Was looking for places to eat and came across Aromas and they turn out much better than expected! Food was really delicious and came along with big portion and we left (2 persons) completely stuffed! The pricing of the dishes are also reasonable and matches the portion of the food. Staff is also attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back again!

One of the best Indian restaurants in the area. The staff are wonderful and so kind/patient/knowledge & accommodating to your requests for varying spice levels. I've been going to this restaurant for years with my family and my granddad who was in a wheelchair. They always made accomodations for him pre lockdown and after lockdown they gave him a heros welcome back as they said they'd been thinking about him and hoping he was well. The food is delicious and the portion sizes very good. We frequently order one rice between two or three and one naan is enough for two. Will be back again!

Decided to try out Aromas on the basis of being nearby and the good reviews and wow super happy we did! Loved the menu, this place has got your standard curry house fare plus some interesting Nepalese dishes. Everything we ordered was really well cooked, super tasty with fantastic flavours. I loved the momos, really recommend trying them. Plenty of delicious looking meat on the menu but also a superb selection of veggie dishes (the veggie keema was amazing). Service was friendly too. Overall, top meal and will be back.

We have ordered takeaways from here loads in the last year and the food is always hot and delicious. We always call to place our order as we have a child with allergies and to ask for one of the curries to be made super mild for the little people ordering. It is always delivered in the time they state or less. They are also very helpful about checking for allergens and adapting dishes to accommodate this. Both the vegetarian and non vege dishes are great. The only sad thing from a takeaway perspective is that having also eaten in the restaurant a couple of times now I probably won’t order naan in takeaway orders anymore as it is soooooooo much better straight out of the oven (as you would expect), but having tasted it straight out of the oven I fear I will be disappointed getting it in a takeaway order now. Thanks Aromas, my family and friends are loving your food, keep up the deliciousness.

I have been ordering from Aromas since I moved to the area from Kathmandu six years ago. I was amazed to find a Nepali restaurant on my doorstep - and really impressed by the food and the selection. Over the past year they’ve adapted to the Covid-19 situation and started doing work from home lunches which are really tasty and well priced. I recommend aromas for takeaway and eating in, they are a great asset to the area.

Really lovely personal service in here in a cosy spot near an up-and-coming part of town. The food here is delicious, a Nepalese/Indian fusion from what I can tell. I recommend the Chicken Momo starter and the Honey Chicken Tikka curry. It's the best Pashwari Naan I've ever had without a doubt!

Pulling up we really weren't too sure but went with the reviews and went in anyways. The place was surprisingly busy, especially for take aways. The food was authentic and tasted great. Service followed suit, very friendly and just simply genuine. We loved that the chef personally checked in to see if everything was okay.

Amazing service Ordered food home for my birthday and have no complaints. Only positive feedback here. The food arrived hot and on time, the portion size was HUGE we all got stuffed and the taste was lovely. The driver was extremely polite and even wished me happy birthday. To add to all of that we got a free meal as a birthday present. AMAZING!!! I am definitely going to visit or order from here again and would recommend everyone else to do the same.

This is an excellent small restaurant and home delivery business. Food is unfailingly first class, service friendly and efficient. The menu is very different from the standard curry house, with some very good fish and lamb dishes. Just across the road from Forest Gate station, and with nearby bus stops Aromas is conveniently located for anyone who wants a good meal in E7. Consistently the best non-veg Indian in the area. Highly recommended.

It's just so good - delivery, takeaway or eat in. All the daals are amazing and I love a paneer roll for the odd cheeky lunch. Couldn't recommend more.

I love the korma and bindhi bhaji, my only request would be for more prawn/fish options as we are trying to cut down on our meat intake - would be great if we could have a choice of meat/fish for all our favourite curry bases. Ordered a delivery for a large family party; food was exceptionally good. The vegetarian dishes were especially delicious, even my grandma who never eats anything from takeaways really enjoyed it. Sadly, although the chicken butter and naan were delicious I can give them a better review because when we ordered by uber eats they sent the wrong order, they sent lamb instead of chicken, even the container said lamb but when I called to tell them they sent the wrong order they claimed that it was chicken but it looked like lamb! it was not chicken and I will never eat here again because I not only never got the chicken korma I order but they didn't take responsibility for their mistakes!

I'd ordered food from here on my recent trip to Stratford, London and was pleasantly surprised by the Indian food we received. Especially the vegetarian items were very good and had authentic Indian taste. The delivery was a bit late, but the food compensated it very well.

It's about 60 pounds for the full ticket. I personally don't think it's worth that cost. It's like a 30 minute trip to the top and back down and that's about it. You get a decent view of Westminster and the shard. However, you can get an even better view of London for free by going to the top of the Tate Modern and going to their observation deck. Save your money

I like the food so I've ordered on more than one occasion. Meat in curry could be more for the portion as theres a lot of sauce in the container. I do like the samosa chaat a lot. Delivery could speed up as it takes long but I like the flavour of the food so I wait. I can't comment on eating in as I've only ordered for delivery.

warning, do not eat IN the restaurant. a big group of my friends had a reunion here and it took about half an hour for someone to even take our order.... this restaurant is very small and we were literally the only people there. Would have been a lot quicker if we had just ordered over the phone. For takeaway however, the food is really really nice and a decent price to boot. Just don't bother physically going there as they honestly can't be bothered to serve you. One couple came in, sat down, and then left after about ten minutes of literally not even being greeted.

As a delivery restaurant very poor. Did not even start to cook the order until we chased them - which was 15 minutes after it was supposed to be delivered (and so 70 minutes after they took the order). Food decent but not what other reviewers seem to make it, 2nd time of trying, maybe 3rd time will be luckier UPDATE Jan 2018. Updated from 2 to 5 star. Now our go to restaurant for delivery in E7. Not the biggest portions maybe but tasty and fresh food.

Been getting takeaway from here for ages. There's a wide range of meat and non-meat stuff to choose from. The samosas are excellent and The Paneer Tikka Masala is amazing. Went in for a sit-down meal the other day too. Great service and very reasonable prices. People always very friendly. Also it's right next to a good pub for a drink afterwards, if you can still walk after all the food.

Was recommended by a friend of mine from forest gate, have to say this is the best indian food i have had in a long time. The Chilli paneer with that red sauce was very delicious couldn't stop licking my spoon, black lentils, garlic naan , butter chicken all the dishes were just amazing. Wish it was in manor park but definitely worth travelling for 15 mins, highly recommended.
