This is amazing!
I lived in Sichuan for 3 years, and I really miss authentic food from there. I am so happy for finding this place. I was told that I was choosing the food that only chinese usually order, and had some good chats and great service from the staff and manager.
Ended up going twice in a week!
Try the Sichuan spicy dishes!

My waitress was odd. I think she was from Poland or some Eastern European country. And she continued to watch me like a hawk. I mean as she poured my drink her eyes were set on me and not the task at hand. Creeped me out. The food was okay, I thought maybe it was because I am used to American Chinese, but no we have an larger Asian population more with authentic food and this was not the same. The atmosphere was nice, especially being next to the Eye and all.

Being a Chinese from Hong Kong, do have a higher bar. But it is actually not bad in general. Dim Sum can be better but fried noodles was A class. Price is not unreasonable at all. Place is spacious and the staff were helpful.
It is just right next to London Dungeon and can see the Westminster Bridge. Good spot .

Lovely decor and great location near the London eye. Food is pricey but the quality was there. Great customer service and fast too! I enjoyed the food here and they overall had a traditional Chinese fine dining atmosphere.
B. H.
Fantastic experience, both the decor and views were stunning. Coupled with a fantastic menu selection and tasty food this is a must if you're in the area!
L. M.
A fabulous setting in the centre of London with stunning views of Westminster, especially in the evening!
The catering and hospitality staff at Bao Fa Garden do a super job and make sure you're taken care of. Shout out to Sue who is particularly helpful!
The quality of the food and wine itself is fantastic. I'd definitely recommend Bao Fa Garden as a place to take your significant other for a fantastic dinner!
P. W.
Amazing food and very nice service, I ordered a chicken breast with rice in a lime sauce was very tasty.
I recommend this restoration.

Who would have thought my favorite Chinese dining experience would be in London? Alan was beyond exceptional for his great customer service as well as his food selections. Absolutely the best way to end our London trip. This is a must when visiting London!
L.
so fantastic view! Enjoy the yummy food here with my colleagues!
Good!

Food was delicious and quite authentic. Service was attentive, price was reasonable considering the location.
Not sure why the business was quiet. It deserves more customers.
K.
We ordered the set lunch for two, reasonable price with very delicious starters and soup, chicken and beef are nice as well. Plus it has a very decent view of Big Ben.
J. A.
Superb food, excellent service. In all seriousness the best Chinese food I've ever had. Do not miss a chance to dine at Bao Fa Garden.
C. C.
Food and atmosphere is good but the service is ok.... a bit pricy as it is located in the tourists attractions.
D. N.
Very good taste , all the food and soup very delicious .
I am asian and very picky of the taste of food and this place the food taste is perfect .
P. O.
Great new menu. Authentic Chinese with views of Westminster Palace in a formal setting. Good service. Will be becoming a regular...

Food is good price accesible, wonderful views to the big ben very recomendable

Only reason why I'm giving this restaurant a 4 star is that it's a little over priced because of the location and because I don't like sweet and sour chicken, but my friend order it, I tasted it and it's the best I've ever had. The staff were very friendly. I was sat promptly for a walk in maybe it's because it's a Tuesday night but it was still quite busy. If you want a seat with the best view by the window of suggest you make a reservation. I ordered the shredded pork sauteed in garlic sauce apparently it's spicy but I didn't shed a tear or sniffle even though my tolerance is low. Was a bit salty for my taste buds (I don't like salt) it went perfectly with the egg fried rice so the saltiness balanced out nicely. I will definitely visit again.

Fantastic food and fantastic service.
I took my girlfriend and her family here for her masters graduation celebration. Was made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much for the staff. Outstanding view over the Thames and great food.
Alan, the manager, is a top guy and provided exceptional customer service.
Will definitely be going back.

As others have said, the views here are great if you have a window seat. We had to repeat our drinks order around three times before we were confident she had recorded it properly. This made us apprehensive as my son has a nut and dairy allergy so we were not sure we would trust her. We shouldn't have worried, the food waiter was knowledgeable about the ingredients used. True he didn't smile, but we felt we could trust him. The menu wasn't typical Chinese menu although many favourites are there. Thus we tried to pick things we hadn't had before. We thoroughly enjoyed the food although someone had a heavy hand with the MSG in the soup - please, using this stuff really isn't necessary. We can report we didn't see any mice. We paid the the included service, but no more.
C. B.
Best Chinese food We've ever had. The flavours were amazing. Very friendly staff and very professional. Ordered a Pinapple juice that didn't taste right and they took it back no problems at all. Would recommend to anyone. Price is a little bit expensive but you pay for what you get and would happily eat here again.
J.
The place was empty when we first walked it so we thought it might be because of the food. Not the case. The pan fried ginger chicken was the best chicken I have ever had. The pepercorn beef that my wife ordered was exceptional as well. The staff was friendly and courteous and the restaurant was clean and elegantly decorated. All in all, a great experience.
J. L.
Excellent food, reasonable price, great location with good river view. Staff are very friendly, good service. Been there for lunch and dinner and everything taste yummy. If you love Asian food, this is a must go restaurant. You will never regret:)

Hidden gem of a Chinese restaurant in central London near the eye. Great food and the Manager had a great sense of humour and understanding to our needs, gluten free, vegetarian and halal. Picked great dishes for us. Walk from a busy path to a extraordinary court yard. 😃
D. T.
Delicious food, great view of Westminster, service was a slight let down, a tad slow considering how quiet the restaurant is; also gave us the wrong order but insisted it was right - we didn't kick up a fuss. The servers need more training to what each dish is. And please check with the kitchen first before insisting your customers are wrong.
J. L. B.
Location is perfect. We ordered from their Chinese menu (they also have an English one). Excellent food, flavorful and very tastefully arranged, almost artistic. Staff was very polite and well groomed, but also very quiet and solemn... too quiet.
L. F.
Lovely decorations and a great view of London. The customer service is good, however my food was cold and there was nothing fantastic about the flavours. It all honesty, its just regular Chinese food that you could buy at any take-away restaurant for a lot cheaper. The food was heavily overpriced for what it was. Overall the food is nothing fantastic, so its not really worth a visit.
J. S.
Really enjoyed our evening here while visiting London. Stylish interior, excellent service. The views are amazing! You can see famous Big Ben from the window right across the Thames. Delicious well-cooked food, nice wine list.
M. D.
I love Chinese food... I like to cook Chinese food myself but this is definitely the best Chinese food I've ever had. Fresh ingredients and wonderful taste. Even the egg fried rice was to die for. Everything we had was delicious. I want to come back soon. Congratulations to all the staff especially Jonathan our waiter who was very kind and helpfull
L. H.
Chinese themed decor as you would expect overlooking towards Bigben. Food is exceptional
F. F.
I've been there just once, this is more for a tourists. Very nice views, great location. The food - authentic Chinese, really well-cooked and delicious. Polite waiters. I liked its interior as well.
B. C.
Food was good but portions were a bit small, so we wanted to order a few more dishes. However, the waitress told us not to order any more because the kitchen was too busy?! Very strange experience...
B. B.
This place only gets that third star because the food was good. We went in later in the day, not sure if all the less personable staff get put on night crew to save the larger flow of day customers. We waited at our table twenty minutes before our order was taken (the food came out in just ten, clearly the kitchen workers knew what they were doing). The waiter insisted on pouring our tea, even though it hadn't had time to steep, so we poured out hot water back in the tea pot, but he just came right back over and filled our teacups with unsteaped tea again (this was more amusing than bad service). We asked for tap water and got charged £3.50 for a bottle of "still" mountain water; I know that's a thing in the U.K., but they serve tap water, we saw the pitchers. Anyway, it was an odd experience and I can only hope they do better during the daylight hours.
C. Y.
This is easily one of the best Chinese restaurants in London. The food is very authentic and the restuant has a very elegant environment. The view from the restuant is spectacular. It is right beside Thames opposite the palaces of Westminster and Western ingested bridge. The only drawback is that it is quite expensive. But it is worth the money.
L. M.
Fantastic food and service. The food was fresh, tasty and expertly served. We went with a 4 year old and the staff did everything they could to make us feel welcome and catered for our every need. The food was plentiful and of a high quality . Would recommend this restaurant without reservation
J. L.
Everything we ordered was excellent and the location is great. It is quite pricy but the portions are generous and so you don't need to order as much as you think. We liked the Sichuan food in particular
T. P.
Pretty good. Fantastic views to Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and the Thames. Good food and service at reasonable prices for central London. Lots of Chinese diners so that's a good sign for a Chinese restaurant.
芋.
The food is brilliant and tasty, the view is nice, and even better in late evenings.
D. B. B.
What a location and food was good too. Service is nice. Tables are placed such that one has a continuous view of the Thanes and the ferry....a lovely afternoon spent after much sightseeing
N. R.
I went to the resturant with my boss, who is in wheelchair, although there is no direct wheelchair access to the resturant. We were personally escorted by their staff from the main entrance of county hall and taken to the restaurant. Food was amazing and authentic. Excellent service. Will definitely go there again.
A. H.
Good selection of regional Chinese cuisine, especially Sichuan dishes with spectacular views over the River Thames, Big Ben and Houses of Parliament. The main dining room is through the bar with views of the River and the London Eye. There was a nice buzz in the dining room with groups of Chinese and European tourists, and a few tables of local customers.
It was a little disconcerting when we first arrived as the bar was a little deserted but once we were in the bar, we were taken through to a spectacular oak panneled dining room. I know this oinds a little clichėd but this really is one of the best hidden gems central London.
K. B.
Great location and good service, great taste.
P. H.
Absolutely incredible experience. Alan’s recommendations were spot on, and the hospitality was second to none. Great conversation only added to the wonderful meal. Highly recommend and will be back for certain!
K. M.
It’s 3* as I liked the food, it was quite good, but it’s 9:30pm on a Thursday we are entertaining a guest, we all flew into London from around the world for this meeting, our guest wanted Chinese and we get kicked out as we are the only people in the restaurant and the staff want to leave (although they were polite doing so), so all the lights go on (we were going to have desert, obviously we didn’t get the chance). as we were getting the bill we see a mouse running around the restaurant floor... now, I live mostly in Bali, I have never seen a mouse running around the floor in Bali.
My suggestion is to this restaurant is smarten up, get your act together and maybe you will get many repeat customers. We won’t be coming again.
R. T.
Food was not bad. Lots of choices including some for kids. Aromatic duck was delicious.
Renovations coming early next year.
I would eat here again.
L. W.
First visit here. Excellent meal. Had the vegetarian crock pot. Lovely and spicy. Service was lovely. Very friendly waiter. Would definatley return. X
T. B.
We got the price fix when we went. The food was good asian cuisine but nothing to write home about. The highlight of this place is the location as it is right across the river from parliament. Ask for a seat near the window and you will have a great view of big ben.
F. L.
Great spot overlooking the Thames, diagonally opposite from Big Ben. Competitively priced traditional Chinese dishes (I.e. not Chinese takeaway cuisine) given the restaurant's location. Discrete and pleasant service.
G. T.
We enjoyed their Peking duck - really tasty. Attentive staff, nice interior. And wonderful views of London. Can recommend for sure.
L. M.
We had a lovely meal, very warm welcome from all members of staff, excellent view and a short cut through to our theatre show. Highly recommend a visit.

(Translated) We went there on a Saturday at 14 o'clock. The buffet is manageable. The padding was quite tedious. The offered food was tasty the staff friendly. It is recommended only conditionally. That is related to the small selection.

(Translated) If you are traveling to London with anyone, don't miss to visit this superb Chinese restaurant next to the Thames. You can enjoy the spectacular sunset view of the Big Ben and Parliament House bathed in the setting sun after dining.
A group of six of us thought that a restaurant with such an excellent view and environment would be very expensive, unexpectedly, the price would be moderate, the products would be top-notch, the portion is full, and the service is diligent.
We then decided to come back the second night, but we had to return to New York because of a local friend's banquet and could not return to it. It was a pity.
If you want to say that they have any shortcomings, it is that they are too low-key and insufficiently advertised. From the river, you must enter a small door and go up the stone stairs. After seeing a large garden, you can see the restaurant through the garden. In this crowded riverside pedestrian street, it is not easy to find. They are really "big hidden in the city"!
