Reviews of Audrey's

Has potential to perform well.
In summary, the food was average, the service was poor, and the coffee was great. I think it’s a temporary issue to be resolved.
The main issues most likely stemmed from them being undermanned in the kitchen with only one chef being available for a Saturday brunch service. It’s easy to understand how the food would be average and slow given this.
However, the staff could have set the expectation better as a result. We waited 20 minutes before the barman, not even the waiters, came over to ask if we were being served - a poor start.
Given that the place offers drinks (coffee, juices, and cocktails) and pastries, at least utilise those items to ease the bottleneck of having one chef on shift. In this case, it’s probably best to let people know that there will be a delay on food and that they may want to have coffee and pastries before the main brunch dish comes out. It was a bit evident that the waiters/waitresses needed to be trained a bit better (having previous experience myself).
Other than this, I think the atmosphere is great, the location is good, and there is also terrace dining which is great in the summer.

It’s about time someone did something with the abandoned building on Union Street. Right in front of the now defunct Flat Iron Square (with who it shares the same owners), Audrey’s offers a chic and modern take on the all day cafe bar. The menu ranges from porridge and mimosas to ribeye steak and a pint, with a wonderful selection of interesting plates and creative cocktails in between.
The decor is great, and I look forward to using the exposed terrasse during the summer.

Discovered Audrey’s while out for a walk yesterday eve. The current owners have done a wonderful job refurbishing and bringing this building back to life (judging from Google Street View and the run down state is was previously in). We had beers and sharing plates. The food was creatively presented and tasted amazing. Can highly recommend the aged rib eye, pork chop schnitzel, and crispy potato to share. Will be back try try their cocktails and other sharing plates.

What a fab find just behind Borough Market, I used to come here years ago when it was a greasy spoon cafe. What a transformation! Its been completely renovated and looks really stylish inside and out. Went for an early dinner with friends, fabulous menu with something to appeal to all, went for the steak which was perfectly cook and Mutton bites with chilli which were a revelation, a lovely night with impeccable service and very welcoming staff. Do come and try Audrey's will not disappoint. 😍

We had a fabulous evening out with friends and got to try a lot of the dishes off the dinner menu. The mutton popcorn and olive fritti are a must try starter, and we shared from a selection of schnitzel, ribeye and fish, and it was all delicious. The service was fantastic and attentive, and there was not a moment that our we lacked for anything we needed. I found the atmosphere to be fun and the music matched the decor. Friendly hosts, excellent service and outstanding food, who could ask for more.
