So this is the first Michelin star restaurant that I've ever eaten at and I have to say all the hype is Greatly deserved. I was in heaven eating a crown of chicken with pork loin I can't remember the name of the sauce I just know I wanted more. The Brussels sprouts fried with Parmesan crisp was absolutely divine, the carrots with almonds on top amazing was fabulous, cubed potatoes was absolutely delicious, with a very good crunch. Oh and before I forget even though this is something I shouldn't really forget the dessert that I had I can't remember the name but it was absolutely delicious so delicate and full of flavor. The service was excellent really accident I don't have to come back here again You would have to beg me If anything If I wanted to be bougie and I wanted to be taken somewhere This would be one of the places that come first mind.

We had the tasting menu and paired wines. I would rate the food above its price point. I believe smaller pours but higher quality of wines would elevate and justify this upsell. The service was obviously led with passion, was not quite on point yet, several easily avoidable mistakes were made. Overall we very much enjoyed our evening.

We went to Allegra last night for their trial menu which comes at a reduced price.
The food was too notch, really rate it and for the discounted price seemed a bargain, considering the number of courses and skilled cookery. Photos show the menu and my two favourite dishes; hisbi cabbage with prawn and scallop. Then the ox cheek that had a creamy polenta with hidden duxelle underneath - beautiful stuff.
All staff were really friendly and up for a chat which was nice and if felt casual. Only critique is the wine pairing seemed to not be of an as high standard or to offer the same value as the food. Glasses were small (I appreciate this is normally the case) and also generally not very expensive bottles (although delicious and we'll paired). Oh one more thing my girlfriend mentioned that nobody offered her or the other guest who did not do the wine pairing any other drinks when they finished. The restaurant was very busy though so probably down to that.
Next time we would just get a couple of bottles.

Excellent restaurant with nice views at Stratford. Great location and amazing place to have dinner.
Food and service was amazing. I have been with my partner at this restaurant before lockdown and after lockdown re opened and we are not disappointed. Food still amazing! We have ordered starters having some oysters, the stake for two persons along with some sides and finally the dessert. Everything was delicious!

overall: went to celebrate friends birthday & is worth every penny - the presentation, the unique flavours, the environment. great for any special occasions. really enjoy the wine as well.
tip❗️: go for the tasting menu. u will not regret. if u are willing to pay for such a nice restaurant, might as well have the full experience. (*) are highly my favs of the night.
*pistachio choux 🍊: touch of sweetness & bitterness from the clementine on top. paired with the cool liver parfait filling. the lingering aftertaste makes u craving for more.
blood pudding muffin 🍔: fluffy chewy muffin. pickled jalapeño is not overly sour & gives a slight kick.
waldorf tarts 🥧: very strong blue cheese & pickled taste. refreshing but sadly personally not to my taste.
bread 🍞: first time trying soda bread (i think it’s called?) cake like texture, with slight sweetness & molasses aftertaste. highly recommend not adding any spreads.
artichoke velouté 🥣: most fav part of the dish is the flaky buttery brioche w/ sweet sour marmalade butter w/ crispy artichoke.
*hand picked crab 🦀: the blend of umami from the crab & sweetness of apple is just divine. the light soy sauce just enhances the dish even more
*barbecued monkfish 🐟: love the firm texture of the fish. but the MVP of the nite has to be the carrots (BELIEVE ME), it’s soft, juicy, sweet, caramelised, wrapped w/ thin layer of salty cured pork.
white pork 🐷: crispy skin, soft at the rim of the pork but chewy tender in the centre, amazing skills.
ice cream sandwich 🥪: love the sour jam-like filling (rhubarb compete i think…?)
*chocolate dessert 🍫: not sure the exact name of the dish, but love hazelnut ice cream paired w/ smooth vanilla cream that has a pinch of sea salt.
apple dessert 🍎: personally would it a bit sweeter overall & bit hard to share as the cream just squishes out when u try to halve it. but still good.
financier 🧁: those mini financiers are still warm & moist. love how the cool chestnut cream tastes & feels
tiny suggestion for restaurant: maybe change the plates after oyster, before nibbles, to avoid a plate of fresh sea water…

Great experience with tasting menu today. Staff was very professional and careful with dietary requirements. Thanks a lot to Bobby and the team for making this evening special for us - very friendly service, great food, nice atmosphere and a great music all night long. We loved it!

Fantastic tasting menu at Allegra. Staff were attentive and friendly. You forget you're in Stratford until you notice the view!
The menu changed slightly without warning and they served us Cod but it was actually the Monkfish! It was delicious anyway.

Love this place! Cannot recommend enough. Have visited a few times and can safely say it is a stand out restaurant delivering high quality, tasty dishes. The roasts on a Sunday are particularly special, however, a whistle stop visit for cocktails and bar snacks is equally pleasant. If you are in Stratford and want a memorable meal, head to Allegra!

Outstanding food, as you would expect from a menu with 4 mains. The menu changes regularly and it worth checking before you go. We had both meat and vegetarian options and both were amazing. The venue is beautiful, modern and had a wonderful atmosphere. Amazing cocktails and to be expected from the location as the Stratford has amazing bars downstairs. Probably the best dinning experience on the East of London. Worth a visit and not too heavy on the wallet

I really loved it here, gorgeous decor, really friendly and attentive staff without being intrusive. Water was constantly topped up without having to ask. We ordered the steak to share and some sides, it was delicious. My friend is coeliac and the staff went out of their way to even make the walnut tart starter (which doesn’t usually come as gluten free) with a gf base just so she would be able to share that with us too. An amazing restaurant and can’t wait to go back. It is pricey but I think we definitely got what we paid for.
