Really good food! Compliments to the chef. Great atmosphere and 2 for 1 cocktails happy hour between 6 and 8pm. Advise you to book a table pre hand though as it gets very busy and when they are under staffed both dinner and drinks take forever to arrive. I waited 40 mins to be served drinks. They did however more than make it up on my following visit when we left within an hour of arrival fed and very happy with our meal choices. Staff are friendly and courteous.

My favourite local joint! The pictures speak for themselves to be honest, just look at that PANCAKE! The flat white along with this compliments really well.. if you’re feeling eggs, try out their Turkish eggs. It’s really good! Presentation and food here is always at its finest. It’s every well priced and the service that they provide here goes above and beyond. We came in as a group of 4 and they managed to make special arrangements to accommodate us! It’s the little details of service gets really noticed and appreciated! Thanks again for your hospitality!

Great spot for weekend lunches. Reasonable price - £18 per person for a non-alcohol drink, a main dish and a starter to share. We came here for a late lunch on Sunday. Many cafes and restaurants in the Wimbledon village were fully booked. We came to try for luck. Luckily, it was busy but we’ve got a table. The interior is nice. The food was okay. The drink was on the small portion and the service was just okay - no tap water was offered until being asked. Risotto was serviced without a spoon (ofc, we asked to get one). There was a bit wait between requests. Overall, it’s worth a visit.

Had a very nice brunch meal with my family, decor is amazing I really like the greenery and ambient lighting. Had a good options for food, I had the Babylon Full English which was very filling and presenting very nice. Also shared 2 Pancakes with strawberry and maple syrup. Very tasty and would definitely comeback. Service was good as well, was served food in good time as well. All staff members were wearing masks and hygienic. The only downside is like most restaurants the price of drinks especially wine. I can honestly say the chunky chips are the best I’ve ever had. Food recommendations are the steak with scallops and asparagus, the mushroom risotto and fish and chips. For dessert my daughter thought the chocolate brownie was the best she had ever eaten. My husband had the white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake with raspberry sorbet he thought the sorbet really tasted of raspberry and loved the cheesecake cake Will definitely be recommending the restaurant to everyone. First time here this evening and we will be returning!! We had beautiful starters but for me the winner of the menu was the Lamb Rump!! It literally melted in the mouth and the spinach purée alongside the minted crushed new potatoes was out of this world! Lovely atmosphere, beautiful decor, spotlessly clean restaurant and the staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Very good decent local restaurant around the area. clean and well decorated dinning area. I have really enjoyed my chicken mushroom risotto. It is quite hard to find a good risotto but here. :) Some of food i have ordered was not my taste but i could tell it was good one. I gave 3 star because i saw one of staff brought a Children playing kit for other customer right in front of us who came after us. This kind of thing is call service. I think owner should know this, if they want to charge for service on the bill.

Great experience. The place is really nice. We booked a table for 8 and they reserved a little privee just for us, which was really nice and cosy. The service was outstanding. No issues with gluten and dairy free requests. We also had a little lively kid with us, that dropped her glass with the ice-cream, and they cleaned everything replacing the ice-cream immediately. Always smiling. The food was good and tasty, with lovely presentation. The restroom was clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend the place.

Been here nearly a dozen times now . Really friendly staff and even friendlier if you bring your dog. A little bit more expensive than the other cafes, restaurants and pubs in the area but the quality of the food easily makes up for this. Recommend the Sea Bass and the Beef Burger, but not on the same day.

This is my favourite local restaurant. The staff are lovely and are always attentive and friendly. The food is always so delicious and reasonably priced. I had the halloumi salad yesterday and absolutely loved it, and would also highly recommend the vegetarian breakfast. Definitely worth a visit!

I know, this is the most popular fine-dinning restaurant along the street, we need to make a reservation in order to eat on a Friday night. It turned up not extremely crowded. The appetizers we had Calamari and Artichoke, that were excellently cooked. I liked the main course, which is duck confit, of mine. But my partner didn't like the steak and scallops, he said it's too salty, maybe due to the sea salt. The sides -- salad is a bit bland, the thick chips are ok. Overall it's not a bad choice along the Raynes Park high street and it seems the only better one at the moment.

Been here a couple of times, I usually get a take away coffee from here. The coffee is really nice, the nicest I've had in this area. Went there for breakfast on the weekend to try it out, it's a little bit more then you would pay at other places although it's worth it. Lovely coffee house and restaurant. Comfortable, upmarket with friendly service and good atmosphere. We visited for breakfast and the place was buzzing and full of customers but not too noisy and the service was good. The food was splendid, we loved the granola with fresh fruit and compote, the excellent poached eggs on sourdough bread and the porridge was tasty as well. Lots of healthy breakfast options but also some rich luxurious options like eggs benedict. Quality ingredients and excellent execution, all the dishes we tried were tasty and looked great. The coffee was excellent, we really enjoyed our visit and we will visit again.

We popped in to have a coffe. I ordered a cappucino and my companions had a cheescake and some juice. The coffe was fine and i took a bite from cheesecake too, nothing special about it. It was a little expensive if you are not wealthy. There was a baby crying most of the time which was really annoying but this is not the sites fault. Furthermore when we left the place they give us some discount probably for the inconvenience. All together its a good location, little bit expensive, nice staff, average dish, I want to give then 4 star but because they realized that the little fella maked some of us unpleasant and tried to compensate, i give them 5 stars. Babylon is a gem of a restaurant located a short walk from Raynes Park station. It is a popular brunch and dinner spot during the weekends so show up early. Keep in mind Babylon does not accept reservations for groups smaller than five on Saturdays and Sundays. The outside area at the front features ten tables overlooking Coombe Lane, while the inside is ample with tables and bar seating next to the window. The menu is simple but full of choices including breakfast specials like blueberry pancakes (£9.00) and full English breakfast (£10.50). The coffee is tasty with the golden latte (£3.50) a great mix of coffee, tumric and honey. The service is outstanding - efficient, friendly and accomodating. The only item considerably overpriced was the sparkling water with a bottle charged at £3.50.

Fantastic food and baby/kid friendly! If you want to come somewhere with great food nice warm baby changing facilities and friendly staff then this is the place! One think I noticed when you look around the beautifully decorated restaurant & cafe was the diverse ages of people dining. It's a restaurant that appeals to all and a great brunch and lunch menu too. The coffee is not bad either :) It seems to be quite busy most of the time but we haven't had an issue so far just rocking up, even with quite a large pushchair!

Opened from 8-11pm Monday to Saturday 9-10pm Sunday.? Great pavement seating for those of us who like that continental jar de vie With everything on one level this establishment is also very disabled friendly.

Been a while since I've been in Babylon, they've always had great brunch options but the service has been slow at times. However a recent visit on a (very) busy Saturday has shown them to have a lot more staff on hand who are attentive in getting you seated and ordered with food. The food is as good as ever (highly recommend the Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale as well as the Full English) so all in all, a great place for a bite to eat. Highly recommended.

The food and drinks are really great! Delicious smoothie, yummy hot chocolate, lovely salads. The place is very nice, lively and relaxing all day long. It's always busy but not buzzy. The place has really become the center of the local social life! And the staff is nice.

What an amazing experience! I have now been to Babylon twice and both time have been great. The staff we really warm, welcoming and friendly. The breakfast menu was really good, varying from traditional to Mediterranean. On our second visit, in the late afternoon, we were equally impressed with the same friendly and warm welcoming staff. The seafood risotto was simply delicious! The interior and exterior of the restaurant was beautifully decorated - contributing to a really warm and relaxing atmosphere. The children were also were well catered for. My sons had the fish & chips and the chicken - both really fresh and wholesome. We will definitely be returning to Babylon in the near future.

We've had many takeaways during lockdown and really wish I had discovered Babylon sooner. My husband and I devoured every part of our meal (calamari, fish and chips, vegan platter). On the whole service is really good, but on occasion you can be left waiting for ages to order a coffee or drink and the staff just don’t acknowledge that you’re waiting. Lockdown is hardly the best place to start from to review what looks like a great place to start under normal circumstances, but, that said, today's experience was 5 star. Getting take away food from Babylon was the first time I had take away during the lockdown. Amazing! Babylon’s takeaway is not just any old fast prepared & served food. It is absolutely delicious cuisine that is carefully & lovingly prepared and then served as a take away. So many times you have an amazing meal at a restaurant and then you are utterly disappointed when you try their takeaway menu. This is certainly not the case with Babylon’s menu. The Sea Bass, Halloumi & Crispy Chicken Burgers we ate in the comfort of our own home were the same delicious quality we had when sitting in the restaurant - if not even better! Thank you Babylon for the amazing experience!

I loved the food here. We had fish and chips, crispy chicken burger, Turkish egg and and gambas pil pil. All were really well cooked. Based on the food alone this would have been a 5* review. But unfortunately none of the staff had face mask or shield which made me a bit unconfortwble in the current situation. They did check our temperatures as we walked in which was good but failed to address asymptomatic customers.

Babylon is a little confused; it is a cafe but charges like a restaurant.
