place was. Not sure if it was because of the number of customers or the club music, but I could barely hear the person I was with. Pretty good overall.

We booked a table at 28-50 Chelsea for mother's day. They double booked, and moved us with less than 48 hours notice to Kensington, so we had to adjust our plans a bit. We were told that the group would receive "free bubbles on arrival and free desserts" as compensation for the change. At the Kensington branch, the food was impeccable and the service was great. However there was no mention of us being moved or the compensation offered. Instead the server offered a "free gift" of sparkling wine "to the ladies but unfortunately not the men". This was an archaic and offensive statement considering I am a non-binary person. Two out of five people at the table got the compensatory drinks. We were also made to pay for our desserts. I'm sure it was just a miscommunication between the branches but kind of a weird slip-up that left me with a bad taste. But as I said, the food was great.

Firstly, I am not a wine drinker but I love food, so I can't comment on the wine, many other diners seemed to be content and my wife and daughter enjoyed a nice bottle of red. This is a new restaurant and the food is fabulous, excellent seabass and fillet steak and the rice pudding was worth a re-visit just for that. The service is excellent our waitress Maria, was very polite and professional. The entire team cared about our dining experience and made it a very pleasant evening. I would certainly recommend this for a relaxed, quality dining experience, slightly hidden away, but gems often are.

We were looking for somewhere to celebrate our anniversary, and were very happy indeed to have found 28-50. The service is excellent, very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was all delicious - the truffle arancini were a highlight, and the Welsh ribeye was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. Highly recommended.

While booking it was not clear that only Christmas lunch menu is offered. Nothing else. Did spend 75 pounds for the set. But then dessert was served very late. 12.5% service charge is overpriced for late desert

Such an enjoyable evening. Lovely atmosphere and even better food. The best part of the experience was our lovely server Martine- she made the evening a relaxed, fun night, and she was kind enough to be our photographer as well. Love her!! Will be back

I am really impressed with this place. They have done so well opening and getting such a competent team in place during these difficult times. That said the service is highly exceptional even when you don’t take this into account. Martine is an outstanding server who made us feel welcome. I hope Riviera (the owners) as a business really celebrate the success they have made of the restaurant, and the remarkable contributions the staff team in Kensington have made.

This review is about the 28-50 in Draycott Avenue, in Chelsea. Next to Chelsea telephone exchange. Not South Kensington - there is no Draycott Avenue in South Kensington. Never has been. Nor in Knightsbridge. Or Fulham. But there is now another 28-50 in the King's Road, which also happens to be in Chelsea. Anyway, the food here is really good, and the service is first class. The attention to the wine selection is commendable. Recommended

Great addition to the 28-50 experience in Kensington, we frequently visit Marylebone. A top notch wine list with Petrus, Haut Brion etc. for those who want something really special. We chose mid-range reds and were not dissapointed. Service excellent, food simple but delicious; steaks, burgers and chicken or meat/cheese plates. Tables inside and out. A place for wine lovers. Cheers!

I had the absolute pleasure of getting to experience this delightful restaurant last week. It exceeded all expectations! Ksenia, Roman, and Michael, made sure that all our needs and questions were taken care of . The level of service matched the food and wine! I’d highly recommend the Gavi and hummus app.. Food is sublime, staff provide the best service you imagine in great hotels, and the location is amazing. It is cosy so even though most places in the surrounding area are seaming and have 2 hour queues to eat, this place stays relatively quite and tucked away. It is so unassuming but fantastic. It also does great deals - two courses and a drink for under £20 which is amazing.

The food was pretty good and quite reasonably priced, though I think the sides are over-priced for what you get. The wine was reasonable and palatable. I wouldn't consider it anything special, it's tasty, probably a little over-priced, and [never a good thing] they seem to think they're very special.

This is one of our favourite places to go for a cheese and wine session. The staff are great - a few times we’ve been, they’ve allowed us to taste the wine before ordering a glass They usually offer a cheese selection platter which never disappoints! Try that with a Warre’s port 😋 Or try the Torrontes El Abasto for a sweet floral white 👌🏼

Have to say thought this would be a great meal but the menu was not very appealing so I ended up ordering a steak which is not something I would do unless in a steak house. It came medium well rather than medium rare twice in a row so I ended up eating it anyway as I was too hungry to wait at this point.
