Reviews of Avenue

Elegant British restaurant with live music, delicious food. Sunday brunch with flowing bubbles was wonderful and just the right mix of atmosphere and vibes for any celebrations.
I Celebrated my birthday here and the staff and entire front of house team were so lovely 🥰
Thank you 🎉🎉

Lovely ambience...loved the musician! Nice food - would have possibly liked a few more varied dessert options.Great Service.

It was our first time eating at Avenue. I have to say it was one of the best restaurants we have ever been, and we've been to many. Food, service, the welcome and friendliness of staff was just beyond par. It was fairly quiet for a friday which i find to be very surprising. Highly, highly recommend to anyone eating in Mayfair. A true gem.

Where do I start this is a well overdue review! I came here for my birthday brunch on October 23rd with my friends and sister, and in all my years of brunching this was one of the best brunch I’ve had. I’ve sometimes been disappointed with the level of service when going to restaurants in Mayfair but the Avenue was superb! The staff was so attentive Carlos was fantastic at ensuring the bottomless was topped up. I’m a big fan of house music and garage and the live DJ did not disappoint. I also want to say Isabella and Carolina was so lovely members of staff. We was a big group but the restaurant really had us feeling welcomed and comfortable. From the moment we walked in it was nice to see someone have a smile on their face and greet us. I highly recommend, personally the steak was sensational and I’ll be back here again soon! Thank you so much for making birthday feel extra special I don’t think I’ll ever forget it.

Modern european menu, food both very well presented and tasty. The setting is modern and pleasant, staff are welcoming and very willing. Whilst not the cheapest place to eat, I will certainly be returning, and the food is well up to Michelin standards - without that expense.
J. N.
My children took me for Mother's Day Brunch. Beautiful place and great service.
Carolina was amazing, made us feel so welcome and special.
Will definitely be coming back. 🙂

Great spot for boozy brunch! We did the 2 course unlimited brunch deal. Would recommend the lobster roll and the mushroom pate. Service was a bit slow for food (albeit we had a large group) but great for drinks and they would promptly come around and top up our glasses whenever we took a sip. The vibe is great and I enjoyed the live music.

We had an excellent experience here. I went with a reasonably large group (10 people) for a birthday meal and it certainly didn't disappoint. We arrived early to have some cocktails at the bar, these took a while to arrive however they were nothing less than exceptional. The waiting staff were lovely and provided recommendations when requested! They were able to gauge the group and make us feel very welcome. Moreover the food was cooked to perfections and presented exquisitely!

I was looking for an American brunch and stumbled upon this place. Unassuming from the outside, Avenue is a piece of art on the inside.
Incredibly well designed restaurant and bar, upscale seating inviting an upscale crowd.
The prices reflect that too- I felt it was a little over priced.
The food is magnificent! I had the beets salad and the avacado salad and both were real treats!
The coffee is great too but the highlight is the bread! The bread is spiced and comes with the softest, most delicious butter. Absolutely brilliant!
Courteous service and note that they provide free coat check at the bar.

I have come for just drinks and drinks/dinner at Avenue. Both experiences were excellent. They have lovely live Jazz on Thursday evenings and drinks are very well priced. The furniture and decor are beautiful and grand, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend a visit!

Friendly service and a delicious 3-course dinner menu with a glass of bubbles for £ 25, which I think is great value. We had a really nice salad with salmon and herbs as starter, which had an excellent balance of different flavors. I was pleasantly surprised by my glazed pork belly as main (sweet and crispy top layer and creamy soft texture inside - baked to perfection!), my father enjoyed a very tasty sea brass dish. For desserts we both had a raspberry lemon pie which was a real treat. Portions were not huge, but for me that’s not necessary, however I advise to take the 3-course meal as 2 courses might leave many hungry. Personally I wouldn’t mind a somewhat slower pace with the bubbles and 3 courses being served in about 70 minutes. All in all certainly a delicious dinner for a fair price: highly recommended!

We had a very nice diner at Avenue last friday with the family. Nice designed space, good to have drink at the bar' sofas before diner, and the food was very well presented and very good. A French gourmet.

Beautifully airy space on st James Street. The interior folks you in to thinking you are outside with large double volume ceilings and indoor plant and flower arrangements. The reception was warn and friendly and the waiter was attentive and present. The meal was well prepared and delicious. My only criticism is that when leaving neither the hostess not the barman made eye contact our indeed said goodbye.

Avenue is a stunning restaurant in St James’s offering lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. The grand bar catches your eye as you walk in with comfortable sofa’s to sip your cocktails and a lovely swing surrounded by florals.
The restaurant centres around a spectacular decanting bar, above which a huge illuminated chandelier sparkles with wine glasses. Although Avenue is clearly a gorgeous restaurant, the staff were friendly from the outset and we surprisingly found ourselves feel so relaxed in such a stunning environment.
We love that the D&D restaurants love Martin Miller Gin as much as we do. The gin is distilled in England in a pot still using two separate distillations which imparts a unique balance of citrus and juniper. It is blende with Icelandic Spring water which gives the gin its gentle softness.
The best bit is the Five @ Five offer. From 5-7pm Monday-Friday, customers can enjoy Martin Miller’s gin cocktails for just £5 (normally £10). We sipped on a Westbourne Clover Club: Martin Miller’s Westbourne Gin, Dry Vermouth, lemon, sugar syrup, half an egg white, raspberries and a Basil Martini: Martin Miller’s Gin, Limoncello, basil, lemon, absinthe mist.
Both were beautifully presented and we so wanted to steal the Basil Martini glass which was stunning! The Clover Club is a favourite of mine as its is delicate and floral without being too sweet.
The brassiere inspired menu is directed by Head Chef Andras Katona and has a great choice of contemporary dishes. The starters include favourites including crab on toast and tuna and beef tartare. However, we opted for a couple of dishes from the “nibbles” section.
The Montgomery cheese & onion croquettes (£5.5) were bite sized delights oozing with cheese. The Salt & pepper squid with sweet chilli sauce was a little thin for our liking but definitely had that lovely salt and pepper taste.
We couldn’t keep our eyes off Mr Frank’s 12 Hour spiced beef short rib, 450g, fat chips (£24) and it came recommended so we clearly had to order it. We were presented with a giant piece of meat on the bone that looked like it was going to defeat us! The meat was so tender falling off the bone – it was a fantastic dish.
On the meat theme we also tucked into Steak & Chips, Flat iron, French fries (£16.5). It was a little tougher than we would have liked but still tasty with the Bearnaise sauce (£2). We also ordered a side of tender stem broccoli (£4) which was a decent portion and perfectly accompanied the meat dishes.
We were pretty stuffed at this point so we decided to share dessert. The Valrhona chocolate tart, mascarpone, gold leaf (£7) sounded amazing so we had to give it a go. The chocolate melted in your mouth without being too rich – a great end to our meal. Our waiter also discovered it was my friend’s birthday and brought over a mini dessert with “happy birthday” written on the plate in white chocolate. A really lovely touch.
Avenue restaurant in St James’s is a stunning venue but isn’t pretentious – exactly how we like it. We felt welcome from beginning to end and our waiter, Alfonso, really went the extra mile.
Make sure you visit for the £5 cocktails and we look forward to heading back to try the brunch menu on weekends.
J. L.
Decent food and atmosphere, service was a little inattentive though. Dropping one star due to the quality of the old fashioned here.
A. S.
Excellent location, beautiful elegant space, good service, but the loud energetic music, people singing to the top of their lungs to the tunes and the overall noise levels makes it a cross between a pub and a night club rather than a high end restaurant you would expect in St.James.
K. Y.
Wish I could give 3.5 stars as it's not quite 4, but not quite 3. Ben Orpwood from Zuma and Sexy Fish is here for a month-long "pop-up" and has introduced steak tartare with Asian pear and lobster with ponzu and garlic butter. This is basically Korean beef tartare, yukhoe, but without the kick of sesame. The lobster had a really good sauce because the ponzu worked really well, but essentially it's just grilled lobster with a bit of limey tang, nothing to rave about. The desserts were completely horrible, except the pretty good tiramisu which was a sundae. But I really wish that restaurants will at least convey somewhere before ordering that "this is not a regular tiramisu" - I didn't want a sundae!
I haven't been to Zuma nor Sexy Fish and this really confirms to me that I should avoid them at all costs - it's just not great when chefs rely on glitz and pizzazz of post code (Mayfair) or decor (def very posh) but with little substance behind.
G. Y.
We had the Virgin Experience lunch with matching wines. It was superb.
S. T.
This place seem to have more staff than necessary but they weren't the most attentive (having asked one for the cocktail menu and then never seeing him again). Food is as good as you would expect for an establishment in this area. There was a 50% off deal but I don't think I would dine again at full price.
Wheelchair access ✔️. There is a step to get in, but they have a ramp 👍
L. F.
Amazing place for brunch. Great atmosphere. Amazing staff and wonderful food. Really made my birthday celebrations special. 100% will be back.
I. B.
Good food.. great waitress (had a good sense of humour). Mimosa was amazing. Good atmosphere and location. Need more vegan options😁😉
N. B.
Perfect for brunch. Good food & music in a relaxed atmosphere were enjoying is the name of the game. The staff was attentive and friendly. In particular Alfonso, thanks for the tailored waffles. If you are in the mood, the Spritz & bubbles option is the perfect combination. Top experience.
V. J.
Yummy food, small but deliciously rich portions, nice atmosphere and attentive staff, not to mention fab food deals! Would go again.
M. S.
We went to The Avenue on Saturday to celebrate my brothers 50th birthday. It was a very special evening made even better by the superb service and delicious food and wine served. Huge thanks to all of the team for such a lovely evening.
M. K.
Great, interesting place with nice interior. Super friendly and attentive customer service, clean bathrooms (M downstairs, F on floor level). Yummy food at competitive prices. Totally recommended while in the area. You won’t be disappointed. Artichoke soup was really delicious, fish cake was very tasty and the cheesecake was a great end to our dinner.
G. W.
Open, roomy, light modern space. A surprisingly casual menu (my companion ordered a burger & chips).
But the show-stealer, being so close to Berry Bros & Rudd, and Justerini's too, is the reasonable corkage charge.
Well done to the person who decided that was ok. More custom from me.
R. J.
The food was wow and the drinks were delish and reasonably priced.
m.
Pretty bad service considering we were a group of 20+ and a huge bill. They wouldn’t let our party sit together for no reason and made us split in two tables super far away from each other when there was a non-reserved table next to us. Food was ok but not great....
D. A.
Brunch in the UK! I'm in love. A trendy bar/ restaurant located by the Palace. Unlimited mimosa's surprisingly great food.
T. A.
Evening Standard Menu 2 courses for £15 or 3 courses for £20/35. I had my Main Corn-Fed Chicken with Baby Champ Potatoes & Jus. A glass of White Wine & Dessert Strawberry & Vanilla Cheesecake. I had my 2nd date today, I booked the table he paid. Good man there.
S. P.
Came here for a 21st birthday brunch. The food was amazing and portions were massive.
The set menu price was affordable and worth it. Drinks were delicious too!
Y. S.
We done the flowers for a wedding on this beautiful restaurant, the manager was very helpful. We had a great experience
N. M.
Nice interior. Went with friends during the 3 course meal for £21 offer. Food was tasty and filling despite small portions.
J. B.
Great service, lovely food. Will definitely come back.
N.
Went for Valentine's Day, their set came with a drink which was worth it, food was not bad.
A. K.
Sophisticated decor abound with thoughtful touches everywhere. DJ set the tone for a vibrant Sunday drink. A shoutout to Ronnie and Alex for going above and beyond.
R. N.
A warm and lovely welcome. Great service. Beautiful space.
4* for the food. My friend and I ordered from the set menu and had the flat iron steak. We both struggled to cut up our steak, there were a lot of sinew. A shame as it was beautifully seasoned.
s. r.
This is a classic but the food is as fresh as you would expect. I am delighted The Avenue has outlasted so many and is a testament to the great service and delicious food. Best kept secret in St James'
D. E.
Had a lovely Breakfast. I chose a very simple Pouched Eggs on sourdough bread. Beautifully cooked. Setting is lovely with wall art and nicely laid out tables. Mix of benches and standard tables and chairs. Visited with ex colleagues for a casual breakfast but this restaurant would equally serve as a place to meet for a business breakfast or lunch. All staff were excellent and very welcoming. Only reason I have to give 4 not 5 stars is; they were not busy and our group of 3 ordered simple breakfast items with extras. Unfortunately the order came out with the extras on the wrong plates. They dealt with this very well and recooked the orders. Silly mistake that should not have happen. Despite this error lovely late morning breakfast in a great place.
P. R.
Bottomless brunch here - service and bottomless nature was great, but the food was pretty mediocre, especially as a vegetarian (or for anyone vegan) - I wouldn’t be visiting again if it was for a normal meal!
M. B.
Great environment, amazing food and lovely staff.
A. D.
Amazing service, lovely venue - nice if unexceptional breakfast (somewhat simple avocado toast, low on interesting spice of flavour, slightly flaccid streaky bacon on the side). Lovely coffee and tea. Atmosphere a little flat over a morning meeting. Still a great place to sit and be though.
R. C.
Lovely lunch spot, always very quiet, nice decor and good service. Very nice booths, felt very ladies who lunch when we arrived (to be fair, we were a group of ladies). Food was OK, starter was a chicken 2 ways dish that was delicious, salmon fishcake main was fairly bland. We had lunch deal which was really cheap, 2 courses with a glass of wine for £15 in St james' is a total bargain. I would definitely go back.
N. T.
My friends and I had a wonderful time, service was excellent everyone was so attentive. Thank you
L. K.
My husband and I visited because it was nearby to the AirBnB we were lucky enough to find on Pall Mall. It was a lovely ambiance. We were seated near the front door facing the front window which emphasized how under dressed we were as I saw a bunch of people in nice dresses and suits walk in. I also didn't have reservations which seemed to be expected. I thought the service was superb. I just wish I had known to dress nicer.
S. S.
One of the best bottomless brunch experiences in London! Took my fiancee here for her birthday a couple of weeks ago and opted for the 3 course bottomless brunch. The staff were brilliant and professional and happy to top your glass up whenever needed unlike other places which you have to wait around for an age. The food is brilliant and a broad choice to suit anything you fancy. The DJ spinning the tunes in the background had the atmosphere to a T.
L. C.
Well what a lovely place, great first impression walking through the door, greeted by a very friendly welcoming receptionist. We was shown to our table which was situated in the middle of the restaurant, we asked if there was possibly a side table and was immediately moved without any fuss. The restaurant is spacious and flooded with natural light which was lovely as it was a sunny day. A live DJ on a Saturday afternoon was a nice touch. The staff were super helpful and very attentive without being intrusive, first class service, amazing! The brunch menu is 2 course for £25.50 or 3 course £28.50, we of course chose 3 courses and for an additional £18 bottomless bubbles. I chose the Egg Royale to start, Mac N Cheese with bacon and spinach, desert was vanilla cheesecake topped with fresh strawberries and raspberries. All 3 courses were delicious and flavour some. Throughout our meal the waiters topped up our glasses with prosecco without us having to ask (I've been to many brunches where I've had to repeatedly ask). Our water glasses were also topped up regularly without asking. I would highly recommend Avenue, from the time I arrived to the time I left it was a wonderful experience and I have no negatives.
H. O.
Avenue is reopened again and they back with its best service a new fabulous dishes! The Steak Forestiere was delicious 😋 COVID measures are really well implemented and you can only have and enjoy a lovely experience as usual!
G. D.
Service was good, drinks were really nice. One of the best Black Russian Cocktails I've ever had. We opted for the 3 course set menu and it was really good value for money.
A. W.
Great in general but the toilets are a no no. You can barely squeeze in. Who have designed this?
B.
Great barmen and waiters- so much fun! Still largely a corporate crowd but very cool vibes anyways. Tasting menu was quite nice, duck was really good. They have a good boozy brunch here too!
S. G.
Excellent food in a lovely setting. The food looked amazing and tasted great! The restaurant looks very stylish and modern. The service was slow considering how empty it was (not one for a quick bite!), although apart from that the customer service was good.
A. C.
Wonderful service with a helpful and caring staff that work together as a team. Food was fantastic, had the duck dish and loved the smokey flavor of the beans it came with. Reasonably priced as well!
J. P.
the staff were very attentive with the bottomless prosecco, topping up our glasses before we finished the full glass. The food was fine but nothing to rave about. All in all it was a fun day out and the atmosphere was great. The only negative thing was that I told the restaurant that it was a 30th birthday on more than one occasion and they promised a dessert plate which we never got.
S. P.
Booked the private dining room for an event last Saturday and I couldn't commend them enough. The service was excellent. We never felt rushed or that we had to leave by the end of the allocated time whatsoever. The service and experience added to us all having a wonderful day Thank you!
L. W.
Avoid seating in the corner, because the waiter will go behind you and knock your chair on and on and on. The burger are nice
A. M.
This is only the second time I've been to Avenue in 18 months and trust me it is just due to bad planning that I haven't been sooner and more often. Food is absolutely stunning to look at and delicious to eat. The service is examplary. I believe my server was called Manuel- (I am recalling his name from my first visit- that alone should tell you the impression he left- I could be wrong) but he was the same one I had in March 2014 and my visit last week. Both times he was brilliant! All the staff are friendly and attentive. We had the unlimited Prosecco and really was value for money. Our glasses were never empty! Their cocktails are unique and presented like works of art. I will definitely going back and much sooner than 18months!!!
N. W.
Bright and spacious restaurant near Green Park Station. Friendly staff, good cocktails and lovely food, with live music on the night I visited. Reasonably priced for the area. A good place to go to catch up with friends over a nice bottle of wine.
M. P.
Went for the Blues Roast lunch - lovely food, atmosphere and great service! Will be going again.
N. A.
Great decor and delicious food (at least the tuna tartare I had), let down by service which varied from excellent to rude and aggressive. There was only one rude and aggressive waiter as far as I could tell, unfortunately he was "our" waiter. He just didn't care, was patently new as didn't know the menu standards, but rather than apologise he was new, countered every question or query with aggression. Definitely not the level of service expected in this price range.
The sommelier and mixologist were excellent however; the wine pairing was superb and the dirty martini perhaps the best I've ever had in London, and pushed up our rating by a couple of stars. With the right service, probably a 4.5 star rating, but our waiter actually managed to somewhat spoil our long lunch.....
e. s.
A fantastic experience. What great staff! Took my mother for dinner here, and we sat outside, enjoying the food, weather, view and laughed away for hours. What amazing view of the tower bridge. Our waitress Rakhel, and the manager Alex, made our experience at this restaurant all the more special. Would highly reccomend this place!
F. D.
The place is really beautiful, it s the perfect venue if you want to impress.
I ate the sashimi and the boneless short rib, both very tasty My partner the carpaccio and the rib eye and she was really happy.
The service was always on top, i never had to ask for any water or wine.
I will definitely come back.
S. M.
Very good food and excellent service. The atmosphere is very nice and great set menu. We'll be going back there!
S. D.
Consistently high standard of cooking technique, presentation and service. Wish they’d bring back their evening happy hour to complement their meal offers. Has more of a buzz during the day than the evening but worth checking out at either meal time.
C.
Phenomenal concept! This is a chique restaurant right in the charming centre of London, which is very reasonably priced. I've eaten here twice (once for lunch and once for dinner), and both times I was very pleasantly surprised. I'll continue to go here and enjoy it!
C. W.
Always lovely to eat brunch here. Good food. Friendly and attentive staff . A little noisy, as it's predominantly groups of ladies on the great unlimited prosecco offer (great prosecco by the way), but its a friendly buzz and not annoying - my friend goes here a lot and he said the evening is much quieter with predominantly couples dining. I like this place - this was my 6th visit here and it won't be long until my 7th :)
A. B.
I was here for lunch with a friend this Saturday. I had the grilled chicken breast and it was amazing, as expected. The servicing staff was very polite and friendly but it was expected, considering the prices which were a little steep. We were very pleased with our visit and will come again for sure.
S. B.
Great food, really enjoyed it. Really friendly staff who shared all my questions about the menu. Quite pricey and small portions but pretty typical of the area was not at all pretentious.
I. D.
Good brasserie in St James, lovely bar which makes great cocktails. The food is very good and very well priced for the area as well. And watch out for £6 cocktails from 8 to 9pm, unbeatable! (though the list of cocktails available at that price is limited, of course)
a. p.
The Mac & Cheese is definitely the best main you can go for! All egg dishes were also great. The burger was over cooked and the chips were overcooked. If all you are looking for is prosecco it is a good place - not many vegetarian options either.
R. D.
Staff are very kind and helpful. The food is amazing. The place is so beautiful. Pizza, pasta and the starters were gorgeous. Make sure you go here.
J. M.
I went with a group of friends and one of them suffers from Coeliac’s disease and the staff were very attentative towards her. They pointed out everything on the menu she could eat. They even got her some gluten free bread to eat whilst we waited for our order.
The evening Standard special menu didn’t look all that on print, but once in front of us it was very nice except for the Rhubarb Crumble. My Coeliac’s friend had the starter soup as and the chicken main course. I had the same and found them very tasty. The only downside was that the acoustics were not very could as it was difficult to hear what the my friends were saying.
Otherwise, a very good restaurant and one I would highly recommend.
D. B.
First visit and fairly quiet. Not sure if its a restaurant that accommodates drinking or a bar that accommodates eating. Anyway, we did both and both were good. Food excellent and attentive staff.
S. V.
Went for brunch and ordered a cheeseburger. Asked for it to be medium rare and was immediately told that's not possible. So asked that it be the bare minimum medium but when it came it was a full medium with cheese but not even a slice of tomato or any lettuce. But more disappointingly, it was not even seared on the outside. Had it been seared on the outside that would have compensated somewhat for the otherwise baby foodish texture and colour of the patty. For what is claimed to be an American restaurant the burger has to be the standard measure and sadly this restaurant fails abjectly. If they use Westminster council rules as the excuse for not serving a medium rare burger they should take a leaf out of Byron and invest in an appropriate grill. After all the prices they charge demand better quality.
G. A.
Loved it here. Food was great staff were friendly and attentive atmosphere was great too. I will be going back very soon...thanks guys keep up the great service and lovely delicious meals.
O. F.
Food was very tasty and quality was superb. I loved the lemon meringue pie, it was delicious. Friendly and attentive staff, atmosphere was very relaxed. Highly recommend!
V.
Good place for a business lunch. Average for a dinner. Service is polite, but not necessarily very attentive. Food tends to lean towards small servings (which work well for lunch) but is very good.
k.
We had a wonderful evening set menu was great food delicious . staff really pleasant . highly recommended. singer was slightly loud to have a conversation
But great place to dine.
a. K.
Great service however the steak lacked any real flavour. Despite the steak not being up to standard, the burger was flavour some and delightful. Quite expensive however.
H. C.
We came here as a big group and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. To last minute changes, vegan requests and generally just making us feel really welcome. Thanks a lot - we will be back.
R. B.
Good, busy venue. Good food with excellent service. Very attentive to the groups needs. There was a constant hubbub on the site. Quite expensive for a brunch though.
M. l.
This place is practically opposite St James Palace, The large Yellow flag flying majestically to let you know where they are.
Its a very airy venue and has a modernist feel inside. There is a long bar filled with bottles of alcohol. A huge metal murial on oneside and a long wineglass chandelier in the middle. The toilets are tiny, you really have to squeeze in to shut the door.
The staff are friendly and attentive. The cocktail list is full of new cocktails that i have never heard of before. Some of the recipies from America's prohibition period.
I settled on a Senitmenalt Melody and a Carol Channing.
A basket of bread was provided, very tasty but we were not told what they were but looking on the other review here I now know,
I decided on the traditional Prawn cocktail or as they call it a Shrimp cocktail.
This was delicious but a let down prawn wise. There was a small round of lettuce and fennel topped with what seemed like 4 prawns and marie sauce and grapefruit. However it was actually 2 prawns sliced in half, so not enough prawns to eat with the greens. This dish cost £14.50 thats £7.25 a prawn!!!!!!!!! I might try the clam chowder or smoked salmon next time.
For the main we decided on the Rib eye steak and wow that was superbly cooked. We shared some sides with it of macaroni cheese with truffle oil ( a delight on the taste buds), cayenne fries and hillbilly slaw.
For dessert i settled on good old pecan brownie with ice cream and WOW that was the most moist rich brownie ever tasted.
I definitely recommend this place for classy American dining at reasonable prices considering where its based.
R. K.
Not the best value for money, but I suppose to be expected given the location. Food is reasonable, service is attentive and the milkshakes are DELICIOUS (both virgin and alcoholic ones)! The one thing I didn't like was the noise. Should do more to dampen it somehow.
O. S.
Nice brunch on a Sunday (slightly over priced for size of food but was tasty)! Staff were polite but the toilets are tiny.
L. P.
Great service and food. Lovely staff. Noisy which is great if that's what you want. The loos are tiny though.
M. J.
Stunning venue its truly amazing! Great value for the price is awesome, perfectly charcoal grilled steaks, deliciously flavorful sides and an excellent wine,Love this place !!!
A. R.
Best meal we had on London
R. J.
Very good Sunday afternoon lunch with live music. Not rushed, good covid precautions, recommended if you're in the area
L. O.
Great service and atmosphere. Book the room to get the best experience.
N. W.
Arrived very late, but the host gracefully kept our table and ensured we were served quickly. Food was very nice and well prepared.
J. N.
Very good food and excellent service. I'd say this is a little pricey and is definitely $$$ instead of $$ but the quality was great. Get the pork belly.
M. C.
One perfect place to complete your day. They have a great collection of wine that suit every meal that they serve! Elegant, classy and one of the best in town!
M. C.
Wonderful decor, great food, brilliant atmosphere, live music. All in all, thoroughly recommend 👍
P. B.
Visited few times over the years. Great atmosphere. Nice design. Food was good but nothing too exciting. Worth a visit.
T. N.
Staff were on point very attentive and helpful
S. H.

Food tasted ok and bottomless prosecco was filled up often although music was way too loud for brunch and was too expensive for what it actually was.

A lot nicer than expected.
Started - crab ravioli: very nice. the ravioli itself was a little dry on the inside but it had a lot of sauce as part of the dish so it wasnt dry when you had it together.
Main - duck: The duck was very juicy and tender. Only issue was it was a bit hard to cut with the knife. Would've helped if we had a sharper or steak knife.
Dessert - eggy toast: this was very nice and different from what I expected. It looks like a french toast but the inside was very creamy and tasted like custard. The top had a thin layer of toasted sugar (similar to a creme brulee). Overall the bread felt like a bread version of creme brulee and it was very nice.

(Translated) New Year dinner
Despite reservation we had to wait 40 minutes for our table. A coffee or drink is usually bought for such long waiting times, but not here.
The food was great, therefore the 3 stars. But unfortunately the dessert was very big and too big and not something special. The menu we had prepaid also included macarons and pralines with the coffee, but despite requests we hadn't received them, the waiter was completely overwhelmed. The music was very loud, it was no wonder that all the guests had their cell phones in their hands. As soon as the live music played, you couldn't hear a word.
For £ 1,000 for 6 people more was expected.
Not even the jacket was put on when walking, which is common.

Neujahrsessen

(Translated) Kimchi top, Bulgogi was "only" okay. I ordered something to take with me and the portion was only beef, glass noodles and cooked rice. A few onions and / or leeks would have been nice.

(Translated) Elegant restaurant. Wonderful dishes. There is a children's menu and a built-in menu to choose dessert, dessert and wine at a very good price. Highly recommended, in my opinion not for families (too luxurious).
(Original)
