Have you seen the size of Tali for 9.99? It's a double portions and more variety of foods. 2 people can easily eat this. Very friendly environment and if you really wants hot foods, this the right place for you guys. *****

Great ambience. Polite and very helpful staff. We had the breakfast buffet. The taste was amazing with good variety of dishes. The owner was very helpful and providing excellent hospitality. Our family were very happy with the food and we will come again. The restaurant and toilets are very clean.

Have been to this restaurant ages ago probably pre pandemic when they had a buffet etc. Was not that great then, but it has changed quite a lot and portions for mains are pretty good and reasonably priced. I felt starters are a bit overpriced for the portion size they offer. I agree pandemic has pushed prices rocket high so cannot complain. But very satisfied with the service and staff took extra care in customising dishes for kids making them less spicy, pretty impressive. Definitely going back. Service was quick. In all very good experience.

Food was average. Its a restaurant being managed by a family on its own , though in starting I really felt good about it but then they really need to hire some staff. It took almost an hour for the 2 dishes that I ordered. 3 stars because we could see that they are trying hard and can really improve by hiring few staff members. Best item i liked was masal chai.

Beautiful totally vegetarian restaurant with authentic Indian cuisine of the southern region alongside a few northern choices to mix and match with. Lots of chilli (which is great!) and nice service. Loved the dosa! 😆

Came in today at 6pm 28/03/22. The waiter who served us was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the biggest let down was the food! Extremely bland. Zero spice in the ghee masala dosa and poori with potato. Maybe add some chilli in your food. I won't be returning for that reason.

Nowadays when going to eat out you are spoilt for choice. But a warm welcome and from Ananda Bhavan made our evening very worthwhile and memorable. The food is FRESH and Tasty 😋. I have two fussy lads and a mother who likes a home cook meal and this place definitely hits the spot. Definitely would come again with family and friends 100%...... Don't forget to get your delicious pan and the end.

Authentic food. We had homely treat. Vada was crispy hot and delicious (must try). Thali portion is generous and all for reasonable price. Ashok is very friendly person. I recommend this place👍

Great friendly place. Quality of food is really good. Tried the Podi Dosa which was quite awesome. Nothing short of what you taste in India. And a special shout to all the accompanying chutneys. Ananda Bhavan is true to its name ( a home of happiness). The food was authentic South Indian, especially the coconut and red chutney, soft idlis, crispy Dosa and fresh Vadai. This transcended me to my native place in south Tamil Nadu, giving me nostalgic memories. We went around 22:00 after completing temple visits, Mr Baskaran was an excellent host and looked after us and made us feel at home. He brought in an extra hostess Miss Madhi to cater to our needs. Miss Aiswarya looked after us with a personal touch accommodating our group with appropriate seating and made the whole evening an enjoyable experience. In summary an authentic South Indian vegetarian hotel with fabulous hosting that makes it an enjoyable experience in usually busy Eastham.

Today I was with my friend to Ananda Bhavan, the food, the people,and the service is awesome.I liked the place very much and the smiling faces of the employees too , it's just like a paradise for vegetarians. Especially kalyan is the guy name who managed things there. I want to rate him 100/100. I had a word with the owner with a smiling as well a good man who owns a good place. Planning to visit it again and again.

I stopped in for a quick meal, orfered idlis and papdi chaat, both were excellent.. this is a new restaurant (only a few weeks old), serving wonderful food with excellent service and a smile. We usually go to one of the other vegetarian places in Eastham, but seen this place opened recently and visited Ananda Bhavan over the weekend. We ordered Punjabi Samosa, Paneer Tikka Masala and Ghee Pongal/Medhu vada. We found the food quality good and reasonably priced. Manager of the restaurant took special care while delivering food and ensured the food is up to our satisfaction. We also noticed a few issues like cutleries / plates not provided along with the food, and also observed by other people eating in at the same time. As it is a relatively new and slightly understaffed, only a matter of time these gets resolved. Hence I am going with 5 stars as we found the taste is good and will visit again in future.

It's our fifth time visiting the restaurant. Excellent tasty Indian food - Must try the softest idly, panner butter masala with garlic naan. My son had rose milk and mushroom fried rice -had a taste and it was same great taste that we get backhome. Quick service and friendly staffs too. Taste of India used to be our favourite before now it's definitely Ananda Bhavan. 👍

Ananda Bhavan, as the name suggests, truly stands by its name. A true competitor breaking the monopolistic environment on the streets of Eastham. I've tried most of the South Indian as well as North Indian dishes and I must say they taste yummm... My personal favourites are the chaat items. The restaurant atmosphere is great with friendly yet professional staff. It's a great place to even book for special events with ample space downstairs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who wishes to spend a pleasant evening with family or friends. So, you will be doing yourself a favour if you add Ananda Bhavan to your list of favourite places to dine-in or take-away.

I was visited so many times in diffrent south indianian restorants.but they are expensive and in food taste they are lost flavour as i ate 6 years before. Now first time visited Ananda Bhavan. The taste give me first delicious impreseon . I will defienetly visit again and ralready recomended to my friends too. I give them four star. Because No water , spoon , fork etc accessories and Tissue Paper on the table and The staff forget to give me Green chutney . the other restorent have it.
