We did the Platinum dining experience. The cruise itself was fun and such a wonderful way to see London river front! We had a table right up front with great views. Seeing sites like Tower Bridge and The Eye lit up at night was well worth it. There are a couple of observation decks to step outside and those will give best unobstructed views. The service was excellent and staff worked hard to ensure needs and wants were met. However, the food was a disappointment. In particular the lamb was burnt on the outside, tough and chewy. The sea bass tasted more like trout and the desserts were a bit too sweet and bland tasting. I'd definitely recommend doing it once for the experience, not sure I'd see myself doing it more than once. Go for the views, not the food

Let me first to say that my experience is disappointing. I took on the platinum dinning but everything save for the view just don’t match the price tag. I start off from the best first which is the food which is absolutely average and it get worse. The selection of wine is appalling. With the platinum dinning comes with some unlimited supply of preselected wine. Free does not mean the quality is good as they are really appallingly bad (not being a snub here), I don’t know how they could offer these wines at all. I paid extra to get their best wine which is really average in my view. I don’t mind to pay but they couldn’t even have the wine served chilled. It’s just really appalling with the money they charge. Service is mediocre at best as the poor waiter had to serve eight/ nine tables at once. The live entertainment was for popular taste and nothing classy at all. The whole ambience was loud and we couldn’t even talk without yelling at each other over the small dinning table. The view of course was good but it has nothing to do with them whatsoever. Overall, nothing really special and an utter disappointment. Food 6.5/10, ambience 5/10, service 6/10, value for money 6/10. Not an experience I wish to repeat.

Lovely experience. Boarding at 6.30. Dinner service started about 8.45 and mains served about 9. So don't come hungry! Drinks prices were reasonable but water was not free. Food was good. Entertainment was OK.

Had dinner in The Glass Room last month! Amazing experience and although it is expensive it is perfect for a special occasion even if you've been on river cruises before. The service is what made it exceptional though and thanks to Bhuiyan for making it special!

The Sunday lunch cruise was a good time - the pier is easy to find and boarding was easy and fast. It did take awhile to start getting food once we were off - everyone else was obviously starting with drinks and we choose to forego those pre-meal drinks. However once the food DID arrive, it was delicious - the tart especially. Staff went around during the main course with extra gravy but didn't get to our table with it until the end of the meal so it was a bit too slow there. We had a set 3 course menu and also had the £9 cheeseboard - which was not worth the price. The espresso martini was great, the tea was nice, and the waters are £4 a bottle (yeesh). The extra "day of" price totaled £39 although I was given the next table overs bill and ended up paying £5 over - this ended up resulting in a nice cocktail that was basically half off. Our waiter Bhuiyan was a cool dude. The live jazz was nice. The boat is very clean including the restrooms. Overall I liked the food but it was quite a lot of money for what it was - £80 per person, plus the £40 in extras. Your enjoyment will vary based off of how much of a dent in your paycheck this is.

The dinner cruise was a wonderful experience not to be forgotten - the atmosphere was relaxed and not too stuffy, and the staff were chatty and attentive. We were lucky with the weather and there was a singer with a guitar who was excellent. The food was also delicious. The only things I would note are that the portion sizes were fairly small considering the cost of the experience, and the starters took a very long time to come out after we got on the boat.

View this as a cruise more than a nice meal and you’ll be ok. Boat is comfortable and decks offer nice photo opportunities. Service staff were very nice and friendly but does take a while for them to get to you. The organisation was not the best, turned up and had to wait in line to be seated in waiting area, then had to wait in line again to board. Why not just board first time? Food very average and not much of it, (don’t go for the pasta, you get 4 pieces only). At the end you’re offered tea, which sounds complimentary, however it will be £8 extra each on your bill added so be prepared for that.

We had such a fantastic cruise yesterday evening. Every staff member was so friendly from when we first boarded to when we were leaving. Our waiter had a great sense of humour and made the experience enjoyable, he was also professional in keeping me informed on my vegetarian option and checking in on whether we needed anything during our time on the boat. It was first class for food and service and the atmosphere was brilliant. The singer and the guy on guitar were excellent with lovely renditions of great songs. We were able to see so many of London's landmarks too. We have already recommended it to family and friends and would certainly come again for a special occasion. Thank you.

We had such a brilliant time today! I originally bought this as a birthday present for my partner nearly 2 years ago but then Covid hit. We’ve finally been able to book it and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Everyone was so attentive and friendly and the trip itself along the river was wonderful. Getting to see the sights and enjoy delicious food was a perfect chance to relax after a long period of uncertainty for all. We would love to come back! Thanks to all.

Perfect for any special occasion, a real treat. Just did the evening cruise with Mum and this trip is a pleasure from beginning to end. The pier side prinks, the boat, and the onboard ambience are fantastic. Not to mention the food (forgot to take a photo of dessert, too eager to start tucking in), drinks and the service. Spotting the many sites of the Thames shore is a pleasure, as is listening to the live singer. Special thanks to George, Mauricio and the lady who assisted Mum when she needed it. If you're looking for a night to remember your time in London, I recommend this trip. A minute away from Embankment tube station.

My wife and I visited the Batueux London for our 13th Wedding Anniversary and we cannot find enough plaudits. We chose the platinum option and it was exquisite… A muse Bouche to kick things off, followed by a fresh trout as a starter. The lamb as a main was tender, delicious and succulent, whilst we indulged into a decadent brownie as our desert, finished off with a cheese board. The waiter was fully attentive and provided a 5 star service. Whilst we enjoyed the food and drink, the live music helped to create a lovely atmosphere, that was just right for the occasion. My wife was treated to a song of her choice which topped off the night. Notwithstanding I cannot think of a better way of taking in the historical and iconic buildings of London under whilst the day sets into night. If you have never experienced this type of occasion then it is a must!! Highly recommended to rekindled that spark!!! ❤️❤️❤️

From the beginning when I booked this dinner platinum experience. Viktorja, was ever so helpful. assuring me everything in order and Viktorja has put alot of effort in everything what we will be expecting that making sure my 8yr old niece is able to join us on this wonderful experience ( my niece even met the captain which was apparently never happened before). when we arrived on the bateaux cruise, we were greeted with a warm smile and comes with champagne or any drink what we prefer. when boarding we met our waiter for the whole evening and his name was Bhuiyan. Bhuiyan greeted us with a warm smile and explain to us what will be having on our meal and making sure that who is vegan, vegetarian and not vegetarian. at first we couldn't understand what he was saying but throughout the evening we got to know him, Bhuiyan was a delightful to talk too, making sure we have everything we need ❤, our drink was always filled up. the whole evening was magical especially for my husband 50th birthday, the food was so deliciously amazing from starter, main, dessert etc. and of course the music entertainment was also delightful and we dance the evening away simply magical evening. I would have given this dinner experience a 10 or a 100, only because we simply had an amazing evening. thank to all the wonderful staff. 💗👏

Doing the trip under virus restrictions may not be a fair test of the service provided and overall we had a pleasant time. The ship departed and returned punctually but we had a bit of a struggle to get our (over priced) wine and to pay for it at the end. The food was OK but I thought the chicken rather dry. It was a change to sail part of the trip up the river rather than just down to Canary Wharf and back and although we didn't have prime seats, we could see enough to spot the many places we have walked past over the years. Had intended to do the trip in the summer when I am sure it would have been nicer but as a treat, a river lunchtime Thames cruise is to be recommended.

We took the in-laws for my father in laws birthday and it was a wonderful experience. Helps by glorious sunshine in July 2018, the whole experience was great fun. The staff were friendly and fun. And the food was (somewhat unexpectedly) very nice. The chicken risotto was delicious. We left the boat full, tipsy and very satisfied.

Wow! Unexpectedly fabulous. Had a wonderful event on the Tom Dixon's Glass Room. We booked in recommendation of a colleague and, boy were we glad we did!!! Went for afternoon tea on a wet Sat afternoon. Was such a lovely way to potter aling the river and see the city in a bubble..protected from the rain and yet felt outdoors. Staff were lovely and music enjoyable. No commentary!! Booked a window seat but was second table in...this was ok but I booked a window seat as I enjoying taking photographs. Sambos and scones were fab. Cakes very poor...store long life cakes taste plastic! Had fun..will be back 😃

Really nice cruise. If you choose the symphony boat you will be able too see the thames and the buildings all around you as it is completely covered with glass panels. The food is really good, fine dining food, with small portions but interesting tastes. Staff was friendly the first time I went but a bit rude the second time.

Very nice evening as was my wife's birthday gift. Dress code elegant, wonderful atmosphere and nice mini cruise experience! However the service does not match the level of enviroment they wants to represent. For my opinion the staff should be more trained to be more professional and the communication between the wesite/reseption and the onboard staff should improve a lot. Booked by website and the payement was not confirmed (likely i've called and fixed it). I've informed regarding my allergy on the website, by phone and reminded to the waiter but the main dish arrived with the ingredient im allergic to. The person in charge (very professional) founded a solution and offered a drinks to apologize, but in the bill was charged the drinks it suppose to be offered. I had to ask clarifications to the waiter (arguing for 10 minutes) and they took it off.

Bateaux London provides you a good dining experience. You can enjoy special menu for dinner while sailing ove Thames river. The view was amazing and you could also pass some very famous building, such as London Eye, Big Ben/Elizabeth Tower, London Tower, etc. You could also enjoy the performance of live music during the dinner. The view on top of the cruise ship was amazing as it has beautiful garden where you can enjoy the scenery. Surely, you can spend a luxury and unforgettable evening in this place.

We had an incident with our booking through a third party website which was quite disappointing. We turned up to find out that our original booking had been cancelled and we'd not been informed (not the fault of Bateaux). However, I cannot speak highly enough of the staff we came across. In particular Rodica, the restaurant manager, who couldn't have been more helpful or understanding. Angela, our waitress, who was great company and (we didn't get his name unfortunately) the doorman who welcomed us so warmly. As for the trip itself - well worth the money whichever service you choose. Great way to spend a unique, special evening in London.

I have been on the Bateaux Celesta in NYC twice and loved it both times. Bateaux Hamony London fell short. The menu choices were selected by the chef on this boat so there was no variance for individual taste. That's the main problem in a nutshell. The staff and the scenery were great. The entertainment was good and the boat was fine The food was just underwhelming. I know you're on a boat with limited kitchen but NYC gives us a choices. And that lead to a better dining experience.

Four of us had lunch in the glass room on Saturday. This was a great experience from start to finish. The dining room, although full, did not feel cramped and we enjoyed excellent service throughout. Having upgraded to the premium package to include a bottle of wine per couple we enjoyed a window table which afforded excellent views during the pleasant 90 min cruise. London prices being what they are I had not expected the standard of food wine and service to be as they were. We were all impressed by the quality of food and wine and the service was excellent the waiting staff work extremely hard to serve 3 courses and drinks in 90 mins but they were friendly and took the time to take photographs on request All in all an excellent day out and one I will definitely repeat.

I booked the lunch cruise for my partner's birthday, with champagne included, and we had a lovely time. The boat's decor is attractive, the glass roof and walls give a great view all around the boat (plus weather protection), and you can wander outside onto the open deck if you want to get a different view. The staff were professional, and the food though small in portion size was very tasty. Will try the dinner cruise next!

Had a problem with our original booking so complained but I have to say the way this was handled was nothing short of exceptional. Special mention for Jorge who re-organised everything and got us booked the next night and even upgraded us. The actual ride on the Thames was lovely. We were blessed with a lovely day and after having afternoon tea inside went onto the deck to enjoy the scenery as it cruised from Embankment Pier towards the O2 Centre. The food itself though was a disappointment. We were served late and had to chase the waiters, and the sandwiches were indistinguishable from what you'd get in a Tesco meal deal. Good but not great

I would say it was 4.5 star experience. The 3 course meal was good and the staffs were very nice. We got a table at the front corner so enjoyed the view for 1.5 hour. We thought we could choose chicken or salmon for the main dish when we booked. But, they actually select one of them for the day so no choice for us. Bread basket is not free but 3 GBP.

Was a beautiful experience, my mother enjoyed her afternoon tea along with my 5yr old daughter. The spread was very delicious, they scones were exceptional! Had a problem with dietary requirements as the cake contained raisins which I am allergic to. It made my tongue swell by the time I returned home but they were very concerned and apologetic for their mistake. I would definitely return, just double/triple check the dietary requirements.

Fantastic experience and a great way to see the sights. Very spacious onboard and staff very friendly. If you want a relaxing cruise along the Thames this is the way to do it. The afternoon tea was good however the scones were exceptional, champagne was very nice and staff very friendly. Alisha was our waitress who made our trip extra special. This was a surprise treat for our friend who was over the moon especially when they did the extra touch of playing happy birthday along with a sparkler brought to our table. When we decided to book a couple of days in London, this cruise was top of our list. Could a meal on a boat really be worth £130 per person? Absolutely. This was one of the best nights of our lives. The food was exceptional, the facilities on board the Symphony were excellent and the band were fantastic. The music was really enjoyable without ever being too loud to chat over, the musicians and singer were great and always appreciative of recognition. We were sat at a table for two, alongside the pianist, and my wife spent half the evening watching his playing skills. We pushed the boat out (so to speak) and booked the Signature package including a guaranteed window table, glass of champagne on arrival, five course a la carte meal, tea, coffee and chocolates, ‘Signature’ wine and mineral water served with dinner and an after dinner liquor. The service was excellent (thanks Mo) and the views from the boat as you cruise upstream to Chelsea Bridge and then downstream to the Millennium Dome are breath taking (including a 360 alongside Tower Bridge). I can't recommend this cruise highly enough, the memories of which will remain with us forever.

Took my girlfriend here for a Wednesday night cruise. Boarding was 15-20 minutes late, but we left approximately on time. The atmosphere was great, but I was surprised by the number of business men (roughly half of those attending). I was expecting mostly couples. The music was great: a live piano player and a decent male singer. The lighting was generally good, although there was a regular flickering of a main light above the small dance floor. This alternated the room from a bit too dark too a bit too bright. Food was good. Guests should be aware that paying for the premium window seating and drink is probably worth it. People that paid we're always served first; we waited an hour before someone asked us if we wanted anything, and we never received our coffee at the end of the night (not that we needed it). You can also go to the top of the boat, but this is not advertised. The stairs up from the dining room are closed off. You need to walk to the back past the bar to go outside. The views from the top deck are spectacular so I wish the staff had mentioned this was open. We didn't realize this until much later.

Comfortable seating delicious food even my husband enjoyed it and he's a fussy eater. Very helpful staff Jason our server was very accommodating when we asked if we would sit at a spare table by the window which he managed to do. The whole experience was excellent with commentary detailing points of interest as we cruised the Thames. Will definitely book again but must remember to request a window table in advance.

I took my partner here for the dinner cruise which was amazing. The food is excellent, the service attentive and the after dinner entertainment was the perfect end to our night. I totally recommend this experience if you want something unique and special. The views of London at night from the water were fantastic and the boat is very sooth in case you are concerned!

My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the 'classic' Sunday Lunch jazz cruise. We were on the Harmony, which has a fantastic viewing space on the boat's roof. The weather was great so this was much better than the glass-roofed Symphony, which we also saw on the river at some point. However, if it had been raining, this would not have been the case. The food was nothing exceptional but it was of a good standard, nicely presented and arguably good value. The staff were very polite, smartly dressed and made the experience all the more pleasant because of it. We live in the suburbs of London, so seeing the sights / taking pictures was not our priority. It was more of a day out without the kids, but having said that we were taking a lot of Facebook-worthy pictures from the viewing deck in the sunshine, and that made the cruise all the more special. The band were tasteful and played a set of classic jazz covers, with some great vocals. I've seen a lot of jazz bands and they were clearly very experienced. Overall, we'd definitely recommend it. It's not cheap but given how expensive some things can be in London, we thought this was good value. Only real negative was that they served instant coffee at the end of the meal. Given the quality of everything else, this was disappointing. Even cheap filter coffee tastes much better - so hope they change this.

I booked this cruise as a surprise birthday celebration for my boyfriend and it definitely lived up to my expectations. We enjoyed a lovely (rain free) evening on the Thames with beautiful sunset views and delicious food. The dock was easy to find using the instructions in the email and accessible via tube. This was quite smart actually. Its a basically a floating dining room - good food, decent selection of drinks (considering your on the water - it is objectively less choice than on dry). Easy views of everything you pass - as a smoker, easy to smoke, but kept well away from dining area (as is right). It's a remarkably good platform for taking photographs of HMS Belfast's port side.

The views and the ambience did not disappoint on board Harmony on a lovely summers evening. The food was ok not the best, I would consider it to be 3 course not 5! No welcome drink as mentioned on virgin experience website. When asked to speak to the manager we saw the manager signalled at the waitress not to call her, i thought it was very unprofessional so the waitress had to go up to her and explain the situation and returned back with the message from the manager that we should take it up with virgin. Lovely waitress (Victoria) worked very hard to keep everything going smooth. Lovely live music and the views to London city were amazing, But the experience was not as great compared to the similar cruise run by the same company in Paris. Its great if you only there for the views.

Not as good as Bateaux Paris, but still good. Lots of construction underway recently and I basically paid for the floor-to-ceiling glass boat and got the other one. I even had upgraded for window seats at an exorbitant rate and didn't seem to get decent service. I don't even remember the server's name and was with them for two hours. Also, I'm not sure why don't provide a photographer like they do in Paris? Seems like an easy way to make more money, good marketing, and better experiences.

Lovely lunch for a friends birthday celebrations. Food was good. We upgraded to get a better seat as was a special occasion which they did kindly accommodate. However, the wine list was very confusing? Included in the meal was half bottle wine each (so 3 bottles were allocated to us as a party of 6). Your entitlement gave you £31, anything over that from the list you have to pay the difference which was fair enough. When we selected the Prosecco at £39 we obviously expected to pay the £8 difference. But was told, “No, Prosecco not included”. I challenged the manager as his list clearly states WINE at the top of the entire list and also states “Upgrade to ANY of the above”. This is not clear enough and slightly tainted the beginning of our meal. But overall a lovely way to see the sites and you go out much further than most trips.

A lovely experience. Cruising along the Thames with our afternoon tea. Afternoon tea consisted of salmon and cream cheese sarnies, ham and mustard mayo and cheese and cucumber, followed by a scone with clotted cream and jam and with a beignet, eclairs, macaroons and a passionfruit meringue tart. We opted for a soft drink as it was hot outside and didn't fancy tea. We had the afternoon tea and went upstairs to take in the view for the way back. We were upset to find that when returning to our table a bill was presented to us for our coke- with no prior warning this was chargeable and was offered to us instead of tea!! So beware of that if you go on this tour- only downside.

A very well organised London river cruise. We boarded at 12pm and we were served a champagne three course lunch. There was a life band in the restaurant, the boat was very clean and spacious. We sailed for two hours and had some nice views around London from the river. A different way to enjoy Sunday lunch, well worth doing.
