Found the place to be a little hyped. The selling point is the interior and it is only in one half of the restaurant and not necessarily you will be placed in that area.. so you might be disappointed. Making reservations and asking for the specific table might help. The food tastes good but with limited menu and very few options for vegetarians it becomes a bit difficult to make a good choice. Though what we ordered tasted good. The place is definitely pricey.... 30 to 50 pounds on average per person.

We came here for the ambience, but we’re also pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. It’s so busy though! You have to walk through the bustling department store to then get to the restaurant entrance which usually has a line. Always book in advance! The service was fast and professional, but they turn over so many tables that they don’t have time to be very warm or take extra time with customers, but it should be noted that they do try!

Beautiful cafe-restaurant located in a mall. Good for a break but I believe the place is overrated and the food not the best I had those days. For the price I would expect better s crumbled eggs and not some that look like mashed potatos 🙈 but the people that where working there were lovely and for a coffee or tea break with some croissant I definitely recommend this if you are in the area

I've been here multiple times with friends and family - often to show them the cute lavender hanging from the ceiling at the back of the restaurant! The food has also always been very good and the menu often changes which is nice :) I would definitely recommend their lobster burgers and fish!

Came here twice, staff that sat us down was a little hostile. One who took our order was okay. Was being spilled drinks on by another waiter but the manager gave us a discount afterwards. Came here a couple days later for dessert but the waiter was very rude(no crowd even) when introducing the dessert(they would come out with a board of it to show you). Looks very pretty and quite a pricey place.

Disappointing. The place looks dull when it's not shining outside, fake flowers, window-side table area closed after 9pm. Didn't actually manage to have any of the desserts from the menu, waiter joking too much / inappropriately. Food was ok though, but overpriced.

Went here yesterday with a friend. Drank an amazing rosé and had a little choclate cake to share. The windows are surrounded by lavender decoration and the whole space is covered in a very romantic touch. Would very much recommend to have a wine here in between shopping!

One of the best restaurants you will find in Selfridges. Tasteful floral decorations adorn the restaurant with highly attentive service right from the moment you step into the restaurant. The modern French menu is classy and elegant without being overly heavy. It is particularly strong on salads and desserts but pretty much whatever you order, you will not be disappointed.

Booked the table when saw how popular it's in Instagram, surprisingly food is delicious, we had the Salmon salad , salad with goat cheese and mussels, I would say that it was all good even if the variety of food was totally different. Also the drinks are good. For instagram photos it's nice but keep in mind that tables can be busy and u need some time to wait till taking photos. I will recommend for lunch, but book in advance

A lovely cafe, with friendly staff. They don't accept reservations so you have to wait for a table. It can get very busy during lunchtime. Delicious food, with both vegetarian and dairy free options but no gluten free desserts. Also quite pricey, with small portion sizes

Such a great, cozy, beautiful place in the heart of Selfridge shopping centre. Had the most heartwarming experience from the staff. Even managed to get some beautiful photos in their flower arrangement area. I recommend this restaurant 100%. I am vegetarian and they had the most delicious salads available for my request. As well as great menu for meat eater too. Thanks a lot!

Excellent decoration. Poor vegan options for such an instagrammable restaurant. Had to order the avo toast without the eggs that was the most expensive avo toast ever as they just removed the eggs and left me with two small toasts for over £10. The waiters were honestly more worried about what the chef would say at all times rather than the customers!

Long queueing time (with kids and shopping bags, this could be a big challenge). No reservation possible. Portions are small. Quality have decreased compared to 2 years ago. The salad we ordered came with uncooked grilled chicken !!!! Having said that, the good side is that the waiter didn't charge us for this salad. I hope aubaine restores its previous quality.

lovely interior, nice food presentation but hard to find went around in circles inside Selfridges, customer service doesn't match up to the price of food or the service charge that I have to pay. They take you to your table and leave you, ignore you not attentive at all.

I've been here previously and usually the food and service was excellent. Today (boxing day) might not usually apply, because they were understaffed - e.g. serving staff had to take orders and didn't quite grasp the menu. The lobster benedict was quite disappointing: one huge Rösti, one egg and lobster one had to search for. This one certainly isn't recommended. The coffee was overroasted. Too much Tabasco in the Bloody Mary. Not their day.

If you can make it past the pretty shoe department, you'll find yourself at Aubaine – a tucked away cafe inside Selfridges. I came here for a quick morning meeting so had a coffee rather than food (even though I was tempted by the french toast with blueberries). The coffee was good and sweet, though – as you'd expect – it was somewhat overpriced.

Aubaine is nestled in the depths of Selfridges close to the shoe department – we almost didn't make it in due to shoe distractions. It's a nice place to have a sit down if you've been wandering around Selfridges for a few hours and need to recover, and it was very quiet when we arrived, but I can imagine that it gets incredibly busy on a weekend. I had a mint tea, which was nice but nothing special, it was also a bit pricey due to location. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit here.

If you're shopping in Selfridges, suddenly get hit by an attack of the munchies and can't bear to face the crowds of Oxford Street, Aubaine is a decent pit stop. Tucked in away in a corner of Selfridges, the decor is light and airy and music is inoffensive. My coffee was European-style (i.e. nowhere near as good as artisan hipster coffee) and on the pricey side, but all-in-all, it was a nice experience.
