Came here to celebrate my birthday with some friends and so glad I did! The staff were so friendly and accommodating every step of the way. Their outdoor heating was unfortunately not working the day of our but supplied us with blankets and hot water bottles. All my friends loved their food as well. Honestly can't rave about their customer service enough! Their courtyard for outdoor seating is in the most perfectly quiet little place, gave me Italy vibes, so much character, loved it -my photos did no justice! I can imagine its even more beautiful on a sunny day. I live locally and the experience was good enough for me to say I will definitely be coming back again.

All perfect folks! Highly recommended! The staff is amazingly friendly and professional, the restaurant itself is very cozy and comfy. Food?? Oh yeah... it's heaven! We're are an Italian couple, so trust us, that a great Italian food. Gennaro, the Chef, is marvellous, his recipes and the quality of ingredients are the very top! Taste the "friarielli", a unique Italian vegetable, Gennaro knows very well how to cook those. Pizza, pasta, any course you order will delight you! Give it a try and you won't regret it ;)

We had a great time at Amici!! Beautiful outdoor area with amazing food and drink! We also tried the ice cream with balsamic vinegar for dessert! This place is extremely good! The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The garden is perfect for summer evening. I found it randomly on Open Table and very happy that I did, I didn't think Kennington and Oval had any decent restaurants at all! Will definitely be coming back.

We went to this restaurant for my husband’s special birthday. I did make an error and thought I had booked a restaurant in Kensington rather than Kennington! However, it was well worth the costly taxi as the food was all freshly cooked and tasted amazing. The service was really personal and we were made to feel like special customers. Jim was a lovely host as well as the other serving staff. The seating was a little bit cafe style outside. We were offered blankets & hot water bottles when it went a bit cooler and they did have patio heaters so we couldn’t complain and had a wonderful evening. Thank you.

Houman and his team made sure everything went so smoothly. In the run up to the day, Houman was always available for questions and to ensure that every detail was thought of. As always, the food and service were exceptional. The setting of Amici's courtyard was the perfect spot for our small intimate event and so many of our guests commented on both the setting and the quality of the food. We can't thank Houman and the Amici team enough for making our day so special and memorable! We can't wait to visit again and relive the magic of the day!

There was a miscommunication with one of the orders and they were very apologetic and accomodating to quickly fix this - even giving complementary food whilst waiting. Amici restaurant is an hidden gem in Kennington, perfect for italian food passionates. I had the pleasure to enjoy the secret garden and the relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant. I've been there at lunchtime and I had Seafood Linguine, it was superb, an exquisite dish, without doubt the best seafood pasta I've ever had in London. Great selection of wines, good quality of coffee and convenient prices. The staff is efficient and friendly. I super suggest Amici restaurant, where I will enjoy an happy hour very soon.

This is such a lovely restaurant. The courtyard is a great place to eat outside the winter months, but the food is really good too. They're also extremely family-friendly; we've brought our two-year-old many times and they are always very accommodating and welcoming. Last time we went I had a steak tartare which was just perfect, followed by a beautiful pizza. The wine list is well-chosen and affordable; they do great cocktails; service is really good too. if you're local, support this place! It's a brilliant asset to the area.

Lovely enclosed courtyard setting. Food is ok and could be outstanding, the ambience and staff are so pleasant that it could be a regular date. Sadly they allow smokers to smoke in the dining area, presumably because it’s outside. Really hate that, it felt like we’d been whizzed back in time 20 years to when it was OK to smoke in restaurants. It’s really not! Thanks for the response. We ate bruschetta and seafood pasta. The bruschetta was really tasty, the seafood pasta very under seasoned with lack of depth in flavour TBH. In such a small space it’s impossible to put anyone in a ‘no smoking’ area. We felt really sorry for the people living in the surrounding flats with little gardens who have no choice but to breathe in other peoples (your customers) smoke. Why not just ask smokers to go and smoke outside the restaurant environment. Such an antisocial habit, unfortunately smokers rather selfishly never see it that way which is why laws had to be passed to ban smoking from public areas!

The most authentic Italian food you will find in London. The added bonus is the beautiful courtyard which is shared with a cute little cafe. The prices are unbeatable and unbelievable! You don't have to second guess that glass of wine, it's almost a free treat with the value. You also get the extra pleasure of a wonderful staff :)

Gorgeous spot in Kennington and perfect for drinks with such a stunning area for alfresco dining/drinking. Pasta dishes are small. I had lamb ragu tagliatelle which was really great. Went again and had the octopus ravioli, which was disappointing as had dried and was generally underwhelming. The tuna tartare was also very underwhelming. Pizza or pasta probably your best best and certainly drop in for drinks/nibbles. Food could definitely be better. Some lovely wines though and fantastic staff.

On a great sunny Sunday like today, this place is a heaven of tranquility.
