Been there so many times in the past, a few years ago and back then it was a nice place to go to. So I decided to go there again after a such a long time, Good Lord! What a huge improvement, the new decor, colour theme, the lighting… I absolutely loved it. Staffs were friendly as usual and the food was great as it’s always been. Highly recommended, I will defiantly go there again.

As always, food is on point, meat is very succulent and the bread isn't difficult to swallow. Beneath the meat is some rice, I'm not sure the name of exactly but mixed with some pulled chicken. This is the Platter for 4-5 on the menu. Can definitely feed more than 5 as it has just fed 7 people. I'd say a little more rice would be nice but otherwise the food is delicious. Very great customer service and they gave a drink on the house too which is very nice.

Gourmet burger was made perfectly; very generous patty size and had an authentic grill taste. Staff were very friendly. Took 35-40 mins to make the burger (was told 20 mins) but burger was cooked to specification. Chips were £2.50 for large but I found the portion provided to be a medium at best, so I don’t really recommend the chips here. They tasted decent and tasted even better with the garlic sauce. Looking forward to trying more items from Alex’s!

Been coming here over 20 years. I bring my friends and clients here. Why? Alex's is THE BEST Turkish family run local restaurant and take away in the whole of London. Their food is delicious and always mouth watering. Their customer service is very friendly and makes you feel welcome all the time. NO ONE can beat the amazing food they make here,with the best customer service which they go up and beyond. You have to try! During the COVID-19 pandemic they offer take away services. Hand on heart their take food are just as GOOD as sitting in. Obviously my best friend and I always love sitting in and eating in when we could previously. We can't wait for the opportunity again to do so. We do love their take away service too. We highly recommend you to try and you won't regret it.

The Food here is simply AMAZING. I cannot stress how fantastic this place is. The Restaurant is run by two brothers (the sons of the owner Alex) and the Service is very friendly and professional. They dont do delivery but great presentation at the restaurant. Great value especially the meat special where they give you all types of meat. There was lots of food. Scampis were also really nice. Pitta bread was nice and warm. Although, one star lost would be hygiene. Dont think theres enough hand washing. But service and friendliness is great. They even gave us some garlic n chilli sauce without even asking!

This is the by far the best local Turkish restaurant in east London to eat! The brothers and family that run the place are always sound and humble! They go the extra mile for providing top quality food. I’d recommend the Lamb Donner, Mitity Kofte, Hot Dolma and Special Mixed Grill! The food goes extremely well with the fresh salad, rice combination and extra order of chips! The food is flavoursome, great portions size, value for money and an overall great experience!

To be honest my wife found this that said we were driving by and I was a little bit hesitant as as it did not look like the usual big name popular Turkish restaurants that you'd find in Haringey however I went ahead as we were hungry and thought I'd give it a try. Once we got there I can only say how wrong I was end how I would rather choose this place more than the more popular well-known Turkish restaurants, it's like a hidden gem!!! The service, the price and the amount of food is just impeccable. Definitely start going there. Honestly you won't go elsewhere afterwards.

After reading some great reviews, I was expecting a lot, but the place disappointed me a little bit. Doner meat was little bland, Beyti Kebab was nice but I've definitely had better ones.

We just got an Uber delivery from Alex's and I can honestly say it is the best we have had. During COVID we have had several deliveries to help restaurants keep going and on many occasion the food has been tasteless, stone cold and soggy. This food however was exceptionally good, it was delivered hot, even the chips.The meat was lovely and tender, 11 out of 10 for this restaurant, amazing! The best yet, highly recommend!

Considering how little it cost I was dumbfounded by how much food was actually served. Amazing value for money. They serve one of the best Turkish cuisines in London. They are reasonably priced for their big portions as well. Quite simply, wonderful. Friendly staff in a very clean place, amazing food cooked to perfection, good size portions. They have a small barman a seating area so will have to sit in one night. Had the mixed kebab at £9.95 and was worth every penny. The only niggle was the pitta bread could of been on the grill for a few more minutes but that is hardly a big thing. Excellent food and absolutely gigantic portion sizes. Their lamb doner is amazing, there's actually flavour and taste unlike your typical doner place where the meat tastes like rubber. Me and my wife made the mistake of ordering a dish each when one between us would have done. Bear in mind it is cash only which is quite annoying, especially since there are only a few cash machines nearby, many which were broken when I tried to use them.

Visited Alex’s for kebab, the atmosphere was lively, decore made feel I was in shorditich not East Ham. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and a good sense of humour. I ordered lamb chops, meat was soft, tender lightly seasoned Turkish style served with soft Turkish bread and fresh salad. They gave me complementary baklava and Turkish tea.
