Reviews of Balady Alaesh

Quite the treat! Had the ornate experience of the hummus complete on one occasion and a sabich on the other. I found the prices difficult to stomach, but the food was delicious. The tang of the amba in the sabich still makes me smile, and as for that malabi, that rose delight is one to try if not savoured before. Update...had falafel the other day, fantastic! Really is a quality place to go. The service is quirky and interactive, they are all characters rather than a homogeneous "hi would you like" chain store approach.

Amazing food.. the tantalising flavours are a rewarding experience for a hungry customer... Washed down with a malt Star drink.
I did a take away but there are plenty of seats to relax and be fussed over by the friendly staff.
Can't wait to visit again a sample the rest of the menu.

Always coming back for their falafel, really unique taste! I wish the prices stayed the same, but the better business do the more expensive it gets I guess. Great food anyway!

Delicious takeaway, the best and tastiest food in the area. Highly recommend the asado ribs in a box with extra chips! Great service too and you can see that the kitchen is clean and hygienic. Thanks for a great meal.

Again and again read great reviews about the food at Balady and for ages wanted to taste their falafel in pitta to find out for myself if it’s as tasty as so many claimed it to be ….
Today was that day, lunch this Sunday afternoon, a takeaway falafel in pitta with everything- pickles, techina, humous, cabbage and Israeli salad (no hot stuff - not my thing).
And my verdict is (drum roll…!!!) It was delish!!! Totally loved it!! 💖💖💖
The falafel balls were absolutely delightful and full of flavour, every bite enjoyable!!!
My only request would have been to have a bowl of techina on the side to add even more as I went along - I do love techina!! Yum!! 😋😋
PS - the chips were delicious too !!
If you love falafel I would definitely recommend you have one at Balady 👍🏼👍🏼

Didn’t taste the meat at all as it wasn’t seasoned properly (neither in the shawarma nor the arais)
The chips were excellent and the Cauliflower as well
Ok prices
Rude service

The food was great, real authentic Israeli flavours and I absolutely recommend it!!
The only downside was the waitress... She was being very LOUD and the restaurant is pretty small and it was literally impossible to zone her out.
That kind of spoiled the experience, as we were trying to eat in peace and have a conversation amongst ourselves, she kept being very loud/borderline shouting... and it was a bit off putting to be honest.
Apart from that, everything else was perfect!
