K. S.Consistently one of the best Turkish restaurants in London. Their food is always top tasting and fresh. Even vegetarian options available. Prices are very reasonable. Their new renovated restaurant makes it even more spacious and airy. Highly recommended.

N. V.First branch of Best Mangal, have to say the staff were very friendly. Drinks ordered and arrived very swiftly. Only ordered a sharing platter which was presented differently to anywhere else I have tried, and I have tried a lot of places with this cuisine. Food was tasty and they were more than happy for us to take away. Would recommend to all.
T. T.The food here is good and usually also fast. The meats are freshly grilled over charcoal and the portions are generous.
The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because in my opinion the hygiene practice of touching raw meat and use the same space to pack food for take out and handling payments and no sign of hand washing nor sanitising of surfaces is a bit risky for the weak stomach of some people.
But than again my grandma always touched raw chicken back in the days and even didn’t washed her hand afterwards and we are all still alive.
Q. Q.We had multiple rounds of food here. No brainer: order Lamb Doner, it is really delicious! The others not as much. Musakka for ex is not like the ones we ate in TR. Service is really good, Prices are reasonable, cozy/small place.

Lunch is very good value, i think that’s o only between 12 and 3pm for £10! Pic is of my lunch, humous with, adana kebab, salad, grilled pepper, bulgar wheat and bread.
l.Popped here on a Friday as I was craving grilled meat. The place looks smaller than it is, there is plenty of seating space inside. I grabbed the Yogurtlu - lamb on tomato & bread with yogurt. One of my more favourite far East dishes. The lamb was cooked good, maybe a bit too much bread, but over all good.

Everyone working at the restaurant was polite and hospitable, especially the manager. If you are hungry for authentic and amazing Turkish food, you must stop at Best Mangal #1. You won’t be disappointed!

When i arrived the waiter sensed i was not comfortable with my initial seating position and suggested another place which was much better (really appreciated that seeing as i'm not one to make a fuss). The service was Prompt. Staffed checked in twice which was nice. Side platter of bread was always refreshed and Fresh. & just general attitude of the staff was pleasant and light which was nice they made me genuinely smile a few times. There is a full restaurant inside so don't be fooled by the counter immediately in the doorway.
Table service is good and you definitely get better portions and extras when you eat in compared to ordering out. I.e the breads and complimentary sides you get at the table.
S. F.Celebrated my dad's birthday here on a Sunday evening. It wasn't very crowded then but we had pre-booked a table. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Service was efficient and the food was excellent! They even cheerfully took pics for us and brought out the cake singing for him. We didn't feel rushed at all and thanks to the staff really enjoyed our evening.

The service is fast, you see it being cooked, crunchy fresh salad and moist tasty meat. You don’t have to indulge in the lovely warm fresh bread (I did though). Perfect food for a gym bunny.

R. D.I had come here 4 years ago and it was my best kebab ever after watching the rugby World Cup in famous three kings pub nearby. However it was the other side of London.
Now 2019, lo and behold, I moved into West Kensington and they are walking distance. I have been going their every week, lovely people, and amazing food.
I recommend the addanna kebab, but if you want choice of a few things try the mix grill! Lovely.
D.The food is OK but I prefer their sister restaurant (Best Mangal 2) which is only 200 metres away. The food here is typical Anatolian and flavours unique. I find this place best for takeaways and their sister restaurant better for sit-down dinner or lunch.

A. V.I'm not a lamb fan and as such is only here and 2 or 3 other places where I eat in London. Let me tell you that the lamb shanks are absolutely great ( and I had tasted lamb in many occasions cooked by famous Michelin 🌟 chefs). The service is perfect every time.

Friendly service and delicious food - we both had lamb kebabs which were cooked right by our table, the other side of the glass. Both came with really tasty bread and a generous portion of salad (which wasn't even mentioned on the menu). All washed down with a bottle of Villa Doluca red, one we remember fondly from Turkish holidays.

One evening I was passing by and was too hungry to care. Boy, it was like discovering hot water. Hands-down amazing food, whether you eat in or takeaway. It's now my absolute favourite middle-eastern restaurant in London (and there are MANY). Oh and never leave without trying the baklava!

We come to best mangal every 9 months from Liverpool and we honestly loved the old staff but theres a new young man with long hair and he was amazingly kind and looked after us and his service was amazing. He suggested “raki” a traditional Turkish alcohol and as we’re alcoholics we love anything that has alcohol. Went amazing with the succulent meat only issue i had though was the chicken seemed to be tasteless but will definitely come again 10/10

J. P.Satisfaction has dipped in recent months. Portion sizes of main dishes have fallen, alongside small but noticeable price hikes. Ordering a beyti will give you three small pieces of meat on an empty plate, looking like a starter rather than a main. Side salads are now tiny.
Keep your higher prices, Best Mangal, but bring back the fulfilling portions. Instead of "rice or salad", just give both... Also turn off the cheesy YouTube pop playlists for good.

You should taste Turkish food in a good restaurant and Best Mangal 1 is the best one in London! When you taste Turkish food in Best Mangal, you will be addict of Turkish food!!

L. K.SUCH GOOD VALUE! This is a little place not far from the West Kensington tube station - there are a few tables out the back with takeaway service at the front. If you are into grilled meats with delicious turkish breads and fresh salad - this is a place for you. Service was lovely and prompt (but we did go on a Tuesday night, it would probably be much busier on the weekend) and the chefs at the front are pretty entertaining - there's something about quails cooked on hot coals that stirs something wonderfully warm inside me! Just be aware - we shared the Mangal Special Grill and were pleasantly full at the end - and the waiter said it would be good if you weren't that hungry - large servings!!

g. d.There are actually two Best Mangals, actually they used to be two😊 The one best mangal on Fulham Broadway is changed nsme to Kahya Turkish Restaurant under same managament... And second one which is on New Market Rd one is still as Best Mangal... Perfect place for most of Turkish kebaps, soups, mezas and especially Turkish Doner Kebap... And when u go to Kahya in Fulham one then ask for the man named Burhan... brilliant person and looking after so much with the guests👍👍👍
P.I have now moved out of the area, but when ever I am within a 5 mile radius of this place I go there. The food is what I would call proper Turkish food, someone has clearly taken the time to make the food to an high standard and does not buy it from the usual factories that mass produce the English kebab.
They have a takeaway at 104 New North road which has limited seating, a newer restaurant just across the A4 which also has takeaway service and they have now just opened a place at Fulham, 619 Fulham Road. I have not been to the Fulham Broadway restaurant but I have been to the two on North End Road and they are fantastic.
The food is not as cheap as you might get at your local dirty donna kebab shop, but for the extra £1 it will cost you it is well worth it. I would quite happily pay a lot more for the food, it is very tasty and the staff are always polite and friendly. I can't say enough about how good this place is for food.

Im not a fan of the usual cheap and greasy kebab shops and this place I personally feel is a cut above the rest as you can taste the quality.
