This place was heaven and bliss, I attended here for a friend's 37th bday party.
The staff and the manager pulled out the stops, the food portions were generous.
We had cocktails on entrance, the food was amazing and the night was great.
A big thank you to the Antillean staff team. I'll be back!

Very refined restaurant, reflected in some very good fish and seafood dishes. Top notch presentation, matched by superb tastes.
Not a cheap night out, but what you get is out of the top drawer.

Such an amazing dinner! We only had the share plates but ordered enough for 3 plus some sides. Everything was incredible, service was lovely too - thank you to our waiter Toufik. Would recommend the scallops, chicken skewer, and crab as well as the plantain tart tartin for desert
C. O.
Absolutely excellent meal! Some of the starter portions were a bit small but the chef's dessert sampler is a must have and the entrees were amazing--that yogurt with the lamb was perfect. Can't wait to come back again!

Enjoyed our Brunch at the lovely Pan-Caribbean Restaurant & Bar, Antillean, named after thee beautiful Antilles Islands.
We started with 2 cocktails...
"Water is for Fish, Man"
Martin Miller’s Gin, Lime, Orgeat & Passion Fruit Syrup
Smuggler Beach
Graham's White Port, Pineapple, Pink Grapefruit, Honey & Soda.
and then went onto have the sharing platter of
Chicken skewers, tomato, mango salsita
Grilled prawn, Antillean salsa verde, avocado salsa
Mackerel escovitch, julienne pickled vegetables
Watermelon & heritage beetroots salad (pb)
From the mains we chose the fish and the beef:
Barracuda, cou-cou, plantain sofrito, mojo
Ribeye steak, mojo dressing & yuca fries (g)
While the live DJ was playing in the background with the Caribbean soul music we enjoyed the sharing dessert platter of
Rum baba, spiced rum syrup
Island chocolate torte, passionfruit, mango
Carrot cake, pineapple
Guinness punch ice cream
A delicious menu in a spacious light filled room (which felt like the tardis when entering the restaurant with bar at the front) with friendly services and a great place to enjoy a Saturday brunch with live DJ.

Fantastic food and amazingly friendly staff - what more can you ask for… all dishes were presented beautifully and the flavours were really striking… don’t forget to try their cocktails as well - really unique!

Delicious and homy! We did a 6-course tasting and got 12+ dishes and a glass of champagne. Super great value. The octopus and desserts were to die for. Really happy to have found this gem

It was a last minute booking, that ended up being a super enjoyable night. We found this restaurant while randomly browsing and it did not disappoint us. We were greeted by the lovely staff that took care of us all night. Super friendly and attentive service. The food arrived very fast. It was delicious and different. The cocktails were 5star too. Must try : octopus and oxtail buns starters. Then definitely try the Oxtail main and the lamb cutlets. Overall everything was delicious and flavours were very unique. A must try!

Great food, great service. Wonderful rum tasting to boot. Oh, and we started with cocktails. These were also excellent.

So glad we discovered this restaurant! The food was absolutely fantastic, full of flavour from the first bite to the last. Crab curry is a must, as well as plantain tarte tatin.
Service was also super friendly, and very professional.
Looking forward to visit again for brunch!

Our first time in London and at this restaurant. Great vibe and awesome food. The flavors are amazing and the food is fresh. Presentation was great too. Be patient, I think they were short staffed ( but very friendly and accommodating staff) on the floor tonight but so well worth the wait. Just relax enjoy the drinks and the company.
K. D.
Amazing night, incredibly attentive service and the most wonderful varied menu. There was something for every pallet. We were with a five year old and the staff could not go too far to make her experience great. We had a lesson in rum of the world and tried some delicious cocktails. Would highly reccomended and will return. Try the octopus starter and the crab curry!
A. B.
Antillean is an absolute gem. We had the signature menu - amazing food and great portions. Great selection of innovative cocktails as well. Fantastic service. This is my third visit. I'll definitely be back again!
M. F.
Amazing new restaurant! All the staff are very welcoming! All the food is unique and flavourful! I loved all the food, especially the rum marinated ribeye and lobster mac n cheese! There was a brilliant selection of drinks available and I enjoyed each one I tried! I would recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit again!

Excellent service from the waiters and waitresses- they were friendly, smiley and attentive.
Atmosphere felt like a wedding reception vibe- very family friendly which was great.
Starters- were delicious, they encourage you share 3-4 between 2 which is pricey because they are small and range between £7-£17.
My issue is the mains- appears as they do not
come as a full meal. One meal had meat and carb and no veg/salad/accompaniments which made the plate look unfinished. The other one came with no rice/potatoes etc so had to order rice to go with it £6 for a tiny amount. Couldn't understand this as rice is literally so cheap to make and then you are so tight with it. If we are paying £32 for a main (3 lamb chops with some veg) then it should come with rice/sweet potato etc in my opinion.
I don't think they have got their pricing quite right and that echoes what other diners have commented. I enjoyed the food especially the starters and had a good evening but would hesitate to come back or really recommend others here due to the price points and having to pay extortionate amounts just to have a full meal on your plate.
I saw they do a lunch time deal which is good value for those living or working in the area.

Absolute scrumptious food, the staff was so friendly helpful and courteous, the desserts are amaaaaaaazing the Guinness punch ice cream is to die for ! Amazing service highly recommend!

The food was plenty and delicious, the cocktails are great too. Ernesto was our waiter for the day and he was very attentive, explaining all the dishes and drinks and making sure we had a fantastic time. Thank you 😊

The food was amazing!!! I had the veggie menu and I was served a feast! Everything was really delicious and interesting. My partner had the normal menu and he was mind-blown by the taste and innovation with every dish. Staff was really friend and great service. Highly recommended

My partner booked Antillean for a post theatre meal to celebrate our anniversary last Wednesday. Excellent service ! My waiter, I believe his name was Lawrence was very knowledgeable, friendly and did an amazing job . The menu was very interesting and yet super delicious. We had a good chat with the barmen who I must mention make excellent cocktails and have a great selection of rums. We Ended up meeting the owner too and had a good chat. A Lovely guy. Keep the good work up and I hope to dine with you all again in the near future . Thanks for a great dinner.
R. C.
It's a great experience! Hospitable staff, beautiful food presentation, alluring cocktails and wine selection and wonderful desserts. They made us feel welcome and gave us an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

Amazing restaurant - booked for a birthday treat and what a treat it was too!
Staff we so friendly and professional. The setting was beautiful and the food was incredible. We had the taster menu and every dish was delicious.
Will 100% return and I highly recommend Antillean.

It has previously been difficult to find anywhere decent to eat after a show at the Old and Young Vic. The Cut has many Resturant’s but none of them have been quite what I was after. When one in my party booked this new place on the site of Baltic (remember that?) I had my doubts. I know very little about Caribbean food and this was a great introduction. Excellent, really tasty food, (the salad was stunning and converted my non-salad eating friend) lovely service and a wonderful space. Sophisticated flavours, elegantly presented and a stunning selection of rum. It deserves much more than a post theatre visit.
A. G.
Nice Carribbean style fine dining restaurant, lots of interesting food so best to share!
Would recommend the Grilled Octopus and the Jerk Wings in particular.
Lots of nice sauces provided.
R. U.
Such a delightful experience, staff are amazing, so friendly and accommodating. Service was of high standard throughout. A big Thank you to Tanya
V. B.
Food and drinks you would certainly enjoy! Super friendly staff as well and the only wish is that you could step out to the beach instead of back out in to the london !
Z. R.
Great spot. Was dubious as it replaced the great “Baltic”, but it was an excellent surprise. Small plates were very tasty and generous. Great service from our waiter Toufik. I’d definitely recommend this new place in Southwark.
T. T.
A casual restaurant serving tasty food with good service.
K. N.
One of my go to restaurants in Southwark for both the atmosphere and the food. Both are great. The space is huge and airy, yet never getting too loud. We've never had difficulty getting a table either.
The food is delicious, fresh, and healthy with lots of vegetables and innovative tastes. Weve tried just about everything on the menu by now with our favorites being the blue crab, yam tart, mango salad, and oxtail.
The one thing negative is we arent a huge fan of the desserts. My guess is that they dont have a dessert chef, and the executive chef is more accustomed to savory dishes. Thats totally okay for us though, because the cocktails are so good i cant help but order a few!
I. H.
Outstanding, delicious food. Very friendly staff. And pre-theatre menu was very reasonably priced. Cool place too. Would highly recommend
C. C.
OMG the Rum punch ice cream, it was amazing, so delicious. This restaurant has a great ambience, it's slick cool, great music vibes, the staff are friendly, the clientèle are classy. The food is good, I can't wait to go again.
R. K.
TL;DR - Lovely food at fair price. Budget getting starters as portions are not large. Recommended.
Our Experience:
We were a party of 3. It was a lovely meal in a lively place. We started with ceviche, octopus, and the mango salad. Each was lovely with the clear favourite being the ceviche, although the octopus was a close second.
We followed with the barracuda, jackfruit curry (V), and eggplant (V). Each had lively flavours and were well presented. Other mains we saw there looked great too.
We finished off by sharing a couple of deserts, the sorbet (coconut and lime) and the chocolate tart. They were also very nice and weren't too sweet.
It was a lovely night out at a fair price. When looking at the prices, I think you have to price in a starter. The mains are smaller than other restaurants and may not be enough to fill you. On the plus side, everything was light and tasty, so we didn't leave feeling bloated by too much heavy food.
I. B.
Great service, nice atmosphere, rather mediocre food. Good starters but some of our mains very average. Oxtail, barracuda and crab claw curry all bland. Very good bbq chicken. Good deserts.
S.
I’d give ambience and staff 5 out of 5. But the food on the night wasn’t great. I dined with 2 other guests and non of us were particularly happy with our meals.
A. A. L. M.
Great service, really good cocktails. Food wise the starters have extortionate prices for portion size and quality. Stick to the mains.
S. A.
Amazing service and fantastic food especially the octopus wow loved it. An amazing selection of drinks which did not disappoint and finally they serve the best carrot cake
A. E.
Greet staff - friendly, professional and extremely helpful and customer focused. The meal was fantastic - especially the octopus starter 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
C. R.
Amazing amazing restaurant, every dish had great taste and flavour and the customer service was 10/10. Was helped by Laurence and he was great. Had the octopus, soft shell crab, oxtail patty, chicken skewer, Maduros, chicken and it was all amazing including the French 75 drink, I went to STK the night before and wished I came here instead to be honest. I will be back next time I’m in London 👌🏾
J. B.
Absolutely delicious meal! Plus the staff were very kind and helpful. It wasn't very busy, so I'd suggest getting in before it is tough to get a table here!

Surprise Engagement Party - Private dining room
From the time we entered, all of the bar staff made us feel welcomed as we proceeded to make our way to the private dining area. Their cocktails are amazing!
Antillean comes second to none when it comes to setting the appropriate ambiance for the special occassion. The private dining room was setup beautifully, with the drink station fully stocked and the food stations ready to go. All of the staff were extremely attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. The food was out of this world! I really can't say I have a favourite - hats off to the kitchen team! the variation of dishes were really well presented but the flavours really took everything to another level - no exaggeration!
It's definitely something about Antillean that makes you feel at home, and would recommend anyone to go at anytime to eat and/or drink. I will be going back there again!
K. H.
The food, the vibes and the staff were all top notch making our NYE night at the the Antilean perfect! Wish we could give it ten stars! The food itself is definitely some of the best we have ever had. We will be returning!
S. L.
The food and drinks here speak for themselves. Truly fantastic. I was honestly surprised by how inventive and complex the cocktails were, matching the complexity of the flavours in the food. We've been to the best bars in London and this place stands toe to toe. Service was great, attentive without being too intrusive, the manager even stopped by to make sure our visit was meeting expectations. We will definitely be returning.
M. M.
Came here yesterday and was greeted by the lovely staff. Everyone we interacted with was amazing and went the extra mile to make our dining experience exceptional. The food was absolutely amazing- we had the soft-shell crab curry and grilled chicken for our mains. The flavours complemented each other so well. The cocktails were also great with really interesting, cleverly combined flavours!
H. P.
My friend and I had an amazing lunch at Antillean. We got 2 small plates and a 2 large plates to share and everything we ordered was delicious. I particularly recommend the watermelon salad and the blue swimmer crab. Both things that I wouldn't usually order but the flavours were astonishing.
Plus the staff were friendly and attentive, the drinks were lovely and the restaurant itself was really bright and welcoming.
C. P.
The place is spacious and has a lovely atmosphere. The food was tasty, fresh while still being comforting and really good. Cocktails were delicious and well prepared. We were very pleased with our decision to try this lovely restaurant.
R. A.
Great service, quality food and a good variation of dishes! What more could you ask for?
Would recommend the chicken skewers, mac n cheese lobster, grilled octopus, spicy watermelon salad, Crab curry and steak! 😋 finishing off with a lovely choices of desserts 🍨
S. P.
The food looks and tastes delicious, service is very good, people are very friendly.
Atmosphere of the place needs a bit more spicing up.
But maybe because we also went on a Saturday lunch.
D. S.
I was Lucky enough to visit on my birthday and was not disappointed. This was a big reservation (there was about 18 of us including kids and toddlers) and the staff were absolutely amazing. I can say this is one of the best services I have ever experienced. The food was delicious! Unusual dishes but extremely flavoursome. They also prepared my birthday cake (tres leches) and was gorgeous too. Honestly can't wait to go back.
M. S.
Fantastic service, amazing food presented stunningly on the plate. A great place to dine out, sip cocktails and make up for all that lost time!
M. J.
We had a very enjoyable evening. It was good to see that the structure of the Baltic restaurant had been kept in place, i.e. with the bar as you go in and the dining area below, accessed by the ramp. The food and service were excellent. And few establishment s can stock more makes of rum!
R.
This restuarant is a destination of two halves.
First, the good:
Very tasty food in a welcoming environment with friendly staff and decent drinks. Nice bathrooms and ambience.
The not so good:
First drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive (even though the place was virtually empty). Portions are very small for the price. This sort of cuisine should be hearty and filling. Even though we had 25% off the price, we felt short changed - almost £20 for a tiny bowl of jackfruit curry is not good value. The music was way too loud and we had to ask for it to be turned down twice. There were only a couple of tables occupied but the staff were not that attentive and needed calling over a few times. The bar had run out of cachaça.
Overall a decent experience that could've been made so much better with more speedy service and much bigger portions.
G. H.
Amazing meal with entertainment thrown in. We went for the Saturday carnival brunch. Amazing carribean 5 course and we really enjoyed the concept of everyone gets to eat all dishes. It was like a michelin star tasting menu. The brunch is all inclusive and the drinks (champagne, wines, beers and cocktails) all top quality. No hidden extra costs. Dj was fabulous. Restaurant is right outside Southwark station so 20 mins from the west end. We paired the day with the Bob Marley get up stand up show so a calypso classic day out.
L. B.
Loved this restaurant. The food is off the scale and will definitely be returning! Try something different!
m.
Fantastic new restaurant showcasing Caribbean food in a beautiful yet understated setting. The attentive service was very welcoming and only prepared us for the food and drink to come. The food was fantastic and well thought out, the drinks menu was exceptional. If cocktails are your thing this place is heaven. Coming from a Caribbean background myself I can wholeheartedly say that this place met and even exceeded expectations. Highlights for us were the mojito cured grouper, rum marinated ribeye and the carrot cake. But to be honest, this is one of those places where you could pick anything from the menu and its a winner. Very well done, we'll definitely be back. Cheers! Marcel

Excellent new restaurant in a great location.
The creativity on display from the chefs was outstanding, every dish we ordered had flair and originality.
Even the steak which was beautifully marinaded in rum.. Like nothing I'd had before, but it was music in my mouth!
The ceviche starters were the star of the show for me.. The fish were beautifully cured with an excellent balance of flavours.
The cocktails also very original also.
The service was first rate, and the space felt very special too, with its' high ceilings and solid oak beams. It really had a character which further lent a sense of occasion to our evening.
I look forward to returning with more friends, this is defintely a place to recommend; a real treat.
s. c.
Sumptuous food & cocktails and attentive, but not intrusive staff.
M. E.
Ernesto was out personal waiter and he excelled himself, polite, efficient service, great advise.
We had the mohito cured grouper - wow so tasty, followed by the Octopus and grilled prawn sharing plates, the flying fish and lamb cutlets topped of with lobster mac n cheese was the main course, can't fault any of the dished, even though we were stuffed we had to try the sharing dessert platter - the guineas punch ice cream was to die for. Thanks for making our 25th wedding anniversary an evening to remember, we will definitely be back.
B. C.
Food is beautiful and cocktais steal the show!
A great intro to Caribbean foos in thie former coach-house. The space is quite brignt and airy, and service is excellent. The drinks list features fantastic signature cocktails and a very long list of rums, sorted by country. We tried a bit of everything in the menu - Highlights were the bar food, lobster claw curry (with soft-shell crab!) and the plantain tatin. Going places!
R. H.

R. G.
The decor is a understated and modern with clean lines. The staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive and were very helpful in recommending some dishes.
The menu offers a variety of delicious and mouthwatering starters and main courses that will appeal to those new to Caribbean cuisine as well as fans alike. We had the grilled octopus, blue swimmer crab and oxtail patties to start and every single dish was exquisite. For the main course we ordered their braised oxtail on a bed of sweet potato and It was so flavourful with seriously velvety mash and a sauce that I would happily drink out of a cup. Instead of the usual sweet ending to a meal (all the desserts sounded good)..... We had another serving of the octopus each. The octopus is one of the best dishes that I have ever put in my mouth!!
Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. The chef if not already stared will not have to wait long. He simply uses great quality ingredients to cook dishes that are delightful while keeping close to the culinary history.
The restaurant offers a wonderful cocktail menu, and as I don't drink alcohol they offered me mocktail that was bright and zesty. I wish I had taken more and better pictures of the food.
This is my new favourite restaurant in this area of London. I can't wait to try more of their offerings in the near future.

(Translated) Discovered last Friday during a weekend in London with the family. What can I say…Warm welcome, cuisine with multiple excellent flavors and a very pleasant environment (spaced out table and beautiful decor). Special mention to the waiter who took care of us, French-speaking and to the very good culinary advice (wink from the inhabitants of Le Mans;-)
