My first time. We had to wait and had to request to be served so we were kept waiting for a while, we chatted while we waited as we had loads to catch up on. The food eventually arrived, my friends (4) liked their dishes... Mine was Monika. I found it too salty.... as did my friend who ordered the same. For the pepper soup, my friend had to request for a spoon. Shame. A member of staff helped with pictures when we requested. Thanks.

The food was very tasty. It was delivered on time and it was still hot. Ordered the chicken suya and mixed grill with jollof rice. Food was authentic...according to my husband who is very familiar with Nigerian food. Was expecting it to be spicier, but it was full of flavour. The mixed grill was supposed to be chicken, lamb and beef, but there was no beef. About 3 pieces of lamb and one piece of chicken. Disappointed there was no beef and should have been informed. Mixed grill should have had more meat for the price in my opinion ... Overall the food was way expensive, even with a discount . Also, I really think it would have been nice that some plantain should accommodate the jollof rice. The rice was really good though.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years now. Great food and the staff are good too. The one that stands out to me is, Foozi. What a gentleman he is. Very smart young man. Good manners, great conversation. He’s knows exactly when to speak, and when to be quiet. My favourite member of staff, by a mile!

I have been to many Nigerian restaurants in UK and non of them are close to the quality of service and food this particular 805 delivers. Great food, big portion, courteous staff and clean environment I'll be back anytime I visit London again.

Food was good but slightly oily. I requested a 45 minute time for collection but when I arrived the food was not ready. Slightly disappointed and enquired for a complimentary fried plantain £5 for not meeting time expectations. This was denied and I paid for this which in my opinion was poor management of not ensuring customers are looked after. Especially as I spent £75 for 4 meals and small portion of gizzard. I would have given a higher rating if not for this experience.

We went on a Saturday afternoon and the service was poor. There was so many delivery drivers waiting to be served and it seemed they took precedence over the restaurant goers. The menu was out of date. I ordered grilled fish with jollof rice and plantains and I only got fish and plantains. When I asked the waitress how comes she says the menu is not up to date...What?! She said I had to order jollof rice separate. Why did she not tell me this when I ordered? So basically it was £20 for fish and plantains only. Total rip off! The fish was nice I'll give them that and the wait was not too long for food. Others in the restaurant were waiting for a while for their complete order (they brought stew and had to wait a while for the pounded yam). It is not worth another visit unfortunately.

The Beef Suya was absolutely disappointing! The beef was not tender and the syua powder was limited. Please, if you are going to add beef suya to the menu then please put more effort in the dish. As a Nigerian, I was extremely disappointed and shocked that a Nigerian restaurant prepared that dish. I would hate for non Nigerians to taste it and think that is what Suya tastes like. Please improve the Beef Suya and i look forward to ordering it again. Overall 805 is a great restaurant hence why i have rated 3 stars.

Well this really was a turn up for the books. I expected great food. No surprise. Tasty authentic Nigerian food. Tastes very much like my Nan would have made it. Thumbs up for that. The real surprise was that the food was served up, piping hot within 10 minutes of sitting down. If you like African food (West) well cooked in a place that's cozy, friendly and pumps out Sade tunes, you won't go wrong here. Five well deserved stars 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

I went for dinner here last night, and have to say the experience was much better than expected. This was my first time at 805, and it surely won't be my last. From my initial phone call I made to arrange the event, right through to the end of the night the service was professional, and the staff was very accommodating of my group. I ordered the beef suya for my starter, which could have been spicier but was tasty. For my main I got jollof rice and fried fish with plantain which was delicious. I would once again like to thank the staff for making my groups dining experience a delightful one !

I celebrated my graduation this evening in this gorgeous place. I am glad to say that it was a awesome evening and the place was absolutely the reason for that successful event. This is one of the best Nigerian restaurants in London! Great hospitality, delicious food, quick service times and centrally located. The staff always welcome you with a smile, and the portions are normally generous, allowing for seconds / sharing / to-go bags.

Food is tasty, made relatively quick, and customer service is fine 9 times out o' 10, I order jollof rice (which comes with plaintain), beef (which they serve with a tomato-y stew), and I like to get a pounded yam as often as I can; you might not like to get all the same things as I do, but I doubt you dislike rice! And let me tell you, the jollof rice they make is delicious, and I feel it goes well with the plaintain they serve with it. I could pro'ly eat exactly the same thing every time I go there, no complaints!

Amazing Naija food here!!! The suya was hot hot hot 🔥!! I thought I was the only one feeling it but the rest of my gang confessed same. That said, it was just too delicious to put down. Not for the faint-hearted though. The fried rice I had was "homely"... Couldn't have been better. Definitely deserves a 5 star for the authentic Nigerian dishes.

The food is nice but the petite girl with short buzz cut hair is so incredibly rude each time I've been here and unfortunately should not be working in a customer service role. She has put me off going here because of her spiteful, rude, offish behaviour. I walked out today without my order because of her and sadly and she was happy with this outcome...with her working here i wont be going to your restaurant again. she was happy to see me walk out without an apology and I have heard she is rude to other customers too by another employee who apologised oh her behalf. Be careful who you hire because you will lose customers and sadly because of her you have lost me as a customer. Furthermore, I was told the order was £50 over the phone and when i went in the girl said £60. Perhaps to steal from me. Whatever the case there are other restaurants to go to so I am not losing anything.
