S. P.This is the first chicken shop in East London. I been going here for over 30 years now. Still family owned and run by family members. This is the original shop which started the revolution.
The chilli sauce is legendary. The chips are fantastic. The donner kebab is a must. The fried chicken just tastes better, don't ask me why. They have loads of food options, plenty of indoor seating. Parking outside or nearby. Open everyday until late night.

s. K.I've been coming here for years and the the food here is amazing, the quality & taste remains consistent. The staff are very welcoming and cater for customised orders, without making you feel uneasy. Have to mention the BBQ Chicken grill special they have, its absolutely the best.

A. M.Food is okay, its just a standard fried chicken takeaway. The standard has always been the same for number of years so you always know the quality of food you shall receive but sometimes they do tend to give you reheated fries which are always awful. I have been coming here on/off for the last few years and personally i feel they specialise in 4 things:
1 - Fries which are ok but they always tend to reheat fries which are awful so always recommend to inform the staff not to give reheated fries.
2 - Doner which is ok, the standard is the same in the local area but its just more like a asian curry doner with loads of chilli sauce and fried onions.
3 - Fried chicken which is ok
4 - Grilled chicken which is good but occasionally it can be raw or sometimes they will run out of burger buns and instead put the burger in a pitta or smaller baps at the same price. Which i feel is not right and they should always acknowledge their mishaps and not charge the same price!!!
Also, the owners will always charge you more for adding cheese in your burgers but the staff do not.
Staff occasionally can be very rude especially when busy. Also i always get charged more by the owners for burgers than the staff! Sort that out please
Also its definitely NOT a Turkish cuisine if thats we you are expecting!

Probably the most delicious burger Ive ever had.
The chicken could be a bit better but nothing compares to their grilled menu.

Doner: Made from scratch from staff, so always tastes different every time. Having it Stir-Fried is amazing!
Fried Chicken/Wings: Probably where they make most of their money, hence why the price hasn't changed ever since I moved in the area (1997) lol
Chips: Standard. Can have them well done upon request.
Chicken Tikka/Lamb Shish: Probably the BEST thing on the Menu.
Grilled Wings: Banging! In fact, anything grilled from this place is Amazing!
Burgers: Amazing variety of choices. There's like 7 different chicken burgers to choose from. And I dare anyone reading this to try their Special Burgers (which comes with double-cheese, Doner Meat and Chips.....inside the Burger).
Overall: You can see for yourself why it's been successful since it was established 30 years ago.....even with the added competition over the years on Upton Lane :)

A.Ordered a large doner meat and chips from the hype of some guy at work, the meat was very tasty after being marinaded, but then let down buy the small size of the thing (it looked more like a small portion), and the wings were cold and old (hey that rhymes) and reheated in an oven and given - zero taste as was stale, the guy at the counter with the glasses on thought he was some bad man east London gangster and had a certain ego about him ..... another day in east London
